Trying to create a good PINEAPPLE-centric vape?
submitted almost 5 years ago by DeeeGenerate

I’ve bought 4 different Pineapples but can’t seem to put together a full, tart Pineapple recipe.

I dig each one as a stand-alone... but alone they feel weak to me. Can anyone help me mix any of these 4 flavors into one tart, straight-up Pineapple?

INW Pineapple

TFA Pineapple

CAP Golden Pineapple

VT Sugarloaf Pineapple

(I‘ve got a shitload of other fruits too: dragonfruit, passion, mango, lemon, orange, lychee, etc.)

My all time favourite flavor in the vape world is Pineapple, so naturally I have spent years trying to find the perfect one. Another Redditor and I have teamed up to clone my #1 favourite Vape juice which is Maui Sun by Naked 100. It is the best Pineapple flavoured juice on the market, IMO, and I have tried dozens and dozens of pineapple flavors. I can let you know once we’ve got it cloned, but until we succeed, my favourite pineapple recipe is this one.

I would note that that recipe I make with (Best Glycol) Pineapple, as TFA Pineapple is unbelievably strong and at 13% you can kiss your taste buds goodbye. If you don’t have or want to buy (Best Glycol) Pineapple, I would make something like this:

  • 3% (CAP) Golden Pineapple

  • 1% (INW) Pineapple

  • 1% (VT) Sugarloaf Pineapple

  • 2% (TPA)Coconut

  • 2.5% (TPA) Mango

Fuck Yeah!!! Breakthrough!! Thanks - think I could try any of these substitutions?

TFA Coconut Candy or PUR Coconut (for TFA Coconut)?

FA Mango, PUR Mango, INW Mango, or TFA Philippine (for TFA Mango)?

Hmmm I’ve never tried PUR Coconut but I wouldn’t sub the TFA Coconut for Coconut Candy... I think it would be better to just remove the Coconut altogether BUT I could be wrong, so you could try it at 1% TFA Coconut Candy and see how that tastes if you want to.

And for the TFA Mango, you could probably sub for FA Mango, or use:

  • 1% (TFA) Philippine Mango

  • 1.5% (FA) Mango

Do you have any of these following flavors?:

  • (TFA) Bavarian Cream

  • (TFA) Marshmallow

  • (TFA) Vanilla Swirl

Cool, I’ll x-periment with the Coconuts & Mangoes... Thanks So much for all of this! And Yup - I have all 3 of those flavors - (though the Marshmallow is DX).

Hello, I never shared this recipe because I made a version with mango that I liked a little more. But as far as just pineapple recipes go, this is a good one. If you wanna try it just let me know and I will make it public.

Ah, thanks for the recipe mate! I unfortunately don’t have a single of those flavours though 😂 I was looking to get VT Sugarloaf Pineapple but haven’t pulled the trigger just yet. I’ll keep it in the bank for my next purchase! Cheers

Right, but the real question is, how fast are you killing seals in tanks with the pineapple flavor?

It's a delicious flavor, but it fucks up the spacers / o-rings something fierce.

No shit. Is that real? I’ve definitely found remnants of black plastic floating in my tanks before, but figured it was due to overuse.

I've noticed that certain flavors have acquired nicknames on this sub. TFA Pineapple is often referred to as battery acid.

I haven’t noticed any broken seals in any of my tanks vaping this. Of course, as I mentioned I use (BG) Pineapple in that recipe instead of TFA Pineapple.

Have you tried mango tango by glas basix? I think its very on point. Despite it being called mango tango, it is very pineapple centric and I've struggled to find something similar to make.

Hey I’ve mixed up your recipes. A fellow fruit junkie & enemy of the powers that be. I have everything but WF Pineapple Candy... any weird chance you might know an alternative?

Looking at your recipes, I see you using INW prickly pear. I've often seen it being said it's basically the same as inw cactus. Would you agree with that?

Check out some of the reviews on here, Concrete does a good breakdown of flavors. Here is his review of FLV Pineapple

FLV Pineapple - Concrete River

For tart note you could go with other fruits and layer or you could try FLV Sour Apple at like 0.75-1% to try and just get the tartness out of it without much apple

Thanks Money!! Due to my own lack of money, I was hoping that I might not need to buy a 5th Pineapple flavor...

I would probably mainline FLV Sour Apple if it didn’t make me smell so much like an Apple... and 90% of my flavors were bought after reading props from Concrete or the peeps on Noted, so thanks for the tips!!

Another possible option for the tart note.

Thanks - I’ve got a bottle of VT Citrus Mate coming in from the UK as we speak! Haven‘t had much luck with additives so far, but if this shit works it will substantially increase my entire quality of life.

I’ve always done Inw/cap like 5/1-2. Not sure how tart that would be. It’s been ages since I’ve tried them though.

Excellente! My taste buds are pretty sub-par, so my percentages are just a bit higher.

Do you have any idea how you might try to mix INW & CAP? I’m still pretty new to this so I have a hard time with things like that.

That’s what I meant by 5/1-2.

Inw pineapple 5%

Cap pineapple 1-2%.

I made this from the recent recipe dump by u/Tvstymixes. Changed a few things.

Co. | Flavor | %
---|---|---- FA | Pear | 0.3 TFA | Dragonfruit | 0.7 CAP | Golden Pineapple | 3 FA | Kiwi | 3 FA | Lime Tahity (Cold Pressed) | 0.3 INW | Shisha Strawberry | 1.75 RF | Strawberry (SC) | 3 VT | Sugarloaf Pineapple | 2.5

That’s insanely helpful. Thank you, I’ve been looking for a good substitution for FLV Pineapple.

Ohh I'll have to give your remix a try. I've been messing about with a remix of the original aswell... I'll post it up once I've finished.
