I’ve been up and down all the recipe sites and I’m just having no luck. Anyone have any tried and true fruit recipes that have either a menthol /koolada or ws-23 blended in? I’m partial to berries and watermelon and prefer a really icy hit. I usually run 80/20 sub ohm but I sometimes go 70/30.
I do have some lnw fruits and their menthol and mint. I’m ordering from jungle express in a day or two to grab some other flavorings and cooling agents.
On a side note, does the lnw menthol tend to sour up sweet fruit flavors?
Go to atf, search flavors for ws-23. Look through the recipes it lists that use it. Keep in mind that percentage of cooling agents, like percentage of sweetener, depends entirely on the mixer, not the creator of the mix. Levels listed are frequently just wherever the creator of the recipe would personally mix, usually depending on his tolerance to cooling.
I think FW Jungle juice would be great for you. I usually add menthol to it to make it stronger
My ADV is what I call Frosty Currant. I buy from HiLiq (China), and use 7.5% Summer Currant and 1.5% Cooling Agent (WS23 I think). It's a good black currant flavour with plenty of cooling!
Menthol and/or coolants as well as sweeteners are always personal preference and optional. Some recipe creators will have them in the recipe, most do not. Search for fruit recipes that appeal to you and add sweetener, menthol and/or coolants to taste. Alltheflavors.com as well as this subreddit have plenty of fruit recipes, from simple 1-2-3 recipes to complex ones. I‘m pretty certain you‘ll find some that fit your taste. Stay safe.
O thank God for this thread I have been looking for the ice effect everywhere and everyone kept saying try a sertain menthol brand but it's not the same. I was trying to get the keep it 100 blue slushie iced type of iced flavor
I’m leaning towards adding the ws-23. I love me some menthol but it’s making some of my sweet blends turn sour.
Yaa I feel like the Menthol cant get me to where I want with keeping the sweet taste of blue raspberry and the slushie I feel like needs the effect of Ice to make it even taste anything like slushie.
I just ordered both Koolada and ws-23 i'm probably going to do a test when they come in to see which one gives it the more of a natural Ice flavor with the same recipe. I stole the Blue slushie remix recipe from all the flavors if you are interested in trying that mix but im just adding menthol to it because his is not the Ice version. I love that Juice I have 4 bottles of the real thing left and now New Jersey state law isn't allowing for flavored E-Juice because they don't care about freedom here anymore it might not even be part of America anymore im not sure lol 😂
I've actually been working on a keep it 💯 blue slushie iced clone for a few months now. WS-23 is best for that, because it doesn't muddle your other flavors as much as menthol would
Ohh yaa any luck mimicking it so far I think the flavor recipe I got is more for the remix blend with strawberries and other fruits mixed which wasn't my favorite. I liked the one your talking about the regular blue slushie Iced I got 4 bottles of the real stuff left and its slowly dwindling lol i'm waiting on a new scale and that Koolada and WS-23 to come in to make my first batch of the iced version of the recipe from All the flavors I found.
I know this is kind of crazy but I've been vaping the same flavour for the last 4 years and it is exactly what you're describing. I never tire of it it's mad.
INW CACTUS 2%
TFA DRAGONFRUIT 1%
FA FUJI APPLE 2%
DV/INW MENTHOLYPTUS 1.5%
INW SHISHA STRAWBERRY 3%
LA WATERMELON 2%
Total 11%
Sometimes ill jack up the mentholyptus if I want more of a menthol throat hit. Try it out and let me know what you think
Strawberry shisha was out of stock but I have a couple different strawberries and ordered apple shisha. Maybe I can pull it off by decreasing the Fuji and adding some strawberry? Probably won’t taste the same but it might be good anyway! Lol
How long on the steep?
I'm sure it'll be fine, I've done something similar when I ran out of shisha and it was still good. As for the steep, it doesn't need long at all, maybe a day or two? Hope you like the mentholyptus, it's pretty powerful stuff!

How long to steep these? They all sound good!
I snv all 3, but 2 weeks if you aren't an impatient bastard like me.
You can also add sweetener, but that's not my thing.
I am also an impatient bastard. I planned on making a few that need steeping but keeping plenty of snv alternatives around so I can satisfy my impatience and still try some of the other ones. I’ll probably need to keep them hidden from myself and set a reminder. Lol
I regularly go for a kanzi clone with 0.5-1% Koolada. I use TPA for everything, bit you can swap anything for what you have.
Strawberry Ripe 6% Watermelon 5% Kiwi Double 4% (or maybe watermelon is 4 and this is 5 don't remember) Sweetener 3% (could very well go lower) Koolada 0.5-1%
I have tried tens of variations of this, depending on what I have lying around. Haven't had watermelon for quite some time. I remember it working well with blueberry wild, pomegranate, a little bit of lemon sicily. Basically any fruit that is a little sour (or a lot but use moderately) works pretty good.
I usually try to keep the 6-5-4%, with strawberry on top. Don't remember a time that I mixed something I didn't like enough to vape with variations of the kanzi clone.
I use menthol crystals, but a sharp (as in, it should obliterate your mouth-hole at 15%) menthol flavoring is a great starting point. FA/INW menthol is not good ime.
But try 10% menthol and 2% FA anise. That was my daily juice for almost a year.
Otherwise FA Citrus Mix @ 4% and 10% menthol goes really well.
Anise is a black licorice yes? Never been a fan of that but the citrus mix sounds good! Thanks!
It's a liquorice-esque flavour. It comes from star aniseed. But I'm from the nordics. Apparently liquorice isn't that favoured elsewhere. :p
