So for starters, I always hated menthol cigarettes and haven't ever enjoyed any sort of cool or iced vape flavor.
Jungle Juice is a weird one, it's sort of a wet watermelon with a bunch of coolant, at least for me. My first experience was using it to replace jammy berry in a recipe, not knowing it was a coolant (always test your flavors)
At first i hated it but i kept going, i got used to it really quickly and it added just a really nice wetness and cooling that i really enjoyed, especially on a hot day.
I now use it in every drink recipe at 1%, most recently heat wave and tropical storm, super tasty and just cool enough to make it a nice vape on a hot day.
If you're like me and not really into a cool vape, i recommend giving it a shot as it starts to get hot out there.
I think I’m very sensitive to Melon flavors/offnotes, after vaping too much TFA Honeydew at too high of a percentage when I first starting vaping House juice. I had to get rid of my FLV Wild Melons too because of the gross offnotes I kept tasting.
Got some Jungle Juice in few weeks ago, tried to make a mix of it this morning at 3%, with my go to PUR Watermelon and some Papaya Punch. Couldn’t vape it at all, it’s a shame. Only post this to see if I’m the only one who has this problem? I know we have strawberry non tasters, and pepper tasters here. Anyone have any issues with melon flavors? I seem to vape candied watermelons no problem, PUR & MB Big Watermelon give me no issues at all.
I feel you. When I started using pods i was crazy about the honeydew flavours from ice monster and Pachamama. Almost finished a 30ml bottle of each before I got sick of it. Subsequently got into diy and mixed up a simple TPA honeydew and VBIC. had to gag through it to not waste it. Recently mixed up a soursop cream recipe on ELR with 8% TPA honeydew that I dialled down to 6%. even months after anything honeydew, it's putting me off a bit.
I'm really sensitive to those as well. Not really off notes but like FLV Cantaloupe at 0.25% and that's all iui can taste in a mix.
Yes - I'm glad I'm not alone. I can't stand FLV Wild Melon. I mixed a couple of different recipes with it, and I got just a weird, gross, honeydew kind of off flavor that made me want to vomit. My husband enjoyed the juice I made with it, and I know lots of people like it, but I'm just like "ew, gross, no!" So I know it's my tastebuds and not the flavor. I enjoy the candy type watermelon flavors as well, no issues with those.
I've been vaping single flavour Jungle Juice as my ADV for literally years.
I started with MBV's Thug Sauce, then a local shop did their own version of it (MBV's version is simply 13% Jungle Juice and a touch of menthol/koolada/whatever coolant is "in" now).
Now I just straight DIY the stuff by the gallon.
I mean i like but not sure i feel that strongly about it ha. That's awesome though it's definitely a good one. Lots of thug sauce juice talk when i read about it, but I've never tried it
What's your thug juice recipe?
Share your impressions here too if you want to add some notes about it to the SFT database.
Would this be better suited over there? Tbh i haven't single flavor tested it yet but it's on the list, i just don't have an accurate description for it but wanted to inspire some new mixers like myself who aren't into a cool vape to try it out in some fruity beverage because it's amazing.
It does fit tho it certainly is not a name that describes the flavor, i bought it for a recipe without doing any research and then blindly subbed it in a different recipe. Was a pleasant surprise but certainly not what I'd recommend doing
This was my ADV back in 2013/2014. Mount baker vapor sold it as Thug Juice. I vaped hundreds of gallons of this stuff, at 13% Jungle Juice tastes identical. It's nothing great by any stretch of the imagination, by today's standard is pretty crappy. I still mix a 30ml of it from time to time. It takes me feel super nostalgic.
