Clone Request Thread - August 2020
submitted about 5 years ago by AutoModerator

Love some commercial juice but are tired of paying someone else to mix for you? Then you are in the right place. First, did you use the sidebar and search feature? There are also specific clone threads linked in the sidebar. If these have turned up dry, then please post your request for a clone recipe here.

However, you should know that most of the experienced users no longer buy commercial juice. Why pay retail when you can mix amazing juice for less than 1/10th of that?

Be as descriptive as possible. Including the description provided by the vendor isn't a bad idea but you'll get better recommendations by describing what you taste. If you've already tried a clone recipe and it wasn't right, include a link to the recipe and describe what was different. The more information you provide, the easier it will be for someone to help you.

Read more on Clone Recipes and how to get he most out of your request.

Happy Mixing!

This is going to be really hard to work with so apologies in advance.

I recently remembered a juice I really liked in 2017 that's no longer available. I contracted the manufacturer who was wasn't willing to share the recipe even though it's discontinued (fair enough) so perhaps I might be able to recreate/remix it.

It's called Baffin Cloud by Lazy Bear Vaping Co (own brand of Ecigwizard) and here's the vendor description:

>Baffin Cloud is like taking your tastebuds on a walk through a wood full of juicy forest fruits. this succulent e-juice is a refreshing blend of freshly picked blackberries, Baffin Cloud's a seriously delicious all day vape.

If I remember correctly it tasted like really juicy (wet mouthfeel) blackberries with maybe a hint of a red fruit (maybe raspberry) with a slight tartness.

Any advice on flavours to start with greatly appreciated.

I'd look at FA forest fruit and TFA blackberry first and foremost. Maybe a bit of TFA pear for wetness.

Something like:
2.5-3% forest fruit
1% blackberry
1% pear

2 points

by isuamadogabout 5 years agoRenaissance Mixer

I second this combination. If the blackberry is too strong you can dial it down to 0.5 and still taste it. I wouldn’t be surprised if the original was fw yumberry (probably fructose) or cap harvest berry but Fa forest fruit is a much better flavor. Also, fm blackberry might also be an improvement. And lastly the original is likely 2% cap supersweet so this would probably also be more berry flavor that you remember and less sweet overall.

So i am going out on a whim because i just typically make other people's recipes, but from the description alone i would play around with FA forest fruits (or FA forest mix, same thing). This could be a good start. If you don't like Forest fruit, maybe try CAP Harvest fruits even.

For juiciness, you could try INW cactus, FA pear, CAP cucumber, and maybe TPA dragonfruit. I would suggest keepin the percentages below 1%.

Nice thanks, I'm going to play around with your suggestions and some recipes I think are similar and hopefully come back with something workable by the end of the month.

If anyone can point me in the direction of the aniseed flavour used in T-Juice red astaire, I've tried 2 7 fish, but the flavour doesn't agree with me.

3 points

by RoninVXabout 5 years ago

What's the anise like? Sticky and bittersweet? If so, likely INW's Anise

2 points

by Hate_Feightabout 5 years ago

Subtly aromatic, its mixed with ws23(coolant) and red berries it's an exhale spice

3 points

by RoninVXabout 5 years ago

In that case I highly recommend INW's Anise. I've personally never tried the juice you mentioned, but INW Anise has a delicious exhale and is what I personally add at 0.1% to a few of my cooling juices to prevent them from giving me olfactory fatigue. I say give it a shot. FA Anise might also work for you, but I've heard it adds a feeling of licorice which might not be what you're after.

INW Anise at 0.1%/0.05% should do the job for you! Good luck!

2 points

by MindsEye_69about 5 years ago

It's inw anise. 99.99% certain. I've tried many. And considering it's date of creation, odds are very high that it's INW.

Looking for a juicy juice brand fruit punch vape. U know the stuff. The most incredible of juices as a kid. Pretty upfront juicy apple, complimented by velvety , strong grape juice with maybe a hint of pair? I've tried a couple times and just can't get the "juice" taste. I end up with a decent mixed fruit, but not what I'm after. Run to your local grocery store, get u a small jug and taste it. It's amazing and I would love to be able to vape it. Thanks for your help.

FA Fuji 3%
CAP concord grape w/ stevia 2%
FA pear 1.5%

Should present wet enough with the FA pear, FA Fuji just tastes like straight Mott's apple juice and the CAP concord is pretty authentic but lacks body, which in this case might be a boon. If you want white grape instead of red go PUR white grape at like 3.5%

Warped Vapors Clones?

Seems they have either gone out of business or revamping into week 2 now. Either way need to explore options, been thinking about DIY for a while now. Any chance someone has tried Void and Sol and made a good clone for it?

Thanks in advance

Void - great mix of blueberries raspberries açai and pomegranate

Sol - just strawberry watermelon passion fruit with a little cooling not menthol. But better than most strawberry watermelon juices less chemical artificial more real flavour .

I tried searching on some of the recipe sites but man thats a lot of info :0

3 points

by RoninVXabout 5 years ago

Your description of Sol including the "more real" leads me to believe it is FA Red Touch, FA Red... Summer? (Sic, I'm not sure but both Red bla blahs are strawberry and watermelon) and as for passionfruit I'm willing to wager it might be FA too since their flavours tend to be fairly realistic... However, I don't personally touch passionfruit so you might wanna check some of the reviews first. FA = Flavour Art

I'm just DYING for a clone of "Mega Milk" -the manufacturer's description is dead on. "Wheat Flakes and fresh Strawberries soaked in cold milk." Now cold doesn't mean there's any menthol or cooling that I can detect, it simply tastes like the most amazing cereal milk! You can really taste the wheat flakes with just a hint of delicious strawberry. I would be willing to send out a remaining bottle (0nic) I have to someone who can help clone this recipe. It's truly the most delightful e-liquid I've ever tasted. At $20/100ml it's not the cheapest either. Mega Milk is produced by Mega Milk. It's their only flavor, and I see why, it's amazing!

by Foment_lifeabout 5 years agoSeto Kaiba

Probably pretty straightforward.

Some combination of
CAP cereal 27
CAP sweet strawberry or TFA strawberry ripe if it's not oversweet/candyish OoO cream milky undertones
Maybe a little TFA Bavarian cream to round it out
FW sweetener or CAP super sweet to taste

Ballpark:
3% cereal 27
2% sweet strawberry
2.5% milky undertones
1.5% Bav cream
0.5% sweetener of choice

You are a legend, thank you sir! I'll give it a shot on my next order!

That is, of course a quick speculative mix. There might be room to improve on that idea. FW hazelnut and FA meringue are both good adds for cereal/cereal milk recipes. To help sell the grainy stuff in milk aspect.

Still looking for a clone of Pineapple White Tea by Keystone. It was my first ADV, I haven't had much luck with my meager attempts at cloning it.

1 points

Care to describe it a bit? Sounds delicious! Only pineapple I'd mix with tea is INW's pineapple IMO. YMMV

I wrote a review on it 5 years ago at JuiceDB, so I'll cut and paste my original review here to kind of help describe it. Granted, it's been several years since I've had it, and I don't know if they changed the recipe. Since that time, Keystone was bought by Vapor Chef, and even if the juice wasn't 50 bucks a bottle, I won't do business with the Chef because of old Reddit drama. Anyways, my original review below.

"I originally ran into this juice by winning a giveaway on Reddit. This is now in a dedicated RDA and is in my ADV rotation.

The flavors are very clean, subtle, & well balanced, Up front is a delicate white tea flavor, very similar to a white peony tea, a light sweetness, and a clear, but well melded, pineapple note. The exhale has a slightly stronger, earthier tea flavor, & the pineapple comes through again, but slightly caramelized, like a grilled pineapple ring. As I'm vaping this at 30/70 PG/VG, the throat hit is mild, and the vapor production is astounding. I have vaped max VG juices that didn't produce as well as this one. I did not steep this juice at all, it's so good right now, I don't see how any of it is going to last long enough for maturation.

I highly recommend this juice, it's one of the best I've ever tried,"

by isuamadogabout 5 years agoRenaissance Mixer

Not sure which flavors give a white tea flavor. Fa black tea is strong and astringent and works well when you use it with sweeter flavors to balance it out. If you want to try it, maybe Fa black tea 0.75/cap golden pineapple 3%. I prefer a combo of cap/inw pineapples.

Alright that description was helpful. You want VT Sugarloaf Pineapple and VT White Tea. I've personally never tried either, but have read up from various sources that that's pinpoint what Sugarloaf Pineapple is. VT make very accurate flavours from my experience so I imagine their White Tea is downright perfect. Now I'm tempted to grab some since I'm waiting on my tea supplier to restock their white tea heheh.

Good luck and do tell if it worked out!

I love buttersotch by the custard shoppe and cannot figure out what its made with, here is a description:

"Butterscotch by The Custard Shoppe 100ml a creamy custard and gooey butterscotch flavor vape juice. Butterscotch by The Custard Shoppe 100ml is so rich in flavor it is sure to become your new favorite!

With each puff your taste buds will instantly be delighted in that savory gooey butterscotch flavor. On the exhale a rich vanilla custard rushes over your tongue giving you instant satisfaction. "

In my own opinion i guess its more like a brown sugar custard, but really can't put much into words what inam tasting...

How complicated do you want things to be

This could be really straightforward. Possibly as simple as CAP or TFA vanilla custard and TFA brown sugar DX or you could build a more complex custard building off a base of something like u/ediblemalfunction's custard now

2 points

by UncircumcisedWookieeabout 5 years ago

I bought a bottle of that juice a few months back and really enjoyed it. I started looking for a butterscotch custard recipe and settled on SomeSortof Hobbs Unicorn ADV and added Fw butterscotch and Fw butterscotch ripple that is in the description.

I can't really compare them right now, as it is suggested a 1 month steep. But if you come back here in 2 weeks and remind me, I can give you my thoughts on the two. I have a little bit of the custard shoppe bottle left to compare the two. I can say that after only 2 or 3 days the recipe was pretty damn good, but it supposedly gets way better after a month.

So this might be hard, its 2 juices I vaped on back in 2015. Both were discontinued at some point between then and 2017. Tried emailing the company to no avail.

Classified E-liquid

Indulge- custard pudding cake

A savory blend of smooth vanilla custard and creamy pudding, aptly balanced with the flavor of an oven-baked pastry

Delight- peach-berry cobbler

An old fashioned Cobbler with a savory fruit filling prepared with ripe peaches and sweet berries crowned with a thin biscuit topping

Delight will probably be a harder one to clone. The peach was like a really subtle warm peach flavor. Just mentioning this because I do not like peach flavored ejuices, but this flavor is in my top 5.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Alright so I've been trying to clone "the one, marshmallow milk" by beard vape co. For a few weeks now, and I just can't get it right.

The description is :The One Marshmellow Milk by Beard Vape Co. is a unique blend capturing the essence of a light fluffy marshmallow topped with a light dusting of cinnamon, swimming in a pool of creamy refreshing milk to create a delectable eJuice concoction that is sure to excite the taste buds.

It also has chocalate pudding and donut undertones. But it's so creamy and smooth on the inhale.. Any thoughts??

P. S. I made a concoction of my very own ( my first successful) it's a white chocolate marshmallow vanilla pudding or " whitchoc nillamallow pudd'n" I'm still tweaking it, but I like it alot so far and it's an OK replacement for marsh milk.. I'd still like to find it though 😂

Benny's Brew by Archetype Blends. A very rich cinnamon custard. Been looking for a clone recipe for it since I started DIY about 4 years ago. Tried so many combinations but I just can't seem to get the deep richness of the cinnamon without overpowering the brightness of the custard.

Description from the manufacturer's website:

A flavor popular enough to be named after its own creator, Benny’s Brew blends smooth, creamy vanilla custard with a dash of bakery cinnamon.   Primary Flavors: Vanilla Custard, Cinnamon   PG/VG Ratio: 20% PG / 80% VG

1 points

by Foment_lifeabout 5 years agoSeto Kaiba

How eggy is the custard?

I'd be confident that if you want bakery cinnamon you're gonna be after FLV rich cinn but depending on how much they're churching things up in their description CAP cinnamon Danish swirl or cinnamon sugar might have merit as an option.

1 points

by ideas-r-bulletproofabout 5 years ago

The custard is pretty eggy, not like the Jello profile of CAP Vanilla Custard. And I've just recently, in the past week, procured a bottle of FLV Rich Cinnamon. I haven't tried CAP's Cinnamon Sugar yet.

Not your typical clone request, but the juice i would like to clone is heavy on red licorice with some grape soda. You can taste both of the flavors in it but the red licorice is more upfront than the grape soda. What is everyone's thoughts on best flavoring? Does the red licorice flavors out there stand alone or does it need backing up by other flavors? Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.

One I am rather desperate for is Frosty Peach by Cabana Punch.

Absolutely love this liquid, has been ADV for both myself and the fiance for about a year and a half now.

The profile is very hard to describe for me, their description is:

A juicy white peach with apricots and hints of berries with a refreshing exhale!

The apricot is not the prevalant flavour at all, its mostly peach with some berries, but Im unsure which berries are used. The menthol is extremely low, just enough to make it 'cool' but not a flavour present at all.

I apologize if this is a poor description, but I am new to this science!

If anyone has tried and successfully cloned this that would be absolutely amazing to know your method!

With the closure of VapeWild, I'm looking into mixing my own eJuice and am hoping for some help with the flavors I've grown used to from them.

  1. The Razzle Dazzle - My all-time favorite, tastes like Blue Raz gum (Bubalicious) or cotton candy. Site says the primary flavor is Blue Raspberry (CAP?).
  2. NZT-48 - My second go to I usually alternate with my first favorite and reminds me of bubble gum. Site says primary flavors are Red Licoroice and Blue Raspberry.
  3. Cowboy Cooler - This used to be my go to but I got a bit tired of it but enjoy a menthol from time to time. Site says it's primary flavors are Berries and Menthol.
  4. Murica - I've seen recipes for this already but the seem complicated for a noob so I might look for a primix of this or something similar.

To start I'm thinking of picking up CAP Blue Raspberry as I've read that VW likely uses their flavors, but am looking for other suggestions so I can get close to my favorite flavor profiles above. Thanks!

I'll be ordering everything I need in the next week for the first time, so a base set of flavors will be a great start.

Looking for two different awesometown (thesaucela) flavors please:

pure pomegranate (reminds me of black cherry sno-balls but whatever, I love it)

and spearmint gum. maybe tweaked a bit less gum but some, and a bit more sweet.

And one more from somewhere else, Victory Redline - pipe tobacco, creamy, nutty, caramel or butterscotch, very sweet.

Hello everyone, I'm an orphan of the old (like 5/6 ago old) Cuttwood Boss Reserve. I've tried the Cuttwood they do right now, feels like something is missing. Also I've tried an italian juice but still hits different.

So there's only one solution, mix it! But I have no ideas where to start and which flavours to mix and which percentages.

Could someone help me out? Thank you in advance!
