As always, the purpose of this thread is to gather the community to explore a category of flavor and its many uses. And it's also to have FUN!
Post recipes containing this week's Flavor of the Week, as the star or in a supporting role, with or without development notes. Talk about other people's recipes that use it. Compare and contrast different manufacturers' versions of the FOTW. Ask for help using that flavor in general or to achieve something specific, offer advice, brainstorm ideas, consider substitutions, suggest pairings... really anything at all as long as it's on topic.
#This week, this is also where you can comment to win the Tobacco Flavor Pack ($70 value!) from Flavorah.
This pack includes all these wonderful FLV Tobaccos: Sweet & Smokey, Sweet Cigarette, Arabian, Cavendish, Classic Cigarette, Commercial Cigarette, Connecticut Shade, Cured, Kentucky Blend, Native, Oriental, Pucker, Red Burley, Tatanka, Turkish, and Virginia.

Good timing! Last month i started to get into bacco's a little (thnx /u/isuamadog) so this weeks profile will fit right in.
When i transitioned from analog cancersticks to vaping i didnt want to do bacco's for fear of relapsing into stinkies. Fast forward a year later and i'm down to get into it a little.
So, last month in dusted of my FA SoHo and went to town.
ChocHo Time
|Co.|Flavor|%| |:-|:-|:-| |VTA|Devon Cream|2| |FA|Soho|6|
Notes
Twist on the famous Soho Time.
Lowered the % a bit and swapped FA Merengue for VTA Devon Cream.
The Devon Cream boosts the bitter end note of the Soho and bends it into a chocolate note. Goodness ensures

Banger right there, recipes do not need to be complicated to be great!

Moving on, i've been working on my own version of an RY4, but with apple as the base.
After the big succes i've had with the Simple Apple Shisha (hookah) i wanted to expand on it and see where i could take it. I'm now at a point where i'm pretty comfortable with where it's at, so lets get into it:
TB4
|Company|Flavor|%| |:-|:-|:-| |INW|Bahraini Apple Gold|3| |PUR|Country Apple|3| |VTA|Devon Cream|1| |FA|Soho |2|
Notes
The Bahraini + PUR Country Apple combo is just so good, i've borrowed it from my Simple Apple Shisha recipe.
The Devon Cream Soho combo just works well with this, boosting the bacconess, adds some nuttyness and some chocolate hints.
After some tests i've decided to doe Devon+Soho as a stand-alone recipe called ChocHo Time
The apple combo works so well with all these flavors that it's blends into one big apple bacco flavor.
No need for CAP Super Sweet or WS-23, leave this as is with no additives.
Can be an easy shake and vape, time will only blend it more into one.

These recipes all flow from one another, one made another possible and so on.
I hope you guys will test these and enjoy them as much as i enjoy them.
Good luck on doing all the SFT works Noted Crew!
While thematically relevant, your Apple shisha journey deserves a front page post with all your history in it, plot twists and dramatic turns imo. Can you please work your magic u/Apexified and make this guy do it?
You want me to do stuff huh
I want you to consider it. How about we start there? I love the shisha recipe. I am buying a new SoHo today because I can’t find it and this is ridiculous; I want to try both of these. The way you describe choco time has me by the ear. But really I think the Apple shisha base is baller. Fantastic on its own, so much potential to be customized (as you’ve done) and I know you tried a bunch to get it to this, much like staybert’s soda journey. All I’m saying is, it deserves front page love. Great recipe, and thanks for sharing.
This is a fairly weird profile. Dessert tobaccos that aren't RY's? OK...
Here's what I've got lined up for this week:
- FLV: Sweet & Smokey, Sweet Cigarette
- FA: SOHO
- TFA: Black Honey
- LB: Butterscotch Graham Tobacco, Sweet Pipe Tobacco
- EF: Tobacco Vanilla Custard, Tobacco Chocolate
- CBV: C4 Blend Sweet Dark Honey
- CdD: Tabak No. 1, Tabak No. 245
- FW: Butterscotch Tobacco, Chocolate Tobacco, Rum Tobacco, Peach Tobacco, Honeywood Tobacco
- NV: Sweet Tobacco
- INW: Sweet Tobacco
I tried that CBV C4 a few weeks ago. It tastes like honey with a doughy cinnamon note to me but I couldn’t find any tobacco taste in my mtl setup. I‘m hyped for Fa Soho tho, should arrive tomorrow. The guys on the discord regularly go crazy about it!
I can't find any tobacco in Soho, either. It's interesting, in a good way, it tastes like it was made to be mixed with tobacco, just no tobacco actually in it.
I see an order in my future...
Sweet cigarette is one of my favorites. It can be used to temper other spicier baccos pulling closer to the sweeter side without losing heft. I think that and hs ry1 are great for that. 1-1.5 sweet cig or 3% ry1 + anything Flv is a great base starter for a bacco vape.
The Gindra's has a fairly prominent chocolate note if that counts
3 flavours and a total of 3.5% only, but it's very flavourful
I’m still just starting getting into tobacco and I’m going to go with Fear’s combo 0.25% FLV Kentucky Blend and 0.75% FLV Red Burley plus whatever you like. I came up with this, looks interesting on paper.
DIYFS Holy Vanilla 1%
FLV Root Beer 5%
CAP Super Sweet 0.25%
FLV Kentucky Blend 0.25%
FLV Red Burley 0.75%
Along the lines of Fear’s combo, FA Soho can be used the same way. Soho Time (SNV New Skool Tribeca type) plus whatever you like. Soho is such an easy way to get people into tobacco who aren’t sure they want to just yet.
The only ones i have ever experimented with is FLV sweet and smoky and sweet cig. Both excellent tobacco flavors. Apple of Eden
Bless you for going for the black honey lol. That is just an odd flavor and I will definitely be looking forward to seeing how you feel about it. EF Tobacco vanilla custard is a good one, needs some bakery to back it up. Unless its just a realistic custard n I've just never had a good one lol.
I havent found any good ones for single flavor dessert tobacco but there are some good mixes like Silk Road and there was a decent custardish one I tried but I forget the name of it.
Anyone else spot the sweet typo in the Flavour Pack description? ☺️
Well, now they won't, because I fixed it.
Jeez, I just have had a seizure while typing that.
Though it has Ruyan in the name, I'd like to plead the case that WF Vanilla Ruyan Custard is less of an RY4 than Soho and belongs on this list. It is a smoky vanilla that lacks the caramel of a classic RY4. FLV Smoked Butterscotch fits here, as well . . . maybe FA Glory.
I wonder if anyone has made a tobacco pudding or a tobacco ice cream?
I did a "from scratch" RY4 crossed with eyemakepizza's Trinity Vanilla Ice Cream several months ago . . . https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/179000#trinity_x_ry4_by_lonesomerhodestn
Definitely going to be keeping an eye on this! I've been struggling to find juices for my 70 year old father who is super picky about what he vapes. He's cut down to 3-4 cigs a day (from a pack a day) which is great but I'd love to find some stuff that he might enjoy enough to quit smoking completely. Unfortunately he thinks cigarettes taste better than any juice he's tried so far.
I mentioned this recipe in another comment I left on this thread (I promise they’re not paying me!) but maybe he’d like ‘the Gindra’s’? It’s not a sweet, deserty tobacco so maybe he’d prefer that if switching from smoking? It’s pretty easy to add a bit more tobacco flavour by increasing the % of the Red Burley and Sweet and Smokey a little. My friend liked bolder tobaccos when I was trying to get him to stop smoking- I think cos his tastebuds are shot. So I would add a bit more if making it for him. Plus it’s only 3 ingredients, so easy and cheap-ish for you to make.

I haven’t used tobaccos much aside from Obsidian one shot but I did have a mix I liked when out drinking. It’s not my original recipe and I don’t remember who I got it from to give credit. I used TPA French Vanilla Deluxe but in the original used cap. FA SoHo 8% FLV Red Burley 0.75% TPA French Vanilla Deluxe 1% I’ve heard flavorah tobaccos are better than most and I’d love that pack to try them out. By the way huge thank you to Flavorah and Noted crew. I won the giveaway a couple weeks ago. Amazing prize. Thanks again.
I absolutely love WF Vanilla Ryuan Custard. Even though it has RY in the name, this reminds me nothing of a RY4 or a custard ,but It's a absolutely delicious smooth vanilla with a pretry nice tobacco note. I like to vape this at about 5% as a stand alone. I haven't had any luck mixing with it as of yet.
I really should order some tobacco flavors but been too busy with the 2419841 others i've already ordered TBH. If i could find a clone recipe for Oregon Vapor - Sinful i'd be all over it but i dont even know where to start with "butternut tobacco". Anyone have any ideas?
Can you describe what the "butternut" tastes like? FW has a flavor called Vanilla Butternut, but apparently it actually tastes more like maple syrup. If the juice tastes at all like maple, there's a chance they just mixed FW Vanilla Butternut with some tobacco (and apparently cinnamon bakery?) and were lazy at writing the description.
Also please edit the link out of your comment, links to things that contain nicotine are against the rules.
Link removed. Sorry!
I dont really taste any maple in it but my palate kinda sucks. Really havent found anything that similar. Closest "other" retail juice i've found has been Cuttwood Sugar Drizzle but with more spice to it. Oregon Vapor makes an RY5 juice as well so it could be they used that as a base but then mixed in cinnamon.
Honestly, i havent vaped a lot of tobacco juices. Last one i tried was the Glas Butterscotch one and wasnt really impressed.
Wish i could send like 10mls to you mixologists for your thoughts/advice.
Tobacco flavors have never really appealed to me, but honestly I haven’t tried any. I’ve been thinking about trying something like Obsidian from DIYorDie, but I’m kinda worried I’m going to hate it. Hopefully this episode with help me figure out which ones I should try.
Soho is nice and sweet. It lends that sweetness to so many different profiles. I would say not truly in your face tobacco but can bond to so many tobacco's, fruits, desserts, & bakery's. After mixing it into a few polar opposite recipes I had no choice but to order a 120ml.
White chocolate tobacco. I first tried this years ago when MtBakerVapor gave a free sample with orders. I use Flavorwest East Coast tobacco and white chocolate.
I started vaping 11 years ago with a "Marlboro" eliquid. Tobaccos are still my top flavors!
Good ole Mount Baker, this place was my go to back in 2014. This place was a life saver back then buying 30mls for 25 bucks was out of my price range. Mount Bakers 8 dollar 30mls where right up my ally. Only problem was the quality control seriously started lacking.
I have been vaping for almost 7 years now and I still love my tobacco flavors. I have 14 of them so far. The only ones that I can think of that are sweet are Pur Sweet tobacco, FLV Cavendish and FLV Sweet and Smokey. The only one that's any good is the Sweet and Smokey. My favorite recipe is by Wayne called Space Jam Eclipse remix. Love me some good custard and tobacco
A non RY4 "desserty" tobacco:
Ingredient|% :---|---: Am4A (INAWERA)|2.00 Black Honey (TPA)|3.26 Leafy Tobacco (Flavor Revolution)|2.50
Flavor total: 7.76%
I tested out PUR Sweet Tobacco.
It was kind of strange as a single flavor.
It was somewhere in between light and dark, with a good body. It had quite a bit of nuttyness to it. Somewhere between a peanut and a hazelnut.
Over all it wasn't a bad tobacco. I could see this going very well in a RY4 type mix.
Out of the list FA Soho is my favorite, but I wouldn't call it a tobacco personally. I don't get any tobacco notes from it.
