Is vaping oxidised nic salts unhealthy?
submitted over 4 years ago by chinojoints

Hey there, last batch I made I added in 10 mL of slightly oxidised nic in the mix (DIY noobie, didn't think it was THAT bad, final result was 110mL/3mg, turns out I kinda enjoy peppery coconut, maybe I forced myself to like it, either way I might as well vape it rather than throw it away, would that harm my health? Thank you all!

No. If you're okay with the pepper taste then carry on.

Crazy to think about it but some sadists purposely oxidize their nic purely for the throat hit. If you measured correctly and don’t overdose I see no reason to not mix with oxidated nicotine

I vaped some peppery nic for a bit when I first started. Now I’ve dropped my nic down so low I’ve got little throat his and enjoy hit salt. Especially flavorless.

No, just gives off a weirder taste and a little bit of the nic cancels out :)

I have more nic-salts then I can keep track of. I have it in the freezer I have it on the dresser I have some in the cupboard. I even found some behind my bookcase a few months back. It must’ve been there for at least a year and a half. I used it and it was fine. I’m not a doctor or so I can’t offer any input on what’s healthy or not. Point I’m making is my next salt to taste fine after sitting around for long periods

I think as long as it was in dark place should be fine. Sunlight isint food for it though
