Request: Recipe for breath and butter flavour?
submitted over 5 years ago by esskay1711

I'm trying to make a peanut butter sandwich flavour. I've got a perfect peanut butter mix , but im still working on the rest. can anyone recommend a good mix for bread and butter flavour?

Edit: I just realised I wrote Breath and Butter lol. I meant bread and butter.

Wf cookie butter and vta butter base have a melted butter vibe and vta butter toffee base is more "in your face" butter from what I tested. Never tried to create a bread tbh and I guess it's more of a mouthfeel. But maybe you could play around with ooo cornbread and Wf glazed donut which have a yeasty note. Maybe combine with fe sweet rice at low percentage for the starch note. Just thinking out loud, never tried to recreate it

Great advice saspi, I'll just add that SA Breakfast is a pretty spot-on toast, if a bit on the burnt side. edit: it does come with jam though - I think there's 2 sorts, one strawberry on toast and one raspberry.

They say SA Breakfast is pretty good, but it has limited usage because of strawberry jam.

I recently bought SA Toast which is pretty good (adding some butter and a jam of YOUR choice isn't that difficult) PLUS i think it will be useful for crust in many recipes. was just solo tasting it so far, i didn't try it in recipes yet.

I was trying to think a little outside of the box, but now that i look again at this thread, there seem to be bread flavors out there, so i guess op will have a much easier job using those. Hm never came across them bread flavors, gotta place an order soon again

Lol I just realised my mistake. Bread, not breath.

Yeah,I knew...I was giggling, but it probably came across as a total A$$- not at ALL where I was headed with it. If you've ever been around someone with a sourdough-ish morning breath you'd understand why it was so funny to me....made me think of the 'garbage pail kid' line of vape flavors I thought of the other day! Auto correct and predictive text are the two arch nemesis to my online personality and intelligence it's a tad refreshing to see I'm not the only one tortured by these two...and that no one else was harsh about it-made my ❤️ warm & fuzzy.

If your final recipe isn’t called Peanut Butter Breath I’m gonna be a little sad

Don't stress , I'll call it peanut butter breath if I make it again or put the recipe online.

Try AP for the bread flavor. That's literally what it is. Go very very light.

As far as peanut butter...I don't think you need a butter flavor, just the right peanut butter combo.

I was using a combination of TFA Peanut Butter and INW Peanuts but the INW adds a bit of dryness that I had to dampen with something (Usually TFA Vanilla Swirl).

That combo worked well for my Peanut Butter Cookie recipe, just a matter of changing the cookie to Bread.

Just so we're on the same page Ap is Acatel pryazine? Is there any specific brand I should get?

I had a really nice ejuice once, it was the perfect mix of bread a soft butter and strong peanut butter. I want to try and get the perfect mix again.

Acetyl Pyrazine, yes. It should be fundamentally the same from everyone as it's a standard chemical compound. I always used TFA.

Would have to play around with an additional butter flavor but I'm guessing the butter you tasted was coming from the peanut butter.

I'd really try to focus on getting the peanut butter flavor right first, then add the hint of bread, and then tweak as needed for more butter.

Ok, I'll get some of the concentrates and start experimenting mixing them. Thanks for your help with this.

For bread, try a combination of RF Baker Bread, FA Bread Crust, and FLV Lembas Bread. For peanut butter, you can’t really surpass TFA Peanut Butter with a small amount of FLV Beer Nuts. A bit of AP is also ok here. Add some bavarian cream for the creaminess and some caramel (FA Carmel) or VT Golden Syrup (or both) for the shine note. 0.5% of TFA Butter could also be in place here.

Those 3 sound like a great bread mix! I'll check them out. And that's a nice sounding peanut butter mix as well. I'll grab the concentrates and have a go mixing it up. Thanks for this.

Let me know how it goes! I’ve been planning this mix for a long time (but I would also add some strawberry jam to it), - still have to buy FLV Beer Nuts, waiting for the shipment to come.

One on One has some actual bread flavors that you could try.
I've never had any except cornbread, but I do have wheat bread coming in the mail shortly.

I typically use various combinations of these: CAP Cereal 27, WF Croissant, INW Biscuit, RF Baked Bread, FLV Starch Base, FLV Wheat, TPA Acetyl Pyrazine 5%.

Here's a bread stone recipe.

As for butter, I typically go with CAP Golden Butter.
