FA Forest fruit tastes like a wet dog without sweetener
submitted over 5 years ago by DancesWithBees123

Is there anything else I can add to make it better?

Here are my flavors

I've never tried wet dog with sweetener, but I have a feeling it's gotta be worse than without...

I really love forest fruit. Maybe you need to jam it with something like FLV Boysenberry or FLV Jammy Berry

What percentage are you using it at? And are you using it solo or in a mix?

Tried it at 2%, 4%, 6%, and 8%, it tastes awful without a little sweetener to me, like the smell of a wet dog, idk

Some flavors just don't work for some people, I certainly wouldn't want to vape any wet dog.

It's easily my favorite flavor. Check out Looma! Recipe, forest fruit and harvest berry make for a delicious combo

For me a lot of berry concentrates taste like soap or bad perfume. Especially raspberry there are only a couple I can enjoy

One of my favourites is 5% CAP Harvest Berry, 3% Forrest Fruit, cooling agent to taste. Sometimes add <= 1% sweetner

For me many Berry Flavors need a bit of Time (10-14 days) and the right Coils.

After vaping a long time i use mostly only ceramic Coils for all things “sour”!

I can’t use “Metallic ones”!

But sometimes a liquid (flavor) is just a bad Melange.

Umm don’t vape it then?

Don't use a flavor just because it's shitty by itself?

I like it and it’s a well regarded flavor. You maybe just don’t like it. That happens.

Happened to me too - might have been a bad batch with the bottle I got, but it put me off wanting to order it again.

Agreed. I was very disappointed with it especially after seeing so much hype for it.

Vaping it right now, it's great. You got a clean coil in right?

Great flavour. I usually mix it with blueberry and raspberry sweet, bit of cactus and marshmallow.

I tried it with ws-23 and didn't like it at all, so I added some INW raspberry and LA lemonade to the mix and it's palatable now at least

Forest Fruit @ 4% is my hubby's ADV. Maybe a bad bottle?

What else is in the mix? Or is it just the fruit? I just got this and want to try it out since I’m getting burned out on bakery flavors.

He likes the FF all by itself. I have seen recipes that add some cream to it. Good luck!

Either a bad bottle or just not your type of flavor. It happens. I enjoy forest fruit even without sweetener but everyone's setups and tastes are different. Not sure what to tell you to add if you're tasting wet dog. If it's too potent maybe try something like a little tfa cotton candy (em) to tone it down a bit. Or add other more dominant berry to it like a blueberry jam and try to shift it some. Maybe some sort of cream or vanilla swirl to counteract the wet dog, so long as it doesn't taste like wet dog and cream.
