HS Watermelon: (Not part of rankings) Doesn't taste at all like watermelon. Straight up rose candy. Sweet tarts. A little watermelon rind, cucumber which could really limit versatility. Would work mixed with gin.

FW Rose Tobacco: No tobacco. Not even any earthiness or dirtiness. Rose and lemon Pledge candy. Really candy sweet. Lemon hard candy made with Pledge spritzed with a bit of grandma's perfume.

FA Rose: The only flavour that has made Concrete throw up! Disturbing, weird, rotten meat, faecal element. Really does come across a bit like poo and sweet decay. Has a decent amount of body which is not a good thing. Like the same kind of thickness in the air around rotting meat. ID10-T thought it had something rotten about it, like dead, decomposing, rose petals. Does have some of the right floral notes on top.

A lot of FA florals are good, like FA Lavender and FA Jasmine.

EUR Rose: Really high floral perfumey note. Not purely rose. Has a hint of lilac or another purple-ish floral that pushes it further into perfumey territory. Has a little tartness, but not much. A little dry sweetness. But mostly prefume. Not rose candy, rose water or rose syrup like you'd want. But at least it's not poop!

TFA Rose Candy: ID10-T gets a concentrated rose syrup with a lot of lemon juice in it. Lemon isn't Pledge-y. High, floral rose that's just a little bit perfumey. Lemon tartness. Very, very sweet. A little harsh, but not too bad for a floral or lemon flavour. Nothing earthy about it. But is a strong, floral rose. Definitley a candy as so sweet. Would work at a low % with fruits or in cocktail mixes. Especially cocktails that have a lemon note. Or in a turkish delight recipe as it's already so sweet. Probably wouldn't be a good option for a baklava as it is too floral. Also wouldn't work for adding the slightest hint of rose. Tested at 2%. Very strong at that %.

VT Rose: Floral, perfumey rose top note. Has a bit of sweetness. Thick and pretty syrupy. At first Emily found it overly perfumey. But the more she vaped the base-y sweetness increasingly came through and balanced it out better. The top perfumey note mellowed. Although it is still a little perfumey.

CdD (Club Der Dampfer) Rose: Pretty intense rose flavour. Very sweet. A little tart, but not a lemon-y tartness. Like powdered citric acid tartness? Might be a good option for a Turkish delight mix? Would need a little powdered sugar and something to add that jelly candy base. Really good depth of flavour, has mid-range and lower notes. Not just the high floral top note. The top note isn't perfumey. More tart than it is perfumey. A little green and vegetal underneath. But fresh, not rotten like FA. Like it has a little bit of stem and petal. But could be covered in a mix as it's fairly faint. Or it may not be present if used below 2%? No darker earthiness. Seems like a good rose for a sweeter application. Or in a scenario where you need a more intense rose? It's very rose-y. Tested at 2%

FLV Rose Essence: Easily the best rose. Like watered down, sweetened rose water. Like the CAP Hibiscus or TFA Honeysuckle of roses. It's easy to work with, mellow, pleasant. Not a scary floral. A gentle, easy, gateway floral. The fact it tastes watered down makes it more usable. Primarily for mixing with fruits etc. rather than bakeries. Works really well with non-floral berries. Doesn't have a load of body. But it also isn't thin. Has a nice tartness without being too tart. Adds what a little splash of rose water would add to a cocktail. It can be a bit shy in a mix. But that isn't neccesarily a bad thing as rose is notoriously usually a bulldozer of a floral. It's very smooth, a bit sweet. Not harsh like a lot of florals. If you wanted rose a really bold rose flavour CdD Rose or TFA Rose Candy would be better options. Maybe EUR Rose if you're not concerned by the perfume-y note.

“How Noted Ruined My Sex Life“

I ordered FA Rose in my very first flavor order.

I wanted to help my wife get into DiY, and thought a Rose flavor might be a nice romantic move.

I chose FA Rose because it had the 2nd fewest disgusting adjectives on “Noted: Episode 75”.

(FLV had the 1st fewest, but I was too cheap for FLV back then)

So anyway we mixed it up & smoked our Rose... and we never ever had sex ever again.
