Kinda freaking out...I’ve been vaping FW candycane from BCF since September and just found out it was on the not safe list. A kind user pointed this out to me. Hopefully I didn’t do any damage to myself. Anyways just wanted to post a PSA in case anyone else was using it.
I wouldn't be overly worried about it my dude. There hasn't been confirmed cases of lung injury due to vaping the flavors on that list, it just means that they contain one or more ingredients that are generally known to be unsafe when heated and inhaled.
It also depends on what exactly that ingredient is. I stay away from fructose and oils completely, but things like Diacetyl and Acetoin I'm fine with vaping personally.
just keep in mind that there's a ton of flavors out there, and the majority are not on that avoid list.
just reference the list whenever you want to try new flavors to make sure it's not there

I just ordered a couple of minty ones that don’t. The Noted episode on mints helped me choose which ones will likely be useful and delicious. That and cross referencing with the safety list from the sidebar.
Peppermint oil means there could be pulegone present. It's true for most mints including menthol. It's the mints natural pesticide, so not something added. Put it into Google and have a read, personally a little spooked by it so I try to use as little menthol as possible in my recipes.
