Personally I add it, the final mix is going to include it, so might as well test with it in, because if it does alter the flavour slightly, you'll know in the test...
Awesome! Thank you.
I mix a base, and add flavours to that, so for me it's 70/30 3mg nic, and every drop of flavour is 0.2% in 10ml
>every drop of flavour is 0.2% in 10ml
No, this totally depends on the gravity of the substance and also the diameter size of the bottle tip. Always use a scale.
I too premix my base. Mostly just to eliminate some steps during my mixing sessions.
It should not matter whether you add nic. If it affects the taste from a 10ml SFT bottle the nic is likely gone bad.
Hi. It‘s actually personal preference, usually depending on how you go about SFTing. If you don‘t want to vape through your testers and just want to vape enough to get a good sense of the flavor, you may not want to waste nicotine. If you test a lot of flavors in one sitting, you may also want to skip nicotine. Then there are vapers, who hate vape any flavor, if they enjoy it or not, until the very end. It’s really up to you.
I test single flavors without nicotine, recipe test batches with nicotine. Good luck and welcome to the community!
Thank you! I'm taking in a lot of knowledge here, it seems like a great community. Really enjoying the DIY side of this and can't wait to find some actual recipes to try. Thank you for the tip!
I got pretty lucky in the sense that all my initial flavors I ordered I really enjoy! So mixing with them has been a blast trying to find what I like and don't like. Either way, I've got enough juice I enjoy to last me months already.
I mix 5ml testers. I also start my cotton in my rda with a 50/50 of unflavored and vape it to near dry before testing a flavor. I don't put nic into a flavor test liquid until I know I have gotten to a decent idea on percent. Now if it is a flavor that has been tested and reviewed by someone who I trust their reviews then I use nic.
