Alright, I know the vape tongue topic is one of the most discussed, but whatever I try nothing works really or it's just for a drip or two or it just gets gross (if I mix it with something strong, like menthol for example).
I have various juices - some tobaccos, fruits, creams. I drink A LOT of water (about 3 litres), but I just can't taste anything beside the nicotine (2.5 - 3mg) and its yucky, leaving me thirsty with hot/dry taste. The only juice I can barely taste is VV's Pinkman and that's it. Weird. That's been for weeks and it just leaves me sad. I think the vape heat is the problem, but then again - I use TC and I work in office so it shouldn't be a problem in theory. It happens with warm drinks too to some point, when I think about it.
Anyone experiencing this? Is there anything I can do to fix it?
That's really odd considering you stay hydrated and switch flavors. Only other thing that comes to mind is Covid19 can cause loss of taste and smell, but I assume you can still taste your food. Maybe try a different tank or coils.
Ah, I get that all the time. I’ve got like billions/ gazillions gallons of juice mixed up and sometimes I just feel like everything tastes like crap. Mix up some nice mint with vanilla bean and give it time.
As I said, strong flavors (mint, menthol, sweets) are leaving me with gross flat taste. It's weird even the Koolada doesn't have any affect, which I specifically left for the summer, since it's too chilly for me otherwise lol.
I hate koolada...that stuff mutes everything anyways. Always made juices taste like cold cardboard to me. WS-23 and FA Polar Blast (basically the same thing) are much better. Though they're just stronger versions of the same thing.
Try vaping unflavored for a solid 3 days. Works for me. After that everything tastes great again.
For me, a few sips of beer and I'm tasting my juices again. I'll make 120ml since I'm both DIY and lazy. You get taste blind (edit: olfactory overload if we're being technical) to juices doing this. Since it's summer I usually have Summer Shandy in the fridge so I'll pop one open and the lemon will pop that flavor right back in.
I can't believe no one has said this yet. Go buy some antihistamines. If you lose your sense of taste during a season, it's seasonal allergies.
If those don't work, try a nasal steroid like Flonase.
Go see an allergist and talk to them about immunotherapy after an allergy test.
That's a very good point. Thank you, sir! I have never even considered this, but it makes so much sense since it's not only about vape juices but any liquids in general do taste quite flat if at all. After a research another thing I see it could be related to my anemia too.
Hey bud! Just here to reassure you that all is fine as long as you don't taste non-metallic tastes as metallic. Vitamin intake changes a bit based on season and intake/deficiency of vitamins changes our tastebuds' perception. You're perfectly fine, probably just the abundance of Vitamin D you're getting!
You’re dying.
Thank you.... I’ve not laughed all day and this made me spit my tea out it was so funny. I am 100% sorry but it was just so f#c€*n funny I couldn’t help it. Thank you so much, I needed that.
Something that has worked for me around this topic. I use 3core aliens in my mech all day, and def feel you when it gets really hot all I can taste sometimes is the ws23 in my mix and the nic. If I switch it up and use my profile1.5 with the "turbo" mesh in it on the regulated topside the mesh puts off better flavor at a lower temp, I feel like it helps bring back my sense of taste after using the big hot aliens
