Always had a good experience with ECX. Super fast shipping, well-designed website, free shipping on $30+, good selection. Most importantly, there are some real gems among their house brand flavor line. Prices are not the lowest, but reasonable.
All in all, ECX/FJ is the first place I look to when I need flavors promptly. If I order before noon, I usually receive my order two days later via Priority Mail.
My only gripe is with their 10ml bottles, which are annoyingly rigid and hard to squeeze one drop at a time from (in addition to holding only 10ml, compared to RSC's 15.)
I've ordered from them several times since November and have found the process to be very pleasant and all of my batch orders were 100% accurate. I think I even received a bonus flavor I hadn't ordered that was related to something else that I paid for. Shopping was easy to do and shipping was prompt even during this crisis time.
Have only ordered flavor concentrates from FJ. Only thing negative I can think of to say is they didn't list Inawera Malina last time I was shopping but that's very minor.
I've used them for about 2yrs. Their prices are about on par with everyone else. Their selection is some of the best I've encountered. I've never had to go thru their customer service since every order has arrived on time or sooner. Usually receive orders within a week of ordering. The packaging is top notch.
I would order my PG,VG, and nicotine when that offered it on the site and it was always top quality. I wish they would offer nicotine again so I could order everything from one site but I understand why they no longer offer it. I just recently ordered some of their one shot concentrates (banana french toast, blackberry lemonade, and Rhodonite from DIYorDie) and they have been great.
Just waiting for Blackberry lemonade to steep. Their 30ml LDPE non childproof bottles are the only ones I use and seems to be the only site I can find them on. I would suggest anyone looking to get into DIY check out this site.
Just placed an order yesterday afternoon (Sunday) for a bunch of JF flavors. These guys frequently have flash sales. I haven't had any issues with their processing times, lack of communication, or packaging. They have a decent selection, but no matter where I go, all places are out of one flavor that another company has. Thems the breaks I guess. I will continue to shop here.
I've never noticed any flavor I've needed out of stock on ECE but the majority of my flavors are TFA, FW, FA, Cap, etc. so they are typically always in stock.
That's what I'm referring to. Not being a one stop shop. Rarely is there a place like that though. All places seem to be be missing one. Yesterday for example it was INW Grape, FW Razzleberry, FA Polar Blast.
FJ/ECX was my sole flavoring provider from the very start of DIY probably 6 or 7 years ago.
Unfortunately due to their recent dropping of the Flavorah line it pushed me to get my orders filled elsewhere, for convenience and consolidating shipping cost.
Great ui on their website (even if a bit slow sometimes,) great everything really, prices, customer svc, ship time. Will still use them as a backup to fill in any gaps, but again it’s always my goal to get everything I need from 1 site when possible.
They dropped FLV?
There’s no wild melon listed, cream is sold out, and everything else is 50% off and they appear to be clearing it out.
I just assumed they are trying to distance themselves from anything e-cig related to protect their business from all these stupid flavor bans. And since flavorah touts itself as being meant for e-cig juice it makes sense that they wouldn’t want to carry it anymore.
Not exactly. FLV dropped them due to their location (WA) which is a flavor ban state.
We dropped each other, carefully, gently and with love and affection... Washington state is a wasteland for anything that doesn't kickback into the Governor+Attorney General's slush fund. This was just as much about staying away from their LCB (liqour and canabis board) racketeers. We have not shipped to WA customers since late summer 2019.
Pro's: Quick shipping. Decent\totally in line prices on 10s & 30s. Good selection with a low free shipping minimum. 2 sales per week, along with weighing that against the standard 10% off you can always get, makes it a great place for nabbing several gaps in your stash without breaking your budget (additives and capella excluded except 1-2x\yr). Most bottles have a shrink wrap seal on the neck, used to hate it, now I love they do it. When they run site-wide sales it can be a good time to grab 10-20ml bottles for fairly cheap, just check the sale section.
Cons: bottles can vary in size, quality and shape for 10s (flv 15 width but shorter). Some flavors are definitely old\oxidized, but far from common. I've had to rebottle a few flavors within 6 months of purchase due to the odd bottles coming open\unsealed just sitting in my cabinet (always those red capped amber tinted ones). Prices on 2-4oz & above can be pricey when compared to BCF or RSC even when using their sale code.
I can also say that aside from chef's, this is the only company I've ordered from many times and never had 1 leak.
Highly recommend, just not for larger restocks if you can get them elsewhere and are cost conscious.
Never any issues with speed or customer service. Selection can be lacking at times but good house concentrates sweet strawberry, biscuit and lemon (which doesn't fade). Only oddity is free shipping was at $29.99 for at least a year of ordering from them then it was bummed to 34.99 a few months back and now 39.99 for free shipping. Still lower then others free shipping amounts just odd the quickly changing pricing.
I wonder if their free shipping changing throughout that time period is due to USPS raising rates this year. It was proposing of numbers for a while and, I think, recently have said what the rates will all increase to. Mayhaps they have been unsure what they should/would be able to do free shipping on while still not losing profit due to shipping charge increases.
Prices:
Rarely the best, but usually more aggressive on sales than other vendors so it works out a lot of the time. They have lowered their free shipping threshold so it is lower than many, if not all, of their peers, and that can helps when I'm not placing a huge order.
Selection:
A truly mixed bag. They have the FE stuff that you can't get nearly anywhere else (and goddamn is that lychee a good one) and they have a few other things that are often out of stock elsewhere. However the gaps in their product lineup are inconvenient to say the least.
Shipping Time (Out the door):
Rarely more than a day from placing an order to having a tracking number in my inbox.
Customer Service:
I don't believe I've ever had an issue with an order placed through ECX/FJ, so I can't speak to their after sales support, but their online chat feature has helped me out a few times, and the staff was knowledgeable and responsive to feedback. Made for a very pleasant experience while building my cart to be able to check on whether certain things would be re-stocked or if a flavor has been rebranded or if it was new.
So I ordered from flavor jungle and at the same time order some nicotine from another source; the order I made from flavor jungle arrived to my house before the nicotine order from another company shipped. I waited 10 days for my other order while flavor jungle's order arrived in three days. I am a new DIY and place my orders with flavor jungle.
I have no serious gripes with FJ. I used it a couple times at the beginning of mixing, but they seem to be missing quite a few flavors from many companies that bull city has and their prices can be different at times so I usually do my bulk shopping at BC, but obviously FJ is the only place to get JF line so I always use the site specifically for them. Fast shipping, nice packaging, no complaints other than some selection issues in the past.
