WEEK 67
> Welcome back to another thread for sharing your impressions of single flavors you've tried. Unlike our flavor reviews which go in to a lot more detail, this is the place for brief notes. Here's an example from last week's thread:
u/RancerDS on FLV Tatanka @ 2% (off the shake): Getting a rummy tobacco with a very slight toffee. Very dry mouth-feel, no ash and no off notes in particular. Will probably chime back in on this later. Depending upon how much later, will update this post or make a new one.
> He should update us next week when he goes back to posting the SFT thread -- so I don't have to! :P

I tested some creams the other week, you all know most of them but I want to share my notes anyways.
> ASM Eisaromen (german brand) - Sahne Creme @2%
2 days: nearly no taste, some mouthfeel, a little sweet.
5 days: more mouthfeel, light sweet cream taste, comparable to fa vienna cream
9 days: didn’t change much
> FA Vienna Cream @2%
2 days: more mouthfeel than ASM at this point, slightly sweet, somehow a little nutty/cakey.
5 days: comparable to ASM, creamy, nice mouthfeel, fluffier than ASM
9 days: didn’t change much
> FLV Cream @2%
2 days: weird throathit, dairy taste, not sweet, weak mouthfeel
5 days: better taste, still has a throathit but not unpleasant anymore, definitely tastes like milk, not voluminous, aftertaste reminds me of oatmilk or almond milk, tasty
9 days: definitely some kind of off-taste compared to fa vienna cream and asm sahne creme, reminds me more of a cinnamon roll off-taste instead of oatmilk
> TFA Bavarian Cream @2.7%
2 days: more dairy than fa vienna cream, has some kind of „dark“ sweetness to it
5 days: doesn’t taste like whipped cream but is definitely creamy and voluminous. Should go well with milkshakes and bakeries. Tastes like a creamier, fuller version of FLV Cream. Malty off-note
9 days: off-note not as strong as the off-note of flv cream
> FA Fresh Cream @2%
2 days: already a nice mouthfeel, no taste, a bit creamy
9 days: thick, tastes like cream fresh, not sweet and not sour, a bit malty. Somehow like tfa bav cream without the dark sweetness. Nice mouthfeel
> OOO Cream Milky Undertone @2%
2 days: milk. a bit disgusting.
5 days: nice, full mouthfeel
9 days: light dairy milk taste, not disgusting anymore, enjoyable mouthfeel, not as thick as fa cream fresh, more like real milk/liquid
> CAP Sweet Cream @3%
2 days: full mouthfeel, scratchy (possibly nicotine?), despite the name not sweeter than the other creams
5 days: definitely has some throathit
9 days: a bit spicy, slightly creamy, not really sweet, boring, subtle, good for a light cream note in a recipe I guess
> VT Sweet Cream @2.5%
2 days: hint of thick, voluminous, sweet whipped cream
5 days: completely different from Cap Sweet Cream despite the same name. The only cream that really tastes like sweet whipped cream. Milky, creamy, authentic. Should go perfectly with cakes or everything that needs a lot of cream. Powerful. Oily but not disgustingly deep-fried greasy, but milk / cream greasy
9 days: unchanged milky creamy, definitely suitable for desserts
WF Shortbread Cookies @ 1.5% (4 day steep) - Getting a light bakery & vanilla note, and more like pancake/waffle than a cookie - Lacks that "crust" part. Though I could definitely see this as part of a cookie or cheesecake, as it has a lovely mellow bakery flavor due to that subtle vanilla.
WF Honey Roasted Peanuts @ 0.75% (5 day steep) - Definitely has something that reminds me of honey roasted peanuts, but it all just falls flat - I guess due to the lack of salt. It reminds me a lot of FLV Beer Nuts, and I'm not a fan of that either. Think FLV Beer Nuts with an added sour note, and some meth head-bee honey.
VT Strawberry Milk @ 3% (3 day steep) - A very nice milky mouthfeel. The perfect creaminess for what the profile aims to be - but I'm really missing some strawberry here. Could definitely see this as part of a strawberry&cream recipe. This is one of those flavors where you just wish it'd taste how it smelled, cause the smell is absolutely divine - Whereas the flavor when vaped is just "ok". But with some help it could become something good, I'm sure.
FA Torrone @ 0.5% (5 day steep) - Definitely has that lemon note I heard turned people off to this flavor - Though in my opinion, that's the best part of it. Like a mellow lemon zest you'd get from a cake or something. But then there's the "nougat" part .. and the nuts I guess - To me it's just a mess. There's something you could call "nougat", if nougat was soggy bread that's been sitting in the sun for a few days. I don't get any nuts or anything like that. It does have a nice mouthfeel though.
>He should update us next week when he goes back to posting the SFT thread -- so I don't have to! :P
u/Apexified, I can do that, starting next week. :P And thank you most graciously for your week to week effort with this.
No new notes on the FLV Tatanka though. Dumped it into another mix to turn it into a more complex tobacco; getting lazy in my old age.
Bickford (BIC?) Vanilla Cake @ 10% Excellent
Right after the shake, it tasted like a good cake with a very noticeable vanilla that was rather sweet, as if it was the icing on top. This was in a 65/35 mix, which is what was used with other flavors for Bickford, which yielded less promising results. My first urge is to throw in some TPA Strawberry, Ripe. With being a very accurate representation, it's not something that I will vape long by itself, even though I can see it as something to vape between other flavors as an intermission. Few days later, can say there were no off notes testing it now or back then.
OoO Wheat Bread - 2% (I think?)
Off a shake: There is a semi starchy chocolate. Not Tootsie roll chocolate, but not milk chocolate either. More like powdered chocolate that's slightly wet. Kinda soggy.
After ~2-3 days: it's more the crust of wheat bread. No real inner bread feel, pretty much taking the butt end of a loaf. Kinda dry, still has a darkish chocolate note, but lot less than off a shake.
