Hi. You should really read this DIY Beginner‘s Guide and look at the sidebar info before ordering anything. It‘s best to choose recipes if you’re new to DIY instead of random flavors that will leave you frustrated. If you want to start simple, I can suggest a YTer that has a series for beginners. You start out with a shopping list of 20 flavors and with those, you can make all of the recipes in the episodes. Have a look here Rugly DIY YT. Good luck and happy holidays.

River supply has a couple good variety packs you can mix with. I got one that was 5 different fruit flavors.

Bull City Flavors has community recipe packs where you can get all the flavors you need for specific recipes.

Other than that, just grab 10 or 20 different ones and start experimenting. If you start with 15ml sizes it can be pretty inexpensive to try stuff out.

Rugly juice has a line of videos where he only uses 20 juices to make recipes, seems like a good spot to start

I would also recommend Rugly. He chooses his flavors thoughtfully (which ain't that easy as it sounds) and he uses those 20 or 30 flavors only all season long (plus none of those flavors he picks will end in the garbage; you will use them all later; on top you'll learn a lot about mixing)

Dude. I did the same thing starting out.

What I wish I did was this:

(Tl:dr- research recipes, buy those flavors)

Go on eliquid recipes .com (or whatever eliquid recipe site you like, and find 1, yes 1, recipe that looks good to you and is highly rated and created by a diyer that is respected in the community (this could be pretty much anyone from diyordie, #noted, the diy discord etc...). List out the flavors for that 1 recipe in an excel sheet.

Next search for similar recipes (highly rated) that use maybe the same base flavors but different top notes (INW Cactus and CAP Sweet Guava; INW Cactus and Harvest Berry... and so on). Add those additional top notes to your shopping list.

Lastly, watch a #noted video on YouTube that has a flavor profile you think might work well to combine with the previous list of recipes you found. (Or any other respected youtuber- be careful though, some YouTube channels just produce crap... like really bad 'recipes').

There you go- a list of flavors that you know are good, combine well together, and give you some variations and the opportunity to experiment (slightly) yourself. This helps you avoid what I did- Buying a bunch of highly rated flavors that don't work well together- forcing me to buy even more flavors to actually finish a recipe.

I've never seen super sweet out of stock, where are you looking? There are no flavor kits like that. And if a flavor is out of stock, why would it being part of a kit make it available to buy?

Flavors being out of stock does happen, but good vendors will have those back in stock within a few days.

Definitely start with recipes. I went the route of buying the 20 top selling flavors, or so I thought because they all had stars next to them. Punch them into E-Liquid and I get like 7 recipes with more than 1 rating and they are all strawberry. Super frustrating.

DIY -ejuice.com in B.C. Canada has trial packs from Flavorah. In many different themes. Have a look. It might be some help. Flavorah is reputable.

You will have half of your flavors being unused. I would start with flavors which will work fine as single flavors. I have about 200 flavors and I would buy maybe only 50 of them again. I would recommend to buy only the best ones of each category. With custards, creams and bakeries it is quite easy to get the best one. As there's only one best bavarian cream or custard etc. With fruits it is a bit more difficult. As all know, there's only one true pear or apple flavor. But there are quite many good strawberries. For example my favourite is strawberry jam by WF SC, but some like INW shisha strawberry more. Do some research, before buying. Don't waste your money. And do not buy flavors because the recipe demands it. Highly rated recipes are mostly older and you will be missing out the lates and greatest flavors. Start with single flavor recipes or 3 components max.
