Solo Flavor Tastings [SFT]
submitted about 5 years ago by RancerDS

Week 74

Hello DIY'ers and welcome to another weekly post of "Try as you might" and "What was the result?". For those of you unfamiliar with what we're using this for... it's about how you perceive various single/solo flavor concentrates from whichever vendor. You can say it's horrible, you could even say why... or you can give it a pass or thumb's up or even a short lil blurb about what percentage you'd mixed into it and if it was MTL/RL/DL. Maybe even give it a shout-out if it's good enough to replace another ingredient in a recipe.

EXAMPLE (from /u/babblysponge last week):

>I really like FA Up and FA Wow and while I haven't tested them per se I am very familiar with how they taste. I mix them both at 3% in an 80/20 VG/PG mix. [SNIP]

If you're wanting their complete comment, feel free to visit via this link.

This isn't for making/reading full on reviews of various flavors. You'll find them here: Reviews Yet you can go into as much detail as you'd like to let someone what they'd be getting.

TFA cantaloupe @ a smidgen under 7%

Haven't had actual cantaloupe in many years but it tastes kind of like I remember it I think? Not floral in any way and I noticed none of the dryness others have mentioned. Held its flavor well over an almost 2 week steep. I just mixed it in a recipe by /u/pineappleclock that I altered and will give it a whirl in a few days.
