Just getting back into DIY, looking for a few simple recipes.
submitted over 4 years ago by Jiggaman508

Good afternoon DIY community!

I used to DIY a bit back in 2016-2017, but got lazy and started buying juice again. All was well until recently, when air factory changed their formula for all of their juices including my favorite adv ever, the mystery flavor. I just ordered a couple new mods for the wife and I, and I'm looking do start slowly rebuilding my flavor supply. I was wondering if anyone had any reasonable recipes that only require 3-ish concentrates, this way I can make a few different juices and bounce around between then until I can afford to get my concentrate stick pile back up. The last batch I made years ago was the good old grack juice but I see there seems to be a whole bunch of recipes now. My wife and I really enjoy fruity, candy juices were not really fans of dessert flavors or tobacco. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance

The stuff from Kuri_Santou is some truly amazing edumacation. Here are a few easy Recipes that should be right up yer alley (I’m a big fruit fan also)...  Since yer transitioning from commercial juices, I chose mostly recipes that have ALOT of Flavor:

Camp Tigerclaw by Concrete River

My Melon Balls by Kittybit

Blue Bitchslap by Desruptor

3 Peanuts by MrColdOne

Prickly Victory by HashSlinginSlashur

Any of the 3-flavor Trinities from this page

Five pawns Lucena clone for 500ml.

1 30ml bottle each of TPA Hazelnut DX, peach juicy, Jamaican Rum. 5ml Dragonfruit.

Its actually 6% hazelnut, 5% Rum, Peach, 1% Dragon. But I got lazy and it works.

Does Acetyl Pyrazine make a good sub for hazelnut? Never used it before (it just sits on my shelf.. all said and neglected)

Not so much IMO... AP seems to have a more generic nuttiness. At 0.5% it can def help fill out another Hazelnut flavor. FW Hazelnut is absolutely incredible.

Try Boss Reserve clone by Folkart. It's by far my most mixed. Banana nutty

Quite a few nut and bread flavors use pyrazines to give them their general nuttiness. AP (10%) solutions are very strong though and should be mixed in cautiously starting between 0.25% and 0.50% to achieve a generic nut taste. To me it's a vague salty nut taste that is used more as an accent than a flavor. You can ofc try it sparingly to see if you like it but it won't be a direct sub for most hazelnuts which have an earthy taste on top of the nut to me.

007 cola, it's the only thing I've ever tried that even comes close to choose flavour. Weird flavours mixing perfectly.
