I haven't really been around, or active, much, for a long while now.
I just wanted to send out a quick thank you to those of you who have been here for years, developing, helping, welcoming and generally being that solid backbone that a creative community such as this needs. You guys and gals are awesome, and you deserve some recognition and praise every now and then.
Also thanks to the new blood that keeps a community like this from becoming a stale circlejerk. Despite our best intentions, groups of people that are left alone too long tend to become insular, boring conveyor belts, only interested in their small area of focus.
Here's to the symbiotic marriage of the old and the new!

I don't really contribute. I just try to be nice. English isn't my first language but I learned it through my work. 3 years ago this sub was very harsh especially for newbies but the guys running it now are all cool. The sub is getting a large influx of new users with all the bans in the usa and they want to mix and need answers. This sub is clean but still hard to navigate and there's just too much information to consume. This sub is both a heaven and a hell.
Took me a minute to figure out your name on discord. You were one of the first ones there and the first person to post about it here after I made the server.
