Sweet bourbon
submitted over 4 years ago by Jessicalynfox

So my local B AND M has this liquid that is made in house. I know they use only single to double flavors in there mixes plus sweetener. This mix has a honey vanilla bourbon flavor. Not tfa KY bourbon, not SCs bourbon. I am thinking it is maybe a flavorsh milk and honey with something else. Is there any vanilla bourbon flavors that have a more liquor and vanilla taste than actual vanilla bourbon the real stuff? The vanilla is along the lines of TFA vanilla swirl or maybe FR vanilla blast. I am about to.stary exploring local options for.flavoring because I know the owner likes to keep business in his area and gets everything he can that way.

ive noticed while cloning a lot of flavors, most companies throw in some off the wall stuff in there so its hard to clone. i was thinking maybe some TPA malted milk was in there. just a little bit. could also use some vanilla custard v2 from capella.

I considered the custard aspect. I am almost certain milk and honey will get me there if only I can get to the liquor taste. I know I will never nail it, but that part of the flavor is what I like the best. It's a very subtle flavor. Looking at a place called Simply Flavors looks promising because some of the liquid he sells seems to match, like the strawberries. His liquid is names strawberry type 1 or type 2 or even type 1 and 2.

I just made a new bourbon flavor. I put a small amount of vanallin in mine. Because I only wanted a hint of vanilla. Its got other flavors in it as well.

You might be onto something here with the vanillin.
