There is nothing wrong with trying to "bend" a commercial juice. Except that if you aren't familiar with how flavors taste on their own, it's going to be hard to bend it into something that you're wanting.

And yeah, you can get away with adding just a drop or two of some flavor concentrates. Others, like say CAP Chocolate Fudge Brownie, a single drop has a HUGE impact. Also, some concentrates need a "steep time", so you're adding things means you can't vape it right away and discern exactly how it's going to taste when it mellows and mixes into other ingredients of the commercial vjuice.

What I've done with commercial juices is usually diluted them with VG to make them less sweet or carry less throat-hit/acidity/cinnamon, etc. In some cases, have diluted it to 3 parts commercial and 2 parts VG to make them more suitable to me. But it was gradually diluting them, with a small bottle having 5 parts commercial and 1 part VG, then 4:1, etc.

Thank you. I really appreciate this answer because it’s pretty much what I was hoping to hear lol. I’ll start with a drop or so and work my way up after allowing some steep time. I’m using juices I don’t vape anyways so having to wait a little while won’t kill me.

Adding the WS-23 probably wouldn’t be a problem. You’re going to ruin commercial liquids by adding extra flavors because you don’t know what their recipe is.

Thank you for the reply. Even a couple of drops? I don’t get much flavor out of the juices in question to begin with. I was hoping the WS-23 would help boost them but if it didn’t I was going to use the concentrates. Let’s take naked 100 Hawaiian Pog for example. I get very subtle citrus flavors when I vape it and I think it could do well with some pineapple.

WS-23 is fine to add. I'd test it after each drop. You can always add more but can't take it out.

Regarding adding flavors. It will slightly raise your overall pg and lower your nicotine. Commercial ejuices use high percentages of flavoring as is.

The muted flavor is most likely from your device. Not all pods or coils are created equally.

Thank you. It’s weird, though - some juices give me great flavor and others I don’t taste anything but hot air regardless of how many coils I test it with. I use a Novo 2 with 1 ohm mesh coils (I’ve tried the 1.4 but they give even less flavor and they don’t hit as hard)

I can vape right after adding the WS-23, right? Should I mix a drop at a time into my bottles or maybe one small drop into a full pod?

Without know the recipe, you can't "fix" commercial juice. You can't just throw flavors at it in the hopes that it sticks.

I mean, you can though. Whether it will work or not is to be decided, but there’s nothing stopping someone from doing that.

That juice has a strong Guava flavor so you need to investigate your atomizer. You should taste more than a slight citrus.

Hi. Your commercial juices will keep destroying those stock coils regardless of flavor bending or not. It’s the high amount of sweetener (sucralose) used in commercial juices. Keep in mind that stock coils and hardware will no longer be available in the US coming September (search PMTA).

Warm water baths aren’t necessary and have negative effects on flavor as well as nicotine. Just let it sit in a cool dark place with the cap on. Fruit flavors, unless they contain alcohol, are usually SNV. Good luck!

Why not just mix completely?

What do you mean?

They mean DIY your own ejuice using whatever ratio of PG and VG (like 70/30, 80/20), whatever % nic, and whatever flavors you like. There is a bunch of DIY recipes online.

He's referring to mixing ejuice from scratch.

I ended up just buying all 3 of those + a Fuji FA. Hopefully It’s safe to just drop into the bottle and vape

I have several bottles of commercial juice that I don't like and was wondering if I could do the same. I have mixed a couple of bottles together and made them better. I have 1 bottle that is supposed to be a glazed donut. There's absolutely no sweetness at all. It's 60 mLs and was $30. I hate to just toss them

I hear you, It’s such a headache trying to find good juice. I live in Hawaii and buying off the shelf here is crazy expensive ($25ish for 30ml), so I just purchase everything online. I mainly use reddit for juice suggestions, but I guess I don’t like what other people like. Hopefully we can fix our juices and not have to throw them out

Go easy on ws-23 might be worth looking at polar blast as well. Theres a bit to mixing it takes learning. But you can probably get away with tinkering with your commercial bought juices - just be prepared for some not turning out as expected, or meh. I mix frequently in DIY, but still buy good commercial juices from time to time. Sometimes I like the mystery of not knowing the exact ingredients. A BIT like opening a Pandora's box. If I like it, that's all I need to know. Good luck, oh by the way, get some scales dont do drops.
