Hi! So I've been mixing my juice fo some time now and I have come across a problem. I used Flavor Art Lychee 2% (50/50)and the final product is dry. I really don't like the DRY feel it gives when I vape. Do you think that Distilled water might help to fix that dry feeling? I really enjoy the wet feeling some juices have and I'd like to replicate that w my diys.
INW Cactus and FA Pear are commonly used to add wetness.
Just came to say this. I had some liquid barn Sang Pétillant and the champagne used in it makes the whole thing dry. I added .5% cactus to it and it was instantly better. I highly recommend it if people are looking for a wet sensation....
I thought that everyone knew that Cactus was used for wetness, but apparently not.
Distilled water is pointless, but saline solution (0.9 to 1.8% salt in distilled water) can help moisten things up a bit in some cases (salt activates the salivary glands.) For a more pronounced juicy effect, add a little FA Pear, INW Cactus or INW Dragonfruit (Pitaya) to your recipe.
If you do want to try saline, don't use table salt that has anti-caking agents and iodine added. Either get sterile saline solution from a drug store, or use unrefined sea salt.
You think INW Dragonfruit (Pitaya) is wet? That’s interesting, I’ve never thought of that. Thanks
Not "wet" per se, but it does smooth out dry/harsh recipes wonderfully. I frequently use it with citrus.
INW Pitaya and INW Caktus are pretty similar in body, just with different floral notes.
Some flavors are just going to be dryer than others, it just happens. Are you just vaping 2% FA Lychee by itself or you mixing other things in with it?
By itself, I ordered FA marshmallow and meringue. I read on ec forums that it helps
Those two are going to make it dryer for sure. Not really the flavors you want to increase wetness.
Your best bet is things like dragonfruit, guava, papaya, honeydew / cantaloupe. Cactus can work but anything over like .5% turns it into a cactus recipe. Creams can help, but more yogurts / milk types.
