First flavors for a fruity our candy juice lover?
submitted over 5 years ago by doombunnies

Tried to search this but since it is down to preference I can’t find an answer.

I love fruity flavors and some candy too. The only custards I like are pretty much straight up vanilla. No bakery. I just don’t like sweeteners in juices in general that leave a sweet taste in my mouth that makes me extremely thirsty.

Any recommendations on flavors and recipes based on those preferences? I feel a little overwhelmed with all the recipes and flavors to choose from. Just trying to make a 50/50 out 60/40 VG/PG ratio salt nicotine juice for my dna Orion.

The simpler the better. Thanks.

See I’m not trying to be picky but that is too much for me to pick through. I’m extremely indecisive and sorry about that. Need like maybe 5-8 flavors I can start with given my preferences to make simple recipes to get my feet wet.

Disabled veteran here sometimes decisions can make me anxious when there are a lot of things to choose from and I’m new to it. So sorry if I seem a little demanding or something.

also, if you want to try something first, wth, send me a pm and i'll mix you up and send y'all a no-nic sample of whatever you want so you can try before you buy.

edit: under the condition that you write up whatever you think about it in the weekly single flavors or the what are you vaping? threads :)

Nah I get it. I’m hella indecisive too. Any particular fruits you like in real life? That’ll help.

Tend to like berries a lot and pear. I like strawberry but all the strawberry juices I’ve had were hard on coils. Blueberry is good. Peach too. Guava is pretty good with a lot of things too.

Making juice for my wife too and she’s the custard and vanilla person. I like the straight vanilla but she likes some fruity custards too.

Just hoping for really simple limited ingredient recipes that would be good to start with.

FA Forest Fruit and CAP Harvest Berry. Both are mixed fruit profiles that dont really need anything else. That will be a flying start.

FA Fuji, prio 1 for fruit profiles. Toss some in any fruit mix to add a little something something. (Check the ingredients of fruit drinks, everything has applejuice added, even if the flavor does not state apple)

Rest is optional imho, start with TFA Strawberry and TFA Strawberry Ripe, or CAP Sweet Strawberry. Lots of recipes use those as a base.

Additives: TFA Dragonfruit if your not into dragonfruit but want to blend and increase juicy-ness.

INW Cactus for juicy-ness

Cap Super Sweet for sweetening and ruining coils 😉

WS-23 if you want a cooler fruit vape

Bonus little recipe for ya: 1 2 3 Berry Easy

|Co.|Name|%| |:-|:-|:-| |FA|Fuji Apple|1| |FA|Forest Fruit|2| |CAP|Harvest Berry|3|

You could switch the Harvest Berry and Forest Fruit around % wise and make it more forest-y and less berry-y :P

seconding forest fruit, I recommend it as a first flavor to everyone who starts and likes fruit. it's literally great by itself at 3%, or you can punch it up with lemon or other berry notes to your liking.

Do you like Hawaiian Punch? If you do this is the recipe of the year Counter Punch by u/ID10-T. He's the most prolific mixer around here and has other good recipes as well that can be found here.

I feel your pain. I am very indecisive myself and have been trying to pick out recipes for the last month I say. Like you I suffer severe anxiety and I found myself getting overwhelmed because there really was so much to look through and decide on. I'm also on a budget like you so I can't order every single thing that I'd want. What I ended up doing at the end is picking like two recipes with high ratings and then I looked up the individual flavors. If a flavor could not be used again in a recipe I thought was good or was not popular I did not add it to my buy list. That's what I did on my first order which was only like 8 flavors. Then I did the same for my second order which I'm still working on now. I'm working on my third order as I'm doing my second order for recipes that I will buy ingredients for next month.

To stay on budget I figured out how much I spend on e-juice per month and I made that my budget for each order.

Your second order will probably be better and bigger. You really should join the DIY discord. Everyone is super friendly and helpful and you can ask questions and get almost instant answers. Also, since you're using a pod system you should definitely search for pod system recipes. Good luck.

Here are some recipes that met my criteria that you might enjoy

Watered Melons

1-2-3 Ocean Water

Prickly Victory

In A Godda Da Vida

Burst Duo Guava

FLV Papaya Punch - 4-5 DROPS to 10ml. It's one of FLV's insanely strong flavors. If you read any reviews of this saying it has a chemical flavor it's likely they mixed it too strong.

It was the first flavor I really loved when I started vaping - once I learned how little I needed to get the best flavor.

Works really well solo, and I've never found the need to mix it with anything else.

I never eat Papaya so I don't really know what that tastes like, but my mind thinks peach when I vape it.

If you read Concrete River's review on this flavor he says it's more like a peach ring flavor than it is a Papaya. Ive used it to improve some peaches and cream mixes that I wasn't happy with.

Cap sweet strawberry 3%, inw raspberry 1.5%, tfa Jackfruit 1%, tfa dragonfruit 0.5%, and either inw cactus or tfa pear at 0.5% has been my daily driver for over a year. (80:20 vg:pg, 1.5mg/ml nic)

That sounds delicious. Do you mind if I ask what exactly the jackfruit brings to the mix? Don't have that one

It's kind of....tangy? I guess? Citrusy? Tart in a juicy way? If that makes sense.

You're my new friend. I love TFA Jackfruit. I could never find a reason why it isn't used more
