Hello I got some nicotine, that i think needs to be changed into another container.
I have it now in a big 500ML bottle, and i can't seem to get any syrringes that can be on the bottle. So i kinda need to transfer it.
Can this container do it? https://mariaervill.dk/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/IMG_4549.jpg
No. You need these Amber Boston Rounds with polycone caps you put in the freezer. personally I’d get them in 2 oz size. Like seven of them. And one of these Amber Boston Rounds with dropper cap for your working bottle. I’d get two 1 oz bottles, one with a polycone cap, and the other with a dropper cap. My boston rounds have a bit of space at the top so you can put a little more than 30ml in a 1 oz bottle. You will want to decant into your glass and fill to the top as much as you can to minimize oxygen in the bottle
Is this legitimately necessary? I understand that for the longevity of the nicotine it is best, but I only have a 240 ml bottle of 48mg/ml nic that I share with my father. We seem to go through it pretty quickly and I haven't noticed it oxidizing.
Even going through it quickly, an amber bottle would still be better than plastic. Especially if your reusing it every time you buy new nic.
If you put your nic into a squeeze bottle, you wouldn't need to be using syringes. Picnic condiment bottles are popular and available from Walmart for like 2 bucks. If you are using a syringe because you are mixing by volume, it is much easier to get a scale and mix by weight.
If you have a neck size of 28/400, a 10ml plastic BD syringe will fit inside. You can get 4" 12ga SS blunt tips from amazon to reach the bottom of a 16oz boston for $15. Or for 32oz bostons with a 33/400 neck, a 20ml bd syringe with 5" 12ga ss blunt tips. Though i'd recommend going with smaller 8oz boston rounds with a 28/400 neck and a 2" 12ga ss blunt tip for your opened bottle if you can go thru it in less than 7 months.
