'What are you vaping?' Thread - Week of August 3, 2020
submitted about 5 years ago by c5b4c91772c729fc7d0a

This thread is for you to share what you are vaping lately, be it your own or another mixers recipe. Maybe you happened to stumble upon your new ADV in the August Recipes Thread? Or did someone recommend your first mix to you in the Suggest a recipe for my flavors Thread

Share what you liked or didn't like too much, but most importantly, please make sure to properly link to the recipe and to the mixer if they're on reddit.

If you need some inspiration, some websites keep track of your mixes and batches: e-Liquid Recipes and All The Flavors.

Also make sure to checkout last week's thread for inspiration or to follow up on a mix that turned out even better after a week of steeping! We keep an archive of all the past threads in our wiki as well

Happy Vaping!

Are you going to be like MikeVapes in having an entire buffet? :)

Yes, definitely yes 😁 I'm on my way as it is.... My friend gave me like 4 of her liquids she got from Vape Wild. Those are just backups, but I have like 9 or 10 other liquids in my tactical bag. I've got 5 builds currently in rotation with a vapocalypse setup just in case and 3 Rincoe setups getting sent to me soon. So again, yes 😜

/u/ID10-T snickerdoodle, altered: add 1.5% Caramel, 1.5% Brown sugar/brown sugar extra, and replace the 3% Cinnamon Danish Swirl with FLV Rich Cinnamon at 2%

I find most cinnamons have a more "spicy" flavor where the FLV Rich Cinnamon has more of a bakery flavor. "Spicy" ones have their place, but for a cookie recipe, I want the cinnamon that says "bakery."

2% Rich Cinnamon? Are you sure you don’t mean 0.2%?

Nope. 2%

It steeps for a good 3 weeks before I vape it (1 week just doesn't usually cut it for cinnamon-based flavors, imo, but YMMV), but I also prefer my flavors to be strong enough to taste--especially in max VG since I don't use PG at all (except for the small amount in the flavors themselves) because I'm sensitive to PG. I also cut the sugar cookie down to 5%

Percentage comes out about the same and to me, it has more of a bakery flavor than a 'spice' flavor, especially if you let it steep long enough for the flavors to really mellow and come together.

This fucking delicious Swedish Fish recipe

And a Wintergreen that tastes just like the mints using this recipe with ~8% TFA Wintergreen instead of 3% and 1% CAP Super Sweet. It's super strong which I like but I'm gonna try and ease back on the flavoring til I find the sweet spot (pun intended).

Both mixed at 2mg

I was actually planning to mix that swedish fish today, was wondering if it would be ok to swap Sucralose 10% with either Super Sweet (Cap) or sweetener (TPA)

Super sweet is exactly what I use! Use half the recommended percentage since super sweet is 20% sucralose.

I'm loving MF Rose 1.5% + Mint 0.3% right now, and I think it wants a citrus to be absolutely perfect. Any suggestions for which of lime or lemon would work better?

1 points

by Creepynewguyinavanabout 5 years ago

Lemon would suit better, maybe even lemongrass.
