It seems like I've gotten honeysuckled out, i.e. temporarily exhausted my ability to taste TFA honeysuckle. After vaping other juices for a few hours, I can taste honeysuckle on the first hit, less so on the 2^^nd, and not at all on the 3^^rd consecutive hit. Then after a few hours of vaping other flavors, I can taste it again for 1 hit.
Is it just me, or has anyone else experienced this?
I love bakery juices. After a while though I have to throw something from the opposite spectrum at my senses so I do a Pink Lemonade clone for a few days. Afterwards I’m good to go for a minute.
It reminds me very much of drinking sodas. If you stop for a week the next one you drink will seem like the sugar inside of it is overkill.
I get the same thing with bakeries and custards, after a while they can start to lose flavor. I have a feeling that it's something to do with either the juice getting heated up or the cotton getting gunked up, or maybe both. When that happens, then I vape something fruity, preferably containing FLV Pink Guava.
Olfactory fatique. Vape something else

I always rotate flavors every 5-6 hits. I'm quite familiar with normal flavor fatigue, in which a mix becomes progressively less enjoyable the more of it I vape. This is something different, a specific flavor component is just completely gone from one hit to the next.
Olfactory fatigue.
Hydration plays a big factor. Are you drinking enough water? I try to drink 3 quarts to 1 gallon / day.
The other solution is to have a small army of mods in rotation with a different flavor loaded in each.
> Hydration
I drink more than a gallon/day, but not much plain water. I drink black tea with milk in the morning, coffee at work, a beer or two when I get home, then green and/or herbal tea for the rest of the evening.

I have 4 primary tank mods plus 6 discreet pocket size devices for work/travel, and typically vape 5-6 hits at a time before moving on to another flavor. That's in addition to the 4 RDA mods I use for flavor testing and recipe development.
ANYTHING with caffeine and/ or alcohol (tea, especially coffee, sodas, beer, liquor, etc) is considered a diuretic (expels H2O from your body), aka dehydrating!!! Sorry :(
The only actual hydration you're getting is from the added milk in the black tea (which kinda gets cancelled out by the caffeine in the tea lol) & from an herbal tea (unless it's like a detoxifying herbal tea - dandelion root, etc can be diuretics as well).
Try drinking a glass of H2O (you can add Mio drops or flavors if you cant stand plain water) for every non-hydrating beverage if you can. & I got a tongue scraper, it helps tons :)
Reduce the amount of Honeysuckle in your recipe for the next batch.
Vaping something else wont fix the problem as the same thing will happen next time you vape your honeysuckle blend.
If the flavour starts off great and steadily reduces then it means that your recipe needs changing, there is too much of [Insert Flavour here] and it overwhelms your taste receptors. Reduce the percentage until the flavour fade doesn't happen.
It's a remix of u/ID10-T's Longing (replaced VBIC with Bavarian Cream and added a hint of Polar Blast), so 3% Honeysuckle. I suppose I could try toning it down to 2.5%, but it's a popular recipe and 3% seems to be working well for a lot of folks.
The other folks don't share your tastebuds.
Most popular recipes are massively overflavoured for my taste, I would experience the same phenomenon as you described if I used their recommended flavouring percentages.
Personally I would try it at 1.5% (or lower) as you can always add more flavour later on but you cant remove it.
I think I found a solution, I had a party and loaded up my old mod with a spare tank for a friend that ran out of ciggys... I now have 2 mods running, one loaded with apple cinnamon Danish, the other with blueberry, I diy so no names... when one loses flavour I just pick up the other mod, I generally alternate morning and night, seems to work... for me anyways
