Hello everyone, just wanted to let you know about a project I've been working on over the past week...
As most of you are aware, All The Flavors has had payment processing issues recently, and more broadly has a wall of maintenance/tech debt threatening to crush it at any moment. While our new mixing website, Mixnjuice, is not ready for the public yet, I wanted to prevent a potential ATF outage from causing anyone to lose their recipes.
Enter https://allthearchives.com
It's a static mirror / archive of all public ATF recipes. You can search recipes, browse all recipes by a mixer, and view the recipes themselves (with reviews!)
I am working on adding the flavor information (i.e. the graph of flavor percentages), but that'll take a week or so. The site is hosted by GitHub Pages, so it should have excellent uptime and stability.
Thanks to /u/mixman0g for preparing the data that the site uses. We'll be updating the data every couple weeks, so don't expect to see new recipes immediately.
So I've been out of the scene online for like two years, just have been mixing blind with a stash I picked up in black Friday 2017 sales. Last time I tried to seriously use recipes, e-liquid-recipes was the go-to site.
What's changed? Did everyone go to ATF?
Yeah and now are getting back to ELR
Lol what why
A lot of folks moved to ATF because it was new and not riddled with thousands of out of date recipes and frankly it looked better. Now ATF is kinda dying as supposedly the guy who hosts it doesn't care anymore. Idk I never moved from ELR and am just passing on what I've read on this sub.
You should work with some of the developers around that have been working on alternative sites, integrating the recipes and reviews. Flavor reviews are the most important for me.
