this is the 1st recipe of mine that I'm proud of. it's Ginger, Lemon, Mango and Peppermint.
I love ginger and I got the flavour with absolutely no idea what to do with it, the 1st thing that came to my mind was ginger lemonade. since I didn't have the experience or the variety of flavouring to mix a proper lemonade I tried to make something that's summery, refreshing and flavorful and I ended up with this. I liked it a lot and so did my friends, and I'm very proud of it as a relatively new mixer.
I have a system where I mix a few bottles of different juices a week and leave them in sort of a queue to steep, it's a weird and unsatisfying system but it works for me, so I didn't get to try this until 7 weeks after I mixed it.

I finally got around to trying this yesterday because of missing flavors and I have to say it's delicious!

I'm pretty proud of this recipe.
As a strawberry mute, i have issues with (almost) every strawberry and cream recipe. As you all know, over half of all DIY recipes is some form of strawberry and cream, so it sucked for me. Thank god for /u/ID10-T's strawberry trinity, that one really works for me as a strawberry mute, hooray! Now, for cream i do like a thicc full bodies cream type, but i don't really like custards. They make my tummy go brrr sometimes..
After a couple of weeks of tinkering, i came to this end result, and i must say i'm really proud of it. It tastes very full, thicc cream and with fresh bright strawberries on top. Also the biscuit undertone just works (god i love JF Biscuit). So, here it is:

As a non-strawberry taster it's not easy to find and/or make a good strawberry vape. Trust me, i've tried a lot of recipes, and 99% are no good to me. So, thanks to ID10-T's strawberry trinity and some trial and error, i've came up with this recipe which to me, is the best creamy vanilla strawberry vape i've ever tried.
Strawberry trinity: INW Shisha Strawberry + FA Red Touch + JF Sweet Strawberry is the best combination of strawberries for every non strawberry taster (like me). Try it, for real.
Vanilla cream part: Started with just FLV Cream + FLV Vanilla Pudding but i missed some more vanilla. TPA Vanilla Swirl works fine here to add just that little extra. Together it's thick, creamy, vanilla-y without tasting too much like egg/custard. Light but full of flavor.
JF Biscuit is added just because i love it. It makes a basenote of biscuit/cookie for the cream and strawberries to hold on to. It's the foundation of the whole recipe, without being really in your face.
Shake and Vape approved, but (just like a every recipe) it gets better with time.

How did you arrive at this hard-to-believe finding?
You should not take my findings as a scientific fact, nor serious is any other way.
Just lots and lots of strawberries and creams out there, but none was good to me.

Hello everyone. This is my first post on this forum.
I was recently experimenting with creating a blackberry apple cider. In the process, I made something that's not quite a blackberry cider, but it is delicious. I call it Black Amber. I'd love to get some opinions/advice. I'm pretty new to mixing and this is one of the first recipes that I've created on my own that like to vape all day/week.

I haven’t tried cap blackberry but tpa blackberry real low like 0.2-0.5% is good and fm black berry from 3-6% is also good.
I prefer Fa Fuji / LA so I’d go:

This recipe was the result of challenging myself to find a use for some of the flavors I had purchased, but never used. After much fine-tuning, it turned out as spectacular as it is unique.
Woodruff is a whore of a flavor (always tempting, but usually too gaudy and ostentatious to fit in). It took a lot of experimentation, not to mention a large supporting cast, to frame it in a good way.
Woodruff is center stage, framed by sandalwood and lavender. Everything else is essentially for background and texture. Soy milk is an odd flavor on its own, but here provides a nice light creamy texture without introducing dairy notes that would clash with the foreground.
For best results, steep for at least a week.
Here's a recipe I've been hoarding for a long time, just biding my time, until I decided to.
Notes: About a year ago i went to a local rolled ice cream roll place with some friends that allows you to fully customize what gets chopped up into that ice cream that they super cool on that plate in front of you. I chose some milk-tea for the base ice cream, a grainy-type cereal to be chopped up into it, condensed milk drizzled on top, in a taco shell shaped waffle cone. It was so good, i decided there had to be a way to come close to recreating a profile like this. Milk tea seemed to be a lot of work finding the right black tea, and the right dairy and hoping they blended together so i just skipped over that part. A creamy, spiced waffle type.
LB Belgian Waffle: I don't really get any of the cinnamon notes that have been described here, just the kind of bready and dessert type of flavor. I really don't want any fake maple syrup taste in this mix at all. Partly, because i grew up using real maple syrup and can't stand anything else, and partly because that wasn't what i was going for here. I wanted something bready- some sort of base to carry the other flavors. Plus, those slight spiced notes that i get from this really mix well with the other flavors.
RF Condensed Milk: Really wanted an up front creaminess that i get to mix with the waffle base here. It works really well with the vanilla note and spiced notes i get from the other concentrates and doesn't make the waffle taste soggy or overly wet.
TFA Vanilla Bourbon: At first, I used DIYFS Holy Vanilla, but when that went to V2 the concentrate wasn't nearly as good and Holy Vanilla was hard to find. When looking for a suitable replacement, I really needed a concentrate that had a rich vanilla to remind me of something close to the milk tea and to really darken that condensed milk flavor. Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla comes close. It's not quite as potent as Holy Vanilla, and it's missing some of the spiced notes, but it comes close. Vanilla Bourbon is the bottom heavy note that balances out the top heavy Condensed milk. It works well withe the buttery bakery that is Belgian Waffle, and it creamy without being a dairy flavor. If you happen to have a stockpile of Holy Vanilla, use it at 1%.

TFA's Vanilla Bourbon came as a freebie last week and so I have these flavours. Shame about the Holy Vanilla. I got into this too late to ever try V1. It's both a blessing and a curse I see.
Recommended steep time for this? :)
Have you ever had WF Vanilla Custard? Not the Ruyan Vanilla Custard but just regular WF Vanilla Custard SC?
It's a creamy spiced vanilla with the density and texture of a custard. Egg notes are negligible, and are covered up in most any mix. It's a pretty complex, flavorful vanilla. I've never had TFA Vanilla Bourbon, but what you described reminded me of the WF flavor.

You might want to back off on the Ginger Ale by a % - personally I like it strong. I'm going through a ginger ale phase lol.
##”Purple Champagne” This is a S&V certified recipe, but it gets even better after a couple of days, when the grape fades and bavarian cream gains power. Usually I enjoy a more custard/bakery/creamy vapes, and this one is heavy on fruits, but it is totally unique on how it vapes. You get a pink lemonade-y kind of taste, with additional fruity background, and incredible creamy exhale. Oh, and it smell is just heavenly, when vaped.
TPA - DX Bavarian Cream 3.5%
TPA - Grape Juice 1%
Capella - Sweet Tangerine 1.5%
Capella - Yellow Cake 0.5%
FlavourArt - Mangosteen 1%
Flavor West - Lemonade (Natural) 1.5%

Pretty straight ahead profile on this one. Generic grocery store brand vanilla greek yogurt, inspired by my last shopping trip.
TFA Greek does most of the heavy lifting delivering that love it or hate it flavor. As a main note its used at the top of its workable limit.
TFA French Vanilla gives our first vanilla note as well as adding some thickness to the yogurt. Bavarian cream usually works well in this role but I was looking for a full vanilla flavor so this seemed like a better choice. FA Madagascar is our 2nd vanilla and brings a ton of flavor to the mix.
CAP juicy lemon is used real low to add a bit more bite to the yogurt while not adding a lemon flavor, reinforcing the sharpness. Super sweet to taste, 0.5% gets me where I like it. Gotta let this one sit for a few days, but good to go after that if youre looking for a yogurt vape.

It tastes like ass crack at 0-day steep. Please help as I cant see why this wouldn't taste amazing.
I personally find that those lemon flavors are super strong to be in icecreams. Maybe do like 0.7 lemon Sicily, and some FA meringue at like 0.5%. The tangy creamy meringue might help bridge the gap between the icecream and citrus, or even a yogurt might do the same.
Also when I think of lemon sorbet, i generally feel like I get a lemonade-esque flavor. Maybe flavorah lemonade might work better? Its also nice quite as strong as FA LS.
Lastly, butter anything is best after a good 2 week steep, i wouldn't expect much at day 1.
Because citrus is a volatile flavor, you coukd mix everything except the lemon, let it steep for a week or two, then add the lemon and give it another 3 days or so. It can help with the layering.
Maybe I'm full of shit and none of this helps, but I hope you can make your vision come to life. Good luck!

My biggest problem is it tastes literally like ass crack. It made me retch. I’ve never had that with any mix, however bad, before. 1.5% lemon may be a bit excessive but never knew it could taste so rancid.

That's not the lemon, it's the TFA Butter. Don't put that in there. TFA Whipped cream should be used with caution also.
TFA VBIC, FA Cream and FLV Cream is a tried-and-true combo, with the optional addition of a little TFA Bavarian Cream. Try that with your choice of lemons.
ok, I may be a bit tired, but I absolutely cracked up-,out loud-(ass crack pun entirely coincidental) at the raw humble humor here!! I would love to find a lemon bar recipe... but I've heard lemon is hard to work with so I'm getting my feet wet with some basics first... thanks for a good giggle!

Has been reported to crack/melt plastic tanks. May be fine to vape with glass or stainless steel tanks

I thought that was only polycarbonate? Cinamon, menthol and strong citrus can degrade polycarbonate
I use ultem/SS RDAs and have never had an issue. Lemon Sicily is a pretty popular flavor.
However if this is a worry, like 0.25% INW lemon is a pretty good replacement
You do not need to add any butter to TFA VBIC, also could use the VBIC at a higher percentage, say like 4. TFA Whipped Cream is probably too high, and really not even necessary as it doesn't have much of a taste and is used more for making things fluffy. I'm not familiar with those particular lemons, but they are probably too high also. I'd also agree with the comment below mine that FLV Lemonade would be a better choice. Also, if you're going to be investing in some new flavors, get some LB Vanilla Ice Cream and TFA Vanilla Swirl and you will have a much better ice cream base.
