What an odd selection of flavors for your first order. How did you choose these?

I approached the order the same way I approach building a base for any cocktail program I build from scratch. Start with familiar flavors, get a baseline, and from there branch out. For example, I picked up the pineapple, milk, and champagne to mimic a clarified punch I’ve made in the past. I went beverage focused as that’s what I know inside and out and figured a second order could be a week away or less if I needed to add more conventional mixers, which in my case will probably be some more creams and desserts. But thanks for the recipe that sounds like it is right up my alley.
Yeah, flavors don’t work like that. You don’t buy flavors based off their names alone. Take TFA Pineapple for example, it’s just gross. FLV Pineapple, INW Pineapple, or CAP Golden Pineapple would have been a better choice. I heard some good things about VT Pineapple Juice and VT Sugarloaf Pineapple. I read the flavor review for TFA Dairy Milk and I wasn’t impressed but works with another milk or cream. Best thing is to check out ATF and sort by ’rating’, find a recipe that looks good to you then buy those flavors
When you are a new mixer you should buy flavors to mix a couple well rated/reviewed recipes. You need to gain experience before you can start crafting your own recipes. This is done by single flavor testing (SFT) to get to know what these flavors taste like to you. Flavor names can be seriously misleading, and some of the flavors that you bought are going to end up being thrown in the garbage because they taste nothing like whatever their name is. Start reading flavor reviews to pick the new flavors that you want to try.
