'What are you vaping?' Thread - Week of July 6, 2020
submitted about 5 years ago by c5b4c91772c729fc7d0a

This thread is for you to share what you are vaping lately, be it your own or another mixers recipe. Maybe you happened to stumble upon your new ADV in the July Recipes Thread? Or did someone recommend your first mix to you in the Suggest a recipe for my flavors Thread

Share what you liked or didn't like too much, but most importantly, please make sure to properly link to the recipe and to the mixer if they're on reddit.

If you need some inspiration, some websites keep track of your mixes and batches: e-Liquid Recipes and All The Flavors.

Also make sure to checkout last week's thread for inspiration or to follow up on a mix that turned out even better after a week of steeping! We keep an archive of all the past threads in our wiki as well

Happy Vaping!

"Pony on Acid" or my own RY4 mix I call "Jedi Juice" (Jedi Juice is generally for my PODS and MTL)

I made this mix that I think is terrific and I'm vaping the hell out of it now, but I'm going to keep messing with it and see if I can make it better. Kind of tastes like a white gummy bear and a strawberry creamsaver at the same time.

Mother of Smok's Milk

(named for Smok Wawelski, the famous Polish Dragon. Not Smok, the relatively cruddy vapor product company)

All-INW

  • 1% Dragon Fruit (Pitaya)
  • 1% Shisha Strawberry
  • 1% Shisha Vanilla

When this is gone I'll try the next version:

Mother of Smok's Milk V2

Still All-INW

  • 2.75% Shisha Strawberry
  • 2% Prickly Pear
  • 1.5% Dragon Fruit (Pitaya)
  • 1% Shisha Vanilla

I don’t know where I’m going to land as far as a final version but it’s definitely going to have INW Dragonfruit 1% or higher, INW Shisha Strawberry more than 1% (not sure how much more yet), and INW Shisha Vanilla (around 1%). Not sure what, if anything, else yet, but I want to give that Prickly Pear a try first.

Did it just happen that it is all INW? Or did you want it that way?I never bought the prickly pear but I will be mixing your first version. I kind of like how everything is sitting at 1%

I’ve been wanting to try the three flavors in the first version together for ages, since ConcreteRiver’s INW Dragonfruit review., and just finally got around to it. The addition of Prickly Pear was intentionally choosing something from INW to see if it complements the others. I am loving the three 1%s right now, but it’s a little light. Whether you find it too light or just flavorful enough might depend largely on your device, coil, personal sensitivity. I’m tinkering with it to try to make it something that punches a little harder.

I went all the way back to the beginning of my vaping life and found a good Seduce Juice Snake Oil clone that's really hitting the spot. Pears and cream man, it works!

A couple of quick ones i put together from a new order that came in.

Can't think of any clever names:

The first one:

Grapefruit Inawera 4%

Cold Pressed Lime FA 2%

Strawberry Ripe TFA 1%

Fuji FA 1%

WS-23 0.2%

The second one:

Black Tea FLV 2.5%

Grapefruit Inawera 2%

Sweet Mango CAP 1.5%

Both are pretty delicious and worth some refinement, I'll probably add some Yes we cheesecake to the second one to add a little creamy tartness, or perhaps some coconut, maybe both, who knows...

My tenth attempt at a Perique & Rum:

1.20% Jamaican Rum FA

0.60% Oak Wood FA

1.50% Perique Black FA

It's not bad, but I think I need to try a different woody note, or just take it out all together.

1 points

by isuamadogabout 5 years agoRenaissance Mixer

I get a nice mild woody note from vanilla for pipe along with vanilla. Might be a nice additive? I really disliked the Fa baccos myself. Not sure what I’d replace it with, nor am I certain of what a real perique actually tastes like though.

1 points

by nakedzabout 5 years ago

Thanks - added Vanilla For Pipe to my list. ... and I don't have any idea what Perique is supposed to taste like either, lol.

by isuamadogabout 5 years agoRenaissance Mixer

no problem. in my experience, FA Rum can go up as high as 3-4 so dont be afraid to take it up if you're not getting enough rum for your liking. If you want more of that booze note, consider VT Light Rum (NOT VT RUM -- I repeat: NOT VT RUM). The two work well together as well.

If you like a whiskey note The Southerner is pretty damn good. I hesitated on the Lovage root because it is used so low and so rarely, but i got it and tried that mix. Excellent. Probably can mix without it, but it wont be the same. Lovage adds a moistness. You would not regret getting the other flavors in that mix at all. I can guarantee it. Shoot, i'll even paypal you the money if you decide you dont like those flavors. FLV tobaccos are a whole different world from FA. FA Perique Black is famous for having bell pepper off notes. I never tried it.

If you are in the US, you can get the INW For Pipe Stuff at Vaperstek and I suggest adding DNB and TA Cuban Cigar so you can make Brigade .

Today I'm vaping some 33.2 mg/ml CBD e-juice that I made today using 1gram of CBD isolate from Lazarus Naturals that came in the mail today.

I'm vaping it out of my new Aegis Squonk with a Profile mesh RDA. I'll try this same ejuice again when I make my first set of coils for the Tengu RDA that came with the Aegis Squonk.

Nice... You prefer that to King's Custard?

Yeah My Custard is a lot tastier than Kings Custard which was my previous ADV. If you haven’t tried it and you like custards then this is definitely worth trying.

It's damn hot here, so I'm squonking some raspberry+grape (WSed to hell) into Hadaly and sweet frozen randomly mixed [FA mango+CAP sweet mango + little bit of TFA Coconut] on berserker.

Mango feels good. Guess they were FA 60/CAP 35 + 5 TFA coconut, something like this + unreasonable amount of WS. If you'd like to see more coconut, I'd replace TFA with a greater amount of TPA coconut candy.

Is your hadaly authentic? I just bought a hadeon clone with an entheon cap. Will I like it?

1 points

by bdrayneabout 5 years ago

Nope, it's an SXK one. I don't like anything looser than a pretty restricted DL, and Hadaly vapes nice to me, the flavor is top-notch even with a 2mm 6 wrap fused, cloud production – not so much, but that's a pro to me.

Everyone I know in squonker community who's used Hadeon were pretty much pleased, but seem to prefer Haku Venna/Phenom over anything else, I just hate Allen screws in attys.

I don’t like allen screws either. I think you would like the Citadel

Its actually a premade juice flavor by the finnish master chef Jalippo. Its called Jalippos secret vanilla berry.

I am going to have to look for a recipe with that profile. I am very intrigued

My spin on a Pina Colada. Still needs some tweaking.

Flavor | Percentage ---|--- FLV Sweet Coconut | 1.75% FA Coco (Coconut) | 0.75% TPA Dairy/Milk | 1.25% FW Yogurt | 1% TPA Key Lime | 1.5% CAP Golden Pineapple | 4% CAP Sweet Guava | 2.5% FA Cream Fresh | 1% CAP Super Sweet | 1% ---|--- Total Flavoring | 14.75%

I am vaping this https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/193837 by u/JasonA1121. it’s like the calypso clone fused with hashslingingslashur’s prickly victory. When I saw this it reminded me when I used to put TFA Jackruit into everything. This is good too I mixed this a long time ago. https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/77225

edit. I never Vaped the original calypso

NICE 👍 I've never tried either on their own, but I knew they had similar type profiles and wanted a wet sweet vape without over complicating things. Why not leave it to those that have come before me??? I may try this with .25 WS-23 to get a little chill into the mix though 🤷‍♂️

by kuri_sanTouabout 5 years agoDiketones, Schmiketones

I don’t like cooling at all. But your‘s is quite nice

1 points

by Jasona1121about 5 years ago

The funny thing is as, more seasoned mixers know, you mix, usually, around similar profiles to bring out, lift up or support flavor notes.

Personally, I have very little experience but I could st least see that they had the ability to be mixed so I had to give it a shot. Fortunately, being similar profiles and with them not being too drastic in percentages, they worked very well together.

As for adding cooling I don't typically like cooled or iced recipes myself, but it's nice to have from time to time. I did a pink lemonade from the BCF Community recipes and added WS-23 to it at .5% and some of the flavor was still there, but it was mostly just ice at that point. I'm thinking that cutting that in half will give a nice cooling effect that should be nice when I'm out and about during a hot day, to compliment a nice cold Tropical IPA or just cus I get the itch for one at some point 😄

These days I am mixing my e-juice myself. I have recently studied a blog regarding DIY mixing E-liquids and got the perfect idea to make a mix.

I have mixed two Vampire Vape concentrates: 6mL of Heisenberg & 6mL of Pinkman then also added 6mL of PG and 42mL of VG. My favourite 60mL chubby bottle is ready.

One important thing to share - After mixing e-liquid, shake the bottle thoroughly for a few minutes.
