Hi, I hope every1 had a good vaping year 2020 =)
I was looking for some good Vanilla Milkshake diy recipes the whole evening. On the main recipe sites, like ELR or ALF, I did not find many of them. And if so, Vanilla was rarely the main flavor note but, instead, there was chocolate, strawberry and everything else inside. - p u r e - Vanilla Milkshake recipes are not so easy to find! So I decided to make this collection. My quest is to find the best PURE Vanilla Milkshakes and I hope you will help me! ;-)
If, in the future, s.o. will search for pure Vanilla Milkshakes, he hopefully will find help here! Feel free to share every f.. PURE Vanilla Milkshake you can think of! No (straw)berries, no chocolate, a.s.o.!! ;-)
Can you help me with my collection? What about people who can't taste CAP Vanilla Custard 1/2 very well? Maybe you'll find help here!! I did not include Clones and if so, not by purpose.
(The names mentioned in this list are from the users who posted the recipes and not necessarily the authors!)

TFA | Vanilla Swirl | 2
Vanilla ice scream base By Rugly is one I came by recently. Very simple straight forward vanilla ice cream.
Custard and milkshake are two different profiles. Thats where a lot of people get thrown off, expecting a “milkshake” from a “custard”
Try my vanilla recipe
TPA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream - 3% LB Vanilla Ice Cream - 2.5% LA Cream Cheese Icing - 2% INW Shisha Vanilla - 1%
Perfect, rich, thick. Took me months to perfect.
Note that Holy Vanilla has been reformulated. Reportedly, the version that's currently available is but a sad reflection of the original. INW Shisha Vanilla is what I'd use as a stand-in for the original Holy Vanilla.
Are you talking about Holy Resurrection or Holy Vanilla 2?
Thanks for this post! I love creams and vanilla, but I have been vaping some heavy Cap VC recipes lately and I can't stomach any more of it haha. I'll have to go through these to see can I find something that isn't so heavy that I have the ingredients for.
Here's one I created the other day. Very full creamy vanilla flavour with some depth. Only requires a short 3 day steep. Sorry about the formatting. On my mobile.
Biscuit (Jungle Flavors) 2.0%
Cream Fresh (Panna Fresca) (FA) 1.50%
French Vanilla (CAP) 1.50%
Super Sweet (CAP) 0.40%
Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (TPA) 4.00%
whats the deal with everyone using french vanilla deluxe over the non deluxe version? Is it just less of the "bad" stuff
Tastes different. Note that TFA actually spelled out Deluxe on the French Vanilla Deluxe, it is not a DX version of French Vanilla. French Vanilla Deluxe contains both Acetoin and Acetyl Propionyl ("bad" stuff). Neither TFA French Vanilla or TFA French Vanilla Creme have those.
Here's some brief notes I made back in May 2018 comparing TFA's French vanilla flavors. They also have a "French Vanilla II" now that I have not tried yet.
TFA French Vanilla - Brighter vanilla that’s a bit artificial/candy tasting, with some darker caramelly sweetness but not much, fluffy, and kinda dry marshmallow-like body. Like a French Vanilla coffee creamer flavored marshmallow.
TFA French Vanilla Creme - Thick and very smooth, a little fluffy, but not dry at all, gives less of a marshmallowy feel and something more like slightly undersweetened cake frosting made with heavy cream. It’s a deep and malty vanilla, but a bit brighter and more artificial than other malty vanillas. There’s also something a bit sour to it, not like rancid sour, but more like just a dairy tang.
TFA French Vanilla Deluxe - Jesus, I think I’m in lust with this flavor, I hate that I haven’t tried it before now. Dark, almost spicy vanilla, heavy cream, heavy butter, and a bit of caramel. Complex. Not super relatable to anything because it’s so buttery. I’d stop short of calling it a custard flavor because it’s kind of fluffy and not eggy at all, but it comes very close to custard in terms of thickness and richness, and might be a better choice than TFA and CAP vanilla custards and Vanilla Bean Ice Creams in a lot of the ways those are used. Silky smooth. Very strong - full flavored at just 2% - and strong both in terms of the vanilla and in terms of the cream, bold, assertive vanilla and super heavy buttery cream with some caramel-type sweetness. I’m surprised this isn’t more popular than it is, and appalled that both TFA French Vanilla and TFA French Vanilla Creme are more popular.
(Update: I guess people have caught on since then and Deluxe is now used more)
Here's another one: Vanilla Malt by u/XGraniteX (Silky)
Thank you so much! It looks great. Especially with that little Hangseng Ice Cream in it! Does the Hangseng as additive also work together with Liquid Barn Ice Cream, like with TFA VBIC?
HS FVIC is pretty strong and normally used at low percentages, although I have seen a recipe from DIYorDie that used it at like 3%. I would say that the combination of HS FVIC and LB VIC is better than TFA VBIC. There's also the Ice Cream Trinity, which uses HS FVIC, LB VIC, and TFA Vanilla Swirl.
