This recipe is not quite original or innovative, but it's so good I decided to share. It's based off of Fear's Abuela recipe. Instead of FLV Mango it uses INW Shisha Strawberry to completely change the flavor profile yet stay true to its tobacco base.
- 0.3% FLV Connecticut Shade
- 1.3% FLV Cured Tobacco
- 0.8% FLV Kentucky Blend
- 1.2% FLV Virginia Tobacco
- 1.5% INW Shisha Strawberry
- 1.5% INW Shisha Vanilla
Mix: Just head over to Abuela and replace FLV Mango with INW Shisha Strawberry, and overdrip it a bit. :)
There is not much more to say about this than what has already been said for Abuela. The combination of Tobaccos is just outstanding work Fear deserves all the credit for. One difference is that the strawberry is, intentionally, a little more prominent than the mango in the original. In particular, INW Shisha Stawberry is thick and fluffy, and complements the tobaccos really well.
While the original recipe states it's a cigar, I would not classify this recipe as a cigar. It feels more like what you would expect from a wet and juicy strawberry shisha tobacco.
A week of steeping makes the tobacco less harsh on the throat. Personally, I mix this with a base of 15% PG and 3mg nicsalt for an EXTRA smooth experience (for RDA). But you do you.
Nice one. I'll give this a try. I've made Abuela a couple of times beforehand.
Headsup for a similar profile done by CBV some time ago, also uses Kentucky but with Cured and INW Cuban Cigar. I'm unsure if the current version of this cigar is ok, or ruined though, so approach with caution!
