Fading flavors
submitted over 5 years ago by rcreter

So I'd like to piggyback off what someone recently posted about recipes fading after a few weeks. However, more specifically about certain flavors that are most notorious to lose their potency in a mix sooner than others. Seems like most flavor reviews and recipes suggest steeping time. But I was curious if any of the experienced mixers here knew off the top of their head which ones could be tagged "best used by". Maybe this could be useful to noobs and semi noobs like me and help decide if a recipe is worth mixing up a 60 or 100ml batch without it fading before using it all.

BTW... I personally vape custards and desserts. No fruits but all suggestions would be great!

Thanks in advance. You all have helped me immensely over the past 6 months!

Do you happen to know how fast you should vape cap sugar cookie?

CAP Sugar Cookie supposedly fades in its own concentrate bottle.

Such a shame. It’s a tasty one. Thanks.

That's interesting. Wish I wrote this post before I bought that 30 ml bottle. Lol. Do you think it's wise to bump up percentages on an older bottle?

Yes that one I did hear fades. It's what inspired me to write this post. Good to know what I have in stock that should stick to small batches

I'm pretty sure I heard one of the mixers on noted say INW shisha orange is another fading culprit. From what I recall FE sweet rice is also guilty of this. I also remember someone saying their OOO butter pecan ice cream lost potency.

Thanks all. So based on the replies is it safe to say it's some fruits and no bakery/creams or custards that will fade?
