How long should i wait to use juice after adding nic to it?
submitted over 5 years ago by GhostOfZyklon

Hello, I ran out of juice today and got some premix from a local store it was 0mg so I added my own nic. How long should I wait before use? I added it about a hour ago and have been shaking it on off for the hour. Thank you :)

You’re good to go. No steep required.

Okay cool. A second quick question. How do I know if the nic is mixed in properly? *edit I forgot to say thank you. So. Thank you.

Shake until there are a large number of very small bubbles dispersed evenly throughout the entire bottle.

I actually make a whisk out of some thick kanthal then put that in my drill and mix it like that for about a minute

That seems a lot easier then aggressively shaking the bottle for 10mins. I'll start doing that, thanks for the tip.

Most commonly most people go at least 2mins on a SNV recipe, so I do that with my nic before I mix, and shake the bottles for that long too when refilling. Probably overkill but I've never had hotspots always tastes perfect.

I shook it for like 10mins. Hotspot? Like just a spot a nic with little mix in it? That sounds no fun.

Just base and nic? Shake and vape. Only flavorings (most of them) need a steep to git gud

Thank you It's some Charle's chalk dust juice that I added nic to. I'm pretty new to this stuff so I'm not sure what things like shake and vape and just base and nic mean sorry.

Shake and vape is exactly how it sounds. Mix it up, shake it, vape it. As opposed to mixing it up, shaking it, and letting it steep. Just base and nic, that’s what you have going, the base is premixed. As apposed to mixing up various ingredients; flavors, pg, vg and nic.

Thank you, so what's the difference between that and the base and nic mentioned above?

Here's a great chart for mixing. My local vape shop gave me a print out of a very similar chart. They headlighted the 6mg row for me as I used to smoke Winfield Blue strength :)

Hope this is helpful 😊
