I smelled the Natural Lemon and it seemed like a match for Dinner Lady Lemon Tart. What I mean is, I suspect that juice company used it in their wildly popular Lemon Tart E-Liquid. The other one might be used too but not sure. I'd like to hear from anybody who's tried them yet.
First of all SSA Natural Lemon is some powerful stuff. It's an "In Your Face" lemon. I used 1% and it's announcing itself loudly and clearly. I think it would go nice with a lot of other lemon flavors. I'm TERRIBLE at describing flavors. If you've had DLLT, it's eerily similar to that minus the large amount of sucralose. Get some to see what I mean, or just to call me crazy. I think it's a winner though. If this has already been discussed, please ignore my post but I'd also like to read that discussion.
I know a lot of people got excited about CNV Lemon Cream Wafer. I think that ones a winner too but DLLT is obviously more than one flavor. Lemon cream wafer needs help in the lemon department, not only help but the right lemon flavor(s). I've posted about this at other places but haven't got any feedback. I'm not sure many DIYers have even tried DLLT.
The only one I've tried so far is the Classic Oat Flakes. It was exactly what I thought it should be. Mix it with some chocolate (there's the hard part) and some PB and you've got yourself one of those peanut butter-chocolate no-bake oat cookies. It was potent. 0.5% was plenty. Having only one flavor as reference, I could be wrong and need to go up, but until I have a reason to do otherwise, I'm going to start sampling these at 0.5%.
I'm surprised at the price. If they're all pretty consistent as fas as potency, it'd be a very good bang for your buck lineup. I got quite a few of them from Bullcity to try out. I've only mixed up four of them. Speaking of peanut butter, I got that one from SSA and it smells pretty good. I gotta make time to get them all mixed and sampled. The majority of what I got is fruit flavors and a lot of them smell really good.
What's SSA and what's the DLLt stand for?
-
SSS= Sobucky Super Aromas (flavor brand)
-
DLLT= Dinner Lady Lemon Tart (E-Liquid)
-
BCF= Bull City Flavors (flavor store)
SSA is part of the Chemnovatic/Molinberry family from what I've read. So they're from Poland maybe? Dinner Lady E-Liquid brand is from the UK.
Don't know how likely it is that dinner lady uses them since they were released in 2020
The Lemon Cream Wafer one from Chemnovatic was released recently too (from what I've read). I know nothing else about those three flavor houses. This SSA line came out of nowhere it seems like to me. I had never heard of them until BCF put some on their website. It's under $2 to try it out your next flavor order. See for yourself or like I said, tell me I'm nuts.
Yeah the polish flavor mafia 😁 it came out of nowhere for everybody I reckon. Will be some time before my next flavour order but regardless if it's in lemon tart or not, if it's a good one I'd be up for trying it!
I just googled the company name and it looks like they created a Facebook page in March of 2015. I'm not sure how old DLLT the e-liquid is. The theory is, the Chemnovatic and Sobucky line of flavors were only available for e-liquid manufacturers until recently. That could be way off, or accurate, or somewhat accurate. Like I said, I'm not really informed about all the Polish flavor companies and their histories. I thought they only had Inawera for years.
I definitely recommend CNV Lemon Cream Wafer. It does taste like it’s probably in DL Lemon Tart... But even if it’s not, it‘s still a tasty-as-hell, complex flavor. It’s even interesting enough to smoke as a solo vape sometimes. I was not equally impressed with Chemnovatic’s regular ol’ Lemon flavor. Some peeps got excited by it, but to me it was just another regular ol’ Lemon flavor. Guess I didn’t really need a 7th variation of a ‘nice’ Lemon flavor.
Being a sucker for a bargain, I also ordered up a bunch of SSA flavors (like you did). I’m actually pretty fuckin’ excited to give SSA Multi-Vitamin flavor a try!
I recently mixed up SSA / Sobucky’s Sour Lime flavor (@ 4%). It’s a nice Lime that leans closer to a Lime-ade than a natural Lime flavor. Because of the name... I was expecting a somewhat stronger Tart kick. As it turns out, there’s not alotta ’sour’ in Sour Lime. It’s not as tart or as organic as FA’s Lime Tahity flavors. However, there’s also nothing at all wrong with it - it’s a perfectly competent (and affordable) selection. Kinda like CAP Lime, SSA hangs out between the candy and the natural... Just a good, inexpensive Lo-Fi flavor.
For dinner the lemon was chemnovatic creamy lemon wafer
Sure, for the cookie or crust part. I made this thread as a possible match for the bright lemon flavor it has. I've got no feedback from anyone so who knows. Most DIYers probably have never even tried Dinner Lady Lemon Tart or even care to.
