After many years of mixing, I still loathe the steep. Seems to take forever sometimes, especially when you're near the end of that big batch you made so you could avoid mixing for a while to get some other things accomplished.
I won't prattle on about mix life, but it's going much better this week. I hope to have some flavor notes to contribute soon enough.
In the mean time though really enjoying the ease of oneshots. Ngl, if this was a thing available when I started mixing, I might not be in the situation I'm in now with a to big stash and work to do.
Yesterday I rotated to the oneshot by u/TeslaDelMar, Melon Baller.
The Rule7 website's product description for Melon Baller: "Crisp green apple, fresh strawberry, and juicy watermelon dance on a nostalgic candy stage."
I'm tasting a well balanced mix of the three, I get mostly apple on the front, watermelon on the back, with strawberry underneath, bridging things together. Finishes like candy, reminiscent of when you're at the end of that Jolly Rancher you just had to crunch up because you couldn't wait. Not full on Jolly Rancher, more Jolly Rancher-esque.
Tl;dr: Perfectly balanced candied fruit/berry blend. Tasty af. Two for two on these Rule7 oneshots. If you haven't checked out Rule7 yet, you should!

I mixed this last night and took it to work today for a 10 hour shift.
This morning I tasted mainly melon with a side of apple. As the day progressed the strawberry showed up more and more until the end of the night when I could taste all 3 simultaneously. Definitely agree with the jolly rancher comparison. This was a pretty decent one shot and I would recommend it to anyone that likes fruit vapes.
