I'll be making these and the specific flavors with my tongue....I can't afford to try every banana, pineapple, coconut, cherry and apple out there! So people with these taste obstacles please suggest what you use for the specific flavors of each of the following!
Pina Colada Ice (I'm going to make U-ID10s version 2 I think that's what it's called?)I want a nice thick creamy rich coconut with mouth watering pineapple all frozen at about -15below....I know heavy thick creamy ICE cold coconut... like those frozen fruit bars...but pineapples pull chemicals to me..the one in MauSun from Naked does NOT...
Bubblegum Ice -strawberry,banana&cherry are the flavors of syrup I combine to make a classic pink bubble gum Italian soda or milkshake...but since those can't be Vaped& I can't for the life of me find out what concentrates Torani uses....I pick up chemicals from almost every Cherry and plastic from most bananas...Strawberry Mute so...I'm gonna try U-ID10-T's strawberry one for the other strawberry Mute on here(can't believe I just heard this is a thing!)
and FINALLY Red's Apple Iced clone...this last one is my conversion flavor, fall back, ADV if I was limited to one...I currently rotate between a tropical ice and this... apples usually don't pull anything for me but if anyone who tastes chemicals/plastic easily has any 'stay away from' suggestions-I'll listen!
I know these look like recipe requests....but I don't need the recipes I just need to find the specific brand flavors to accommodate my 👅
Smoothest Nic Salt Brand...I know where to buy it and what I want...but who has the smoothest....
Hi there, I’m pretty new to DIY myself, and I have a lot of the same issues. For strawberry, I know it is expensive but you don’t use a lot and I have had fantastic luck with alpine strawberry, especially if I add some 27 fish by cap to it. I do alpine at 1% and 27 fish at .30%. Works wonders for this strawberry mute, esp if you throw a little super sweet in there. I have similar issues with being a pepper taster and many creams taste awful to me. Still working on that one, you didn’t ask for this but INW yes we cheesecake is one of the only heavy/creamy flavors that tastes wonderful to me. I also get chems from pineapple, and a lot of tropical fruits, cap sweet mango is one of the few I can do well.
Thanks a million! I am gracious for all tops I don't ask for...cheese cake is a great cream for me because all other cream bases generally taste like pepper & sugar...that's why I love coconut cream...NEVER tastes like pepper! I actually was thinking of doing a bit of cheesecake, some of the Graham crust, and some blackberry!
Can’t recommend yes we cheesecake enough. I have had no luck with cap NY cheesecake, it has the most disgusting chemical taste to me, and not a fan of tfa graham cheesecake either. I was about to give up and tried that on a recommendation. It’s freaking awesome. Their custard is more tolerable too, but I have to use it in small percentages or it gets weird. Good luck!
I'm in a similar boat as you and u/No_Sea_9909. Though keep in mind that our flavor perception may still differ. I have not tried any of the eliquids you mentioned. Be aware that trying to clone is a rabbit hole, especially at the start of your journey. It would require a huge amount of research, trial and error at your own expense.
I have tried a majority of strawberry's and I can confirm FLV Alpine works wonders. And I'm roughly on the same page with everything else said by No_Sea. INW Shisha Strawberry, FA Red Touch and RF Strawberry may be worth a try too. I'm yet to try JF Strawberry, but heard it can work for some folk.
I have not tried a lot of pineapples, but CAP Golden Pineapple has served me well. I recently acquired VTA Sugar-loaf Pineapple on a recommendation, which doesn't smell that great from the bottle, but vapes very nice like sweet canned pineapple juice with a hint of gummy bear and more body than CAP's Golden. Both worth a try at least. INW Pineapple is highly recommended too, though I have not tried yet.
I haven't had too many coconuts as I could instantly settle on FA Coco. FLV Sweet Coconut is great at lower percentages too, tho its a bit more milky where FA is more fleshy. FLV has a bit more body upfront, but both are mostly tail-end aroma's in my experience, depending on the mix.
Ah, Banana's. I been chasing this profile for close to a year now. The most realistic I've found is MB Soft Banana. It's sweet, perfectly ripe, however, even if it has some body it's a bit subtle and you will get most of the sensation from the aroma on the tail end. There's WF Banana Puree, which is very similar with a butyric twist to it that brings it to the front a bit more. VTA Banana Custard is great, but more of a banana cream with a little spice, suited for bakery type recipes. A little LA Banana Cream can work wonders, though it has less cream than the previously mentioned VTA BC. It's runty with a hint of realistic unripe flesh. Most other banana's are very runty, chemically artificial candy types or have unripe, peel notes to them.
As for apple there's a lot of great ones out there. Comes down to preference I'd say. FA Fuji is a no brainer. Bright, tangy, juice box flavor. CAP Double Apple has a little darker, ripe red apple vibe added. Though as my experience with some CAP flavors in general I can see this one being perceived as chemically a little bit. INW Two Apples is similar to that, but a little darker, more red, ripe, realistic, fleshy.
I don't have any bubblegum flavorings, but I do know that VTA Shisha Blackcurrant can turn a mix into a bubblegum without being too artificial at 1.5 - 2.5%.
Cherry's I have no clue about. A search of this subreddit would likely yield some good results though. As far as I know, there are only very few decent cherry flavorings out there. Many are prone to tasting chemical like cough syrup.
I can't help with your request for where to buy the smoothest nic salts either, but it would help to mention where you are located.
Hope that helps a little, good luck.
P.S: The majority of flavor you get from vapor is not perceived by your tongue. It's picked up by your olfactory gland in your nasal cavity and it only really senses the changes in air particles.
Any recipe from ID10-T is bound to be good. I've had good luck with PurNic salts. Their freebase not so much. Combine WS-23 with Polar Blast for enhanced cooling. I can't help you with the rest. Good luck.
Me too, I don't much care for their freebase. I like their salts though. Them and liquid nic wholesalers salts have been good for me. I love Carolina xtracts freebase, but I got some salts from them once that weren't great. At the time I had both theirs and some from river Supply, I ended up using the one from Carolina to make liquid for my friends and used the other for personal. I was very disappointed.i have had decent results with Delosi as well, but have only used them once. Needed nic quick and it was around Black Friday when you don't dare buy and expect quickly from River Supply.
