Love some commercial juice but are tired of paying someone else to mix for you? Then you are in the right place. First, did you use the sidebar and search feature? There are also specific clone threads linked in the sidebar. If these have turned up dry, then please post your request for a clone recipe here.
However, you should know that most of the experienced users no longer buy commercial juice. Why pay retail when you can mix amazing juice for less than 1/10th of that?
Be as descriptive as possible. Including the description provided by the vendor isn't a bad idea but you'll get better recommendations by describing what you taste. If you've already tried a clone recipe and it wasn't right, include a link to the recipe and describe what was different. The more information you provide, the easier it will be for someone to help you.
Read more on Clone Recipes and how to get he most out of your request.
Happy Mixing!
Please for the love of god would someone clone Naked 100 - Maui Sun! I've been trying for YEARS to clone this but I am absolutely terrible at cloning. I would pay GOOD money to anyone who can actually recreate this recipe. From all the recipes I've found online, the most commonly used flavors are:
-
Golden Pineapple (CAP)
-
Juicy Orange (CAP)
-
Sweet Tangerine (CAP)
-
Orange Mandarin (TPA)
-
Super Sweet (CAP)
My Maui Sun Flavoring Notes: At first hit you get a full mouth feel with a citrus flavor and almost sour note. On the exhale the mix really blends together for a great full mouth feel of citrus flavoring (Orange/Tangerine, which is felt in the throat), and pineapple. The Pineapple is subtle but definitely there behind the lines, and peaks through once again on its own at the end of the exhale.
I do find that Pineapple (TPA) had that chemical smell and flavor that I find in Maui Sun. I've also been told that Blood Orange (FW) would be a good missing link for the juiciness/citrus flavor.
Some other common flavorings for Maui Sun clones have been:
-
Tanger Mandarin (FA)
-
Pineapple (TPA) (Of course)
-
Pineapple Juicy (TPA) (I don't quite see this one but it's been tried)
-
Orange (Arancia) (FA)
I am going to try something a bit unconventional, I've ordered all the most commonly used flavors for all Maui Sun recipes I've found online. It's been said that humans on their own are terrible guessers, but as a group we are excellent at guessing things (like how many jelly beans are in a jar). I've added all the totals from all Maui Sun clone flavorings I've seen online, and I've taken the average that each flavor was used across all of those recipes. I'm going to try to mix up a batch using just the averages that everyone has used across the board (for the 6 most commonly used ingredients only), and see what happens. I will be sure to report back!
Instead of just mixing together the most commonly used flavors at the average percentages, you will end up having much better luck in the long run if you single flavor test (SFT) these flavors first. This process will take more time, but if you know exactly how the individual components taste to you first, you will end up with much better results when you try to combine them.
You know, I might try doing this again, but it's for the same reason that I suck at cloning. I've broken my nose so many times in my life that I'm just terrible at telling what something tastes/smells like. I could absolutely make an entire list of what I taste at base/middle/top notes for each flavor, but then, how do I know which ones will work together? And how do I choose which flavors to use as base/middle/top notes? I'm a bad cook and an even worse mixer, though it's not for lack of trying... I've been trying persistently for years.
Well there's still alot of trial and error in the cloning process. Some people have spent over a year trying to clone a specific juice. You just have to start combining the flavors that you can taste aspects of in the original juice. But if you take the flavors that taste best to you solo, and then combine them together, you could end up comimg up with something that is even better than the juice that you were trying to clone. So in that case you would have a re-mix as opposed to a clone.
Like you, have trouble tasting at times because of allergies or eating/drinking habits. You can look up other people's SFT's. There is a weekly thread which includes links to cross-reference by vendor and a Google sheet which also has links to flavor reviews. Or you can click on the link in the right margin for reviews (in regular browsers, it's viewable for certain).
Please if possible Beards “the one” apple and for the love of all that is good, Twist brand “frosted sugar cookie”. They both sound simple but can’t even get close. Thanks!
The one apple is my go-to and my personal unicorn for DIY right now. This morning I tried a small tester i made a month ago, and I think it's a good start. I found a strawberry the one clone recipe, and adapted that as best i could to the apple. Im still pretty new to this, so I only have like 50 flavors to work with, so...
I'm planning to mix up some variations this weekend to try to get it closer, but I can share what i have so far if you like.
I’d love to work on it with ya if possible. I’m up to about 150 and have come close in some but faaar in others. Also fairly new and find cloning difficult in bakery flavors.
Oh Holy cow, now I'm a little intimidated lol. 150? My first attempt I figure is a decent enough starting point. The apple was too high and pastry part too low and it was missing that sugary finish I love. But I lowered the overall apple from 4% to 2% and mixed it up a 60ml bottle anyway. Then i mixed up a few 10ml testers varying the % of one or two ingredients in each. I could dm you the links if you want to look them over?
Edit: Oh and I agree with you on the bakery flavors. Patience isn't one of my virtues and waiting 3 weeks for the flavors to come together for a proper taste is testing me lol.
Have you tried this?

Unfortunately I’m strawberry mute, so I’m looking for the apple flavor which I prefer the most
Does anyone know the juice Pearamel by Teardrip Juice Co? It’s caramel over cooked pears. It’s what I vape all day every day and it’s getting expensive. I am hopeless at mixing and if it was just caramel and pear I’d be fine but this stuff is so dam delicious and I’ve no idea why. Can anyone help please? Thanks.
This isn't DIY help, but the saveurvape website runs a lot of specials. Sign up for their newsletter and you can eventually catch Pearamel for $6.
They dont stock or sell Pearamel
Check Alltheflavors.com there's tons of Caramel Pear recipes on there... Some even named Pearamel. 👊
Thank you so much, I did not know. But guess where I am headed to right now! Thanks again 😊❤️
Your welcome! 😊 You can also check e-liquidrecipes.com for mixing recipes as well... I prefer ATF for the most part because it's a lil more refined/curated than ELR... It's not just a dump all for brainstorming recipes...
But the way I'm KylezKloudz on ATF.
Glad to help! Hope you find what your looking for... 👍👊
I had a look at all the flavours and I could only find one Pearamel and two caramel pear recipes. What am I doing wrong?
Maybe that's all there is... I haven't really checked. OR they could be under a totally different/crazy name for their recipe...
Go to flavors and look for the flavor you have that will bring up all the public recipes using that ONE flavoring... This might be a way to find more recipes especially ones that you can use that flavoring in
Looking for a good vanilla caramel custard recipe.
A good strawberry milk recipe would be great!

it’s the toasted coconut that I’m struggling to find, plus the whole blend is incredible. They have a few amazing flavours actually.
From website; Imagine coconut flakes sprinkled on strawberry and watermelon. This retro sweet is still sold at bake sales around the country, and continues to be all time favourite.
Flavour Profile
Inhale Watermelon, ripe strawberry
Exhale Coconut flakes
Pair with Pilsner or lager
I would be so incredibly happy if someone would clone Funkmaster Nanas. I've tried literally hundreds of juices and none can compare. It's supposed to be corn flakes cereal with bananas 🍌 I could die a happy person if this could be cloned especially if made into a salt juice so it could carry more nicotine than 6mg. I'd do so myself but I haven't even made an easy juice yet. I would continue buying it but they've went outta business unfortunately. Thanks guys and good luck!!!!
Ripe (borderline overripe?) real bananas or normal good real banana or more runty\candied? And I'm assuming it does, but does it have a milky finish to it or just creamy or just bananas and cereal?
Cap Cereal 27 is your cornflakes.
TPA Ripe Banana might be a good possibility seeing how WF and VT are so much more expensive...
TPA ripe is good, true to name with the exception of being a bit overripe imo. I've never mixed it with pur banana as that's one of the better realistic ripe bananas but I'd imagine it would make a nice combo. Also easy on the budget as they're about TPA price. I think this is a recipe you could probably do a better job with the milk\banana\cornflakes than commercial when it comes to really being close to the real thing.
Also don't be afraid to use wf! Same price as Capella usually ($1.99 for a small). That banana puree is quite good. VT I can't remember if it's their banana custard,I think it is, that's a pretty damn good banana. I'll almost never say this, but it's almost a shame it's in a custard base as it limits it's use a bit.
Thanks for telling me about the corn flakes juice. I appreciate it! *Yeah, the banana tastes like a normal banana. I figure that there's a creamy taste to it considering it's a cereal juice but I can't taste the cream to it.
Total shot in the dark here but, Lemon Cheesecake by Sir Vapes A Lot.
Also 33 degrees from Blackaxisjuice. Damn I miss them :(
Halo spearmint
FLV Spearmint
CAP SS
Is that it?
Halo tastes diff then all other spearmints I have tasted.
Taste more like mint leaves...or maybe toothpaste, but not spearmint gum of any kind.
So is flv spearmint a good spearmint for real leaf mint flavor?
And other recommendations with spearmint flavors if i wanna build my own spearmint.
Nothing gummy.
And thanks again!
I didnt figure it has super sweet in in cause it's nots sweet and my coils will last 4 or 5 weeks and my cotton will still not be dirty or black coils.
Dvarw
Halo uses alot of FW, so I'm saying FW spearmint... Unless your looking for Kringle's Kurse... https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/176113#kringle_s_curse_remix_by_xxbulldogirishxx
I'm pretty sure HIC has the recipe for Kringle's Kurse & it might be located in the list of clones thread on here...
I have his Twisted Java recipe and it's spot on! https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/26151#twisted_java_clone_halo_by_kylezkloudz
This is going to be a shot in the dark because the juice has been discontinued for so long... But, does anyone here have a clone recipe for Nick's Blissful Brews - FRO YO?
From research the juice is 70/30 VG/PG
I haven't had the juice in about 5 years but from memory flavour profile:
Flavour Profile
- Fresh, Sweet, earthy, juicy extremely natural blueberry
- Peach, maybe some apricot?, again extremely natural
- Mild creamy sweet yoghurt (not tangy at all, could even be milk/cream but not a custard/vanilla)
- Peach, maybe some apricot?, again extremely natural
- Definitely some Graham Cracker in there somewhere
The thing about this juice is that everything tastes very natural, there's no candy element to any of the fruit even though the juice was very sweet. It might potentially have a cooling agent in it.
FA Bilberry maybe mixed with FW Blueberry? CAP Creamy Yogurt or FW Yogurt CAP Yellow Peach TPA Juicy Peach or White Peach FW Graham Cracker or TPA Graham Cracker Clear
I know this is supposed to be a DIY thread, but a quick google search led me to the conclusion that Fro yo has been rebranded as Marina Vape - Blueberry Milkshake Man, if you wanted to try and refresh your memory.
Let's get old school, does anyone remember E-Joker from backwoods brew? All I can think is that it tasted like Christmas.
“Blue magic” by glas basix. I absolutely love this juice but I would like to make it more affordable. This is the flavor description from the website: Blue Magic by Glas E-Liquid is a recreated glazed blueberry scone fresh out the oven paired with a dollop of rich vanilla ice cream to create a delectable dessert vape that will leave the taste buds salivating
I've been searching for a recipe for Milkman's Heritage Gold. It has been impossible to find it here in Brazil, sold out almost everywhere. It was my very favourite from them.
This tobacco flavoured juice had a honey and cream taste to it, according to the juice descriptions, but personally, I think I felt some rum and oak barrel tones in it as well, that juice transported me to some kind of tobacco club, had a very rich flavour.
I'm thinking of trying to do something similar with these flavours:
- RY4 Double (TPA)
- Cubano (TPA)
- Jamaican Rum (TPA)
- Black Honey (TPA)
- Bavarian Cream (TPA)
- Red Oak (TPA)
Not sure about the quantities I should try, but I had some nice success using 3.33% RY4 Double and 2.67% Cubano in other tobacco juices I've made. I've recently started again to make my own e-liquids for personal use due to covid-19, so I'm a little bit rusty.
Anyone remember this juice? Am I missing something? I would love to hear your ideas.
I'm about to order some of the flavours I'm missing, so suggestions are welcome!
I brewed a test juice today, and it tastes promising!
I'm gonna let it steep for 2 weeks, but I vaped a few ml, and it has the profile I was looking for, a little faint for now, but it should improve over time, hopefully.
Here's the link to the recipe I came up with, if anyone is interested:

Currently, my favorite juices are:
"Milk of the Poppy" by Vapetasia
"Killer Custard" by Vapetasia
"Killer Custard Strawberry" by Vapetasia.
"Blue Raspberry" by IVG
"Strawberry Sensation" by IVG

Has anyone found out how to one or some of these flavors? Or something that tastes related to? I would really appreciate it. I've tried so many different mixes and they all turned out totally wrong :(
