I am working on a light, sweet tobacco flavor. A friend of mine recommended tobacco absolute for an authentic tobacco flavor. However, on the TFA website, it says that it is not meant to be used as a flavoring? Should I try to order it from somewhere else? Does anyone have any recommendations for good tobacco concentrates?
I’d probably not order it from there because it’s 95% triethyl citrate. Other flavors have it, but at much lower concentrations, so I’d just be cautious and get it from somewhere else. Vapers Tek has the Inawera Tobacco Absolutes, which are all good. Light and sweet, I’d suggest INW Tobacco Absolute Garuda.
I use it in my tobacco flavors for that dirty ashtray sensation.
It is strong! I dilute it in PG at 10% to make a usable flavor concentrate. I used to add EM to that concentrate because it seemed like most of the time that I used tobacco absolute I'd be using ethyl maltol too. Just a time saver in my process, you might like to pair it with something else, but definitely dilute it so you can better control it.
Light sweet tobacco... flv sweet cig? HS ry1?
Edit: you want ‘good’ tobacco flavors, not necessarily light sweet ones. Authentic? Outside of a NET, I’d say Flv Kentucky, Inw for pipe line black or dark. Flv red burley if you like it nutty. Flv cured too.
