I just made my first batch of juice. A mother’s milk clone. My god! If this isn’t as good, if not better than any “premium” juice I’ve ever bought. Even prior to steeping I’m in awe! Can’t believe I ever thought it would be too difficult to make my own juice now. I just wanted to share my excitement with you guys.

Hell yes. And imagine the savings... $30 vs $0.30.

I tell people all the time that the bottle itself is usually more expensive than the juice to fill it. They look at me all silly. I mean of course we reuse the bottles... but yeah.. ;)

It’s insane how much more cost efficient it is to be honest. Definitely about to order some more flavors now. Only got what I needed to make that one recipe, just to get my toes wet so to say.

Try 007 cola, lower the ws23 and it is the best cola you will taste from vaping

This, so much this!!! I've always loved cola and I've tried so many different cola liquids. Some if them were good, some okay but the majority was just awfull.

While on my somewhat hunt for a decent coke diy vape juice, i stumbled upon 007 and by looking at the ingredients i didn't expect too much. Boy was I wrong.

Yeah that's how it begins hahaha! I have a flat rate box full and a treasure chest (like for kids) full.

Who ya getting flavors from? TFA? Capella?

I ordered from liquid nicotine wholesalers. They have TFA, CAP and a couple other brands on there. The mothers clone called for all TFA though.

Cap has some really really good concentrates majority of mine are from them , but they're more pricey. They also have their new "silver line" concentrates, which I think is their "cheaper" line. But TFA is good too.. And flavorah, flavor west, flavor art.. I don't mess with anything but those 5 manufacturers (that's a lie, I have liquid barn flavors too). It's addicting. Especially once you mix your first really good recipe, and I don't mean someone else's.. I mean came up With it yourself, make several revisions, and are super proud of it.. That's such an amazing feeling. And considering how insanely cheap it is, AND it tastes so much better than 98% of commercial liquid.. It's a no brainer. Hope you're loving it! Sorry for writing a novel on your post lol

Don’t be sorry at all. I’m particularly a newborn at this, so you’re insight is fully appreciated! I do eventually want to make make my own recipes for sure. 😁

It's super satisfying!! You're in the right place to learn.. The ppl on this sub are pretty great at helping newbies. The diy sub is good too.. Also vape tool, all the flavor ( the app). All those different places helped me 1000× over when I was starting out.

Nice! My first real success was a mother's milk clone, too. I still remember that "Dayuuum!... did I really just make that?!?" feeling! lol, Welcome to the club! 😃

Isn't it amazing! After someone gets over their initial anxiety hurdle of creating their first juice and realizes just how easy it is (when following a recipe) then the world of possibilities and savings is right around the corner. Keep at it! It might not be long before you're creating and sharing that goodness with us. ;)

Congratulations on that one, not much people able to nail their first batch and most of them juices end up in the bin, is that unicorn milk your own recipe?

It’s a suicide bunny clone I found after looking up tons of recipes. I purchased a scale and weighted everything out to a T following the recipe. 😊

What do you mean by that? Unless people aren't following a recipe, I don't see why people wouldn't achieve 99% success rate at making their e-liquid.

There are lots of recipes that aren't that great, or old, etc. In a year's time, I have tried close to 100 recipes. I would only mix about half of them again, probably have 15 or 20 that I couldn't finish the tester cause my tastebuds thought they were nasty. Lots of variables... but it's fun to learn! Way cheaper than buying commercial and hating it too

For sure, but mixing isn't exactly rocket science. I just took a recent and popular recipe and stick to it since I liked it. Buying dozens/hundreds of flavours is, imo, a huge beginner trap and a lot of people seems to fall for it. You absolutely don't need to mix 100 different recipes to find one that you enjoy. Different perspective I guess.

That's a great achievement. Do you mind if sharing more? Would love to learn from you. --said by a dude who just ordered $200 from the bunny website 10 mins ago.. I guess I have a long way to go

I spent an entire weekend searching a bunch of recipes online to make my first batch from. I found one on a website called 99juices. The recipe is called mothers milk clone. It has like 150 reviews, nearly all five stars. It’s supposed to be a clone of the original suicide bunny juice and though it’s been a minute since I’ve had the actual juice, this clone seems to be pretty spot on and super tasty. The website I mentioned has a couple other suicide bunny recipes as well.

I also just started making my own juice the beginning of October. I've had great luck! My first favorite was called Strawberry Fog and I thought nothing could top it. About a week later my Maiden's milk was ready and it outshone SF by a mile. I ordered some Inawera custard to try in place of my fave (TFA Custard v1) and made a batch with that and a 120ml batch using TFA. I can't wait to try the INA version as the smell from the flavoring itself smelled amazing on its own.

I am having so much fun! Not to mention the incredible savings. With the success of Maiden's Milk, I doubt I will ever purchase another ready made liquid again. I keep searching 99liquids, ecigvape, and e-liquid-recipes.com and I keep finding tons of recipes I want to try.

I feel incredibly lucky that I happened to post on ECF asking for help finding a new tank and made friends with someone who not only helped with that, but also talked me into trying DIY and walked me through the steps the first few times I made some juice on my own. She even sent me a starter kit of sorts for DIY (I paid her for it).

Anyway, I am glad you are having as good of luck as I am! I too am amazed at how easy it is when I had built it up in my mind that it would be super difficult. I will have been vaping for 10 years on Dec 28th, and wish I had tried this years ago.

Oh! If you want the recipe that I use for Maiden's milk it is

  • 6% Capella Sweet Strawberry
  • 3% Capella NY Cheesecake
  • 3% The Flavor Apprentice Vanilla Custard V1
  • 1.5% The Flavor Apprentice DX Sweet Cream
  • 1.5% Capella Vanilla Whipped Cream
  • 1% Capella Cake Batter V2
  • 0.5% Capella Graham Cracker

I also took 10ml out of my 120ml that I mentioned in my other post and added 0.5% Capella Creamy Yogurt. I read that yogurt makes the cheesecake 'pop' so I wanted to see what that would do. If I recall correctly, the original recipe called for everything Capella, but I had mixed the 2 different vanilla custards by themselves and found I liked the TFA better. I also did not have Capella sweet cream, but had bought 2 oz of TFA's brand that I found on clearance at River Supply, so I used that instead. The first time I made this, I used TFA Graham Cracker Clear, but I ordered Capella's Graham Cracker and it just smells better which is why I went ahead with 120ml instead of just 10ml. My friend suggested I make small batches when trying a new flavoring, but I ignored her advice since the smell was much better. Hope I don't regret that!

Happy Mixing!

Autumn

I’m going to be completely honest. I’m still trying to understand the how to break down the percentages. I looked up the maidens milk recipe, you’ve sold me on it. However, the recipe calculation stays the same when I type in 60 mls to make. I also like to live on the risky side and make bigger bottles that sound super tasty. Just so I make more steeping at once.

Like would the percentage stay the same that you put for 60 mls or 100 mls? Thank you by the way!

1 points

by Spiritualwolf90-salmost 5 years ago

So for 60 mls it would be:

3.6%

1.8%

1.8%

.9%

.9%

.6%

.3%

Did I break that down correctly? I apologize, still finding my way. Hahaa

sorry for not getting back sooner. The percentages stay the same no matter what size you make. So for 100ml, it would be 6ml of Capella sweet strawberry. For 50ml, it would be 3ml of sweet strawberry.
