Blueberry Cheesecake Ice cream
submitted almost 5 years ago by XxLXWKEYXx

I recently come up with this recipe but I’m unsure if I should mix it yet without anyone’s opinion

This is the recipe

FW Blueberry 8%

LB Vanilla ice cream 3.5%

TFA Bavarian cream 1%

TFA Cheesecake(Graham Crust) 2%

FW Graham cracker 1%

TFA sweetener(sucralose/maltol) 0.50%

Mix it! Only you can determine what flavors/notes appeal to you and what needs to be adjusted as you grow as a mixer. Good luck!

I'd experiment with INW Yes, We Cheesecake as well, it's stellar and takes little time to steep.

To boost the FW Blueberry, you have a number of options. TFA Blueberry (extra), FA Bilberry, and CAP Hibiscus all contribute nicely in their own way.

Hi. Go ahead and mix it, but don’t go overboard with a 120ml. Mix a tester in the size of max. 10ml. Shake it up and try it. It needs a steep, test it at different intervals.
You won’t be tasting much cheesecake though because TFA Cheesecake (Graham Crust) is mainly crust. Most don’t get any cheesecake from it, which is why something like INW Yes We Cheesecake is a great idea u/heimsins_konungr.

It doesn‘t sound bad - if I can give you a recipe of my own that is similar to yours that is one of the only recipes I created myself that I really love - Blueberry Cookie:

5% FW Blueberry (can be increased a little bit, too) 2.5% FA Cookie 1% TFA Vanilla Custard 0.5% TFA Vanilla Swirl 0.5% FW Marshmallow 1% FA Meringue (optional: 0.5% Super Sweet)

It‘s best when steeped for a week. It doesn‘t taste as good right after mixing, but still vape-able. It does get better with a good steep, though.

Careful with the LB vanilla ice cream, if you've used it before and had no issues then you're good, but for me it gives a pepper note that ruins it.

Any idea if this particular flavor has triacetin in it? I get wooden pencil shavings from that ingredient, but I can see how some could interpret it as pepper. Like the people that only get soap from cilantro, which I don't.

I'll have to look into it. I'm in need of a solid vanilla ice cream flavor that doesn't have triacetin.

I would use VSO Flavor blueberry at 4% it's the best natural blueberry

I am of the opinion that you first need to know how these flavors taste to you individually before you go and combine them into a recipe. If you don't know what they taste like, how can you reasonably expect any combination of them to turn out tasting good? If you are not willing to invest the time into SFTing your flavors, then just stick to mixing other people's recipes.
