Most Australian vapers are aware of the very heavy handed immediate ban on nicotine. So did a little reading. I'm American. Looks like this Greg Hunt is a fucktard. Y'all might have different slang over there. Therapeutic Goods Administration seems like they're full of shit too going against scientific studies. I'm mean they're right. There will be an uptick in smoking if they ban vaping. Duh! I'm angry and upset about this ban. No word of warning whatsoever. It's so damn shady. All I know is with 25k signatures yesterday and another 25k today, we are on the way to really being able to make some noise but fuck, we really need some LOUDER VOICES right about now. 😥 We can do this! We should find somebody (a lawyer) willing to launch a class action suit against the government. It couldn't be too difficult to prove that a blanket ban on nicotine vaping products will have a demonstrably negative effect on individual health, community health and place strain on the entire healthcare sector. It's also a tacit admission that they'd rather tax addicts than heal smokers.

Sweden here. We are stupid enough to equate smoking and vaping in all legal matters. This is even dumber.

I am sorry to see democracy around the world giving in to dogma. Inhaling any smoke is bad for you, nic or not. But your leaders leave you with the deadly alternative while the one that has been linked to a number of positive cognitive and motor skills plus potential neuroprotective properties is made essentially illegal. There should be an international court of stupidity where decisions like these could be challenged.

I think I speak on behalf of all Swedish vapers when I say that we stand with you in this battle and hope that you manage to get these retarded laws overthrown.

Update: the petition was successful, the nicotine ban has been delayed until January 1st next year. Thank you everyone for your support. A huge, although tentative win.
