Is it just me or are most tobacco juices too sweet?
submitted almost 5 years ago by Here-Not-Here

I am looking for an all-day vape juice and hoping someone has a good recipe or recommendation. What I have tried: Glas Basix Butterscotch Reserve - too sweet Hometown Hero Witch Doctor - my favorite so far Beard00 - too sweet

I find myself mixing my Witch Doctor with the others to temper the sweetness, but there must be something out there I would like right out of the bottle. Or maybe even to mix up myself. I smoked loose leaf unfiltered American Spirits for over a decade. I have read the Perique tobacco flavor would most closely match but haven’t found a juice or recipe that I really like.

Any suggestions?

You listed commercial juices. What tobacco recipes from mixers have you tried?

I have only been vaping for about 6-weeks and am still doing the research before attempting my own mix. Studying what has been tried and outcomes. From what I have read the mixed tobacco flavors require longer steep times and I’d hate to just jump in to create something unpalatable. I think I want to start with Perique and look at that Joe’s Juice referenced above.

You might like Jo’s Juice, it was crafted for a palate like yours.

Do you mix your own? If so, bitter wizard FA helps neutralize sweetness.

Cafe Racer Lucky 13 is the juice you want. I have tried a ton of tobacco juices and this is undoubtedly my favorite. It is one of the least sweet out of all of the ones I've tried. I also can't stand the sweet tobacco juices.

If you want even more of a tobacco taste and less vanilla, then go for the Cafe Racer Lucky Bastard juice.

You should try a naturally extracted tobacco. They’re made from real tobacco and are by far the closest to a real tobacco taste without much or any sweetness. Black Note is a good company to try to get your feet wet. It’s not cheap, but it might give you an idea about what type of tobaccos you want to shoot for when you start mixing. The descriptions of the flavors are spot on.

Tobacco diy recipes abound. Pick a couple and try them. I’d suggest brigade by chemical burn victim.

Now that I think about it, you’re gonna have a hard time sourcing the TA Cuban Cigar.

See if any of these speak to you.
