###Congrats to /u/foment_life on having the top-rated recipe last month: Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon
My newest recipe, that I really enjoy since a few weeks:
Hazelnut Tobacco
| Co. | Flavor| %|
|:-----------|:------------|------------:|
| INW| Biscuit| 0.5
| WF | Hazelnuts & Cream| 2
| FLV| Kentucky| 0.5
| FLV | Native| 1
| FA | Soho| 4
A creamy, flavourful dessert tobacco with hazelnut notes.
While FA Soho alone is a great flavor already, INW Biscuit perfectly compliments Sohos cookie side whereas FLV Native and Kentucky make it a real tobacco flavor. WF Hazelnuts and Cream does a great job at adding an excellent hazelnut topnote that comes through after 3 days of steeping and gives the whole recipe its unique, creamy mouthfeel.
Great after 3 days, best after 2 weeks.
Tested MTL in Vapefly Holic and Uwell Yearn.
I‘d love to get some feedback on this one.

This recipe was reviewed by Nachef, as one of the best recipes of the #DevelopedFLV contest by Flavorah. Here is what Nachef said about it:
»...it blew my mind.«»This is crazy, it´s very different from all other recipes I tried."»It feels very full, very well balanced and flavourful«»...this is a really good Cola flavour."»...I don´t get any root beer, I don´t get any soda, I don´t get any cinnamon...«»...it´s crazy and it´s super well ballanced and it blew my mind!«»...this is amazing!«»Congratulations!«
VIVA La COLA was also reviewed at the »Midweek Critique« of DIYORDIE. Here is what Wayne said about it:
»Wow, this is pretty good...«»I like this, this is good...«»...I think this is excellent«»...its pretty fucking accurate...«»It tastes great... I’m not getting any offnotes“»It’s super accurate“„These are the type of recipes, I want more submitted like this.“
It wasn't my intention to create an accurate Cola eJuice. My main goal was to create something special with Flavorahs root beer. I made some experiments with different and unusual FLV flavor combinations. Root beer and citrus soda was a very interesting combination and I remembered that one day I made a note, that root beer might fit very well with an orange flavor. I tried Blood Orange and it was a wonderful addition, but by adding »Rich Cinnamon«, I finally reached the next and final level of my mix.Honestly I didn’t expect the root beer turning in this direction, but at the end, I‘m more than happy with the result and I hope you‘ll enjoy it as much as I do.

Last year I was chatting with a guy on discord that was obsessed with FLV Milk & Honey so I SFT’d it and started mixing stuff from ATF. Came across a Boss Reserve Clone by folkart. I never had the OG so I just made my own following his.

If you're not from the US or more specifically the Pennsylvania area, you may or may not have had Birch Beer. This delightful drink historically was alcoholic and later was brewed as a carbonated and sweet non-alcoholic beverage. It has a light, sweet and citrusy/herbal taste that goes very well with super spicy foods.
The vbic and sugar butter cookie make a cream and yeast base with a touch of vanilla. The lime, champagne and wintergreen blend everything together with a hint of tang and herbs.
Two things to note about this recipe: 1-OOO Sugar Butter Cookie gives me a slight yeasty taste. If it does not to you this will not give the full taste but is still delicious nonetheless, at least according to one of my guinea pigs. 2-I taste the tiniest hint of black pepper from the vbic. This enhances the taste during the 1st week of steeping and then disappears during week 2 leaving everything creamy with a slight background taste that blends into the lime and wintergreen.

If you can find it to try, Boylan Sodas makes an excellent Birch Beer that was the inspiration for this recipe.
So one of my all time favourite e liquids was Strawberry, Watermelon, Bubblegum by Candy King and as I've just got back into vaping and mixing I'm on a dangerous quest to come up with an improved non commercial version. The best I've achieved so far is some stolen inspiration from Water Malone and stolen strawberry tactics from Mother of Gods Milk from u/ID10-T if anyone can add some advice or help out I'd really appreciate it :) It's steeping now praying I've hit the nail on the head but would love tweak suggestions if as usual it comes out like Nana's WW1 perfume.....

This is a Lil’ Debbie. I’ve been working on a recipe like this for a long time. You can add 1.5% VT Red Dates for a raisin version.
I posted this one on the front page but I'll recap here.... it's a super-cold candy-cane, inside of an After-Eight mint kind of vape. Feels like Xmas but works great on hot summer days too.
|Vendor|Flavor|Percent| |:-|:-|:-| |CAP|Cucumber|3.50%| |FLV|Wild Melon|3.00%| |Any|30% WS-23|1.75%| |INW|Natural Mint|1.50%|
Sounds great. I'm new to DIY. Is 1.75% of WS-23 fairly high? I've seen it recommended to stay at 1% at most.
As I said, I'm new so I may be totally incorrect.
It depends on how you react to WS23 and if you like that cold cooling sensation generally around 1% is a good point to start but I also use 1.75% on some fruity cold summer style vapes which I don't find overpowering, others find it unbearable at 0.5 so just experiment really :)
FLV Cured Tobacco @ 1%

FLV Milk and Honey @ 1%
FA Madagascar @ 2%

Inspired by classic RY4 but adjusted to my taste, a bolder tobacco presence and smooth finish.
Burley and cured got me a good tobacco base without alot of ashy-ness. Building from there, buttrip brought that smooth caramel/butterscotch note with milk and honey darkening it up a bit. Madagascar was added for the final vanilla note, sitting back but still present.
Vaping off the shake is fine, 24 hr steep to let it blend a bit.
While I feel this recipe is complete as is, I played around with a couple additions as well- it still has a bit of room to throw in some AP if you want a little nutty note, or FLV Apple filling if you want some spice.
Feedback is always welcome if you mix this.
This is really good. It's an RY2 or thereabout. I ended up making 2 testers of this because when I tried the first one I was drinking gingerbread flavored coffee and was thinking about your bonus additions of AP/Apple Filling. So I added 1% OOO gingerbread cookie and it spun it with a slight spice note.
Well done!
Hey thanks for the review. RY2 huh? I guess I always equated tobacco and vanilla with butterscotch/caramel as a RY4, didn't think to look back at what made 1-3 different. Glad you were able to add a little personal flourish to this, that freedom to experiment is one of my favorite things about making juice.
Co. | Flavor | %
---|---|----
FLV | Red Burley | 1%
HS | RY4 | 2%
FA | Soho | 3%
Simple 123 recipe. Caramel, nuts, tobacco. Red Burley pairs beautifully with Soho. Hangsen Ry4 adds some extra depth and fills in the base with some slight woody notes.
Been messing with caramel tobaccos the past few months. Most of my recipes ended up overly complex. Decided to go back to more simple mixes, and discovered what a wonderful pairing Red Burley makes with Soho. Hangsen Ry4 bridges the gaps between the two, enhancing the woody notes in Red Burley and deepening the caramel in Soho.

Burley pepper tonic
FA | Burley | 4

Here is my January '21 recipe. I've worked on it with some tries and variations but guess this is the definitive version. First try was dated something like half of november. This one, finally approved, is a 30ml bottle that just ended after 7 days of evening vaping.
For this version I steeped it 7 days and I really find this one a good ADV.
I like to make things easy as I've always thought that, how could we say, "Less is more"(?)
Ok so 3 flavors: a preminent Burley for the tobacco notes, more than a hint of Gin, to add a botanic note - much more than an alcoholic accent - and just an idea of black pepper which you will however find clear in the exalhation moment with a delicate and spicy note.
Made another 20ml currently steeping for a longer period just to see if the things get changed in some way.
If you wish, enjoy it... and don't forget to let me know.

Straightforward and tasty cheesecake with blueberry sauce swirled throughout. Nothing crazy going on here, cheesecake trinity with an additional percent of CGC plus a dash of AP to bring more depth and give a thicker graham crust note. Blueberry juicy ripe is a great flavor on its own but the addition of blueberry extra really sells the sauce/syrup flavor. Sweeten to taste, being a dessert I like 0.2% super sweet. This starts to come together after a week or so, 2 weeks to get maximum. Blueberry wild is a flavor that tends to fade over time so I wouldn't give this a super long steep, but the mix should hold true for a couple months.
