Even though they only do large orders of 100+ your not gonna find cheaper price per unit on amazon. I’m in the states and I can get 100/ 30ml PET or LDPE for about $22 including shipping.
If by "local", you mean brick-and-mortar stores, I have, on occasion, seen small squeeze-type bottles sold in craft stores (like Michaels or Joanne, e.g.). Other times, I don't, so YMMV.
We won't discuss why I was in such stores in the first place.
I've looked locally and didn't find too much. Craft stores had huge mark ups for dropper type bottles. The best place to get them is by ordering online. I've bought bottles from tons of places online. They add up when you get a half dozen here and there.
The ones I go through the most ate the little 10ml bottles. I've bought them from just about everywhere too. Amazon, ebay, flavor sites, and even Fasttech sells them.
For glass bottles (for nicotine) I usually order them on Amazon for convenience. I buy a dozen or two and get free shipping.
For larger batches I mix I like to use "Bullet bottles" from River Supply. They're very similar to Sriracha hot sauce bottles but a bit stiffer. I use those to refill smaller 60ml or 30ml bottles.
If you’re looking for the unicorn bottles, I get mine from nicotine river (called river company now). I think a pack of 100 is like $30. If you’re looking for glass bottles, glassbottleoutlet.com. Great quality, and the only place I found that let you buy the exact amount you want. Like, they don’t come in packs of 10 or 20. They are cheap too. I think I bought about 100 or so bottles of various sizes for $50 or so.
If online isn't an option and you need somewhere local, look for a local brewing store but generally they're gonna have bigger carboys, craft stores generally have some types of bottles that will work, I've used the empty clear ketchup bottles you can buy from Walmart in a pinch.
I’m in the UK and I get mine from eBay. x100 10ml bottles for about £7-8 if I get the ones shipped from China or £10-13 if I get them shipped from within the UK. I’m guessing you maybe live in America? But you might find equivalent deals on eBay.
They’re perfect for making up testers of single flavours or recipes. I’ve never had any issues with the quality or leaking etc. The sellers I buy from do bigger sized bottles as well for a little bit more money.
I buy a 3-pack of PET bottles that hold about 2.75 ounces from Dollar Tree. It's possible other dollar stores will have them in their crafts/cosmetics sections. They don't have drip-tips/nozzles, but I have a twist-nozzle that fits them.
Look closely at the bottom to insure they say PET as to the type of plastic. It's usually in or near the recycling symbol.
