As always, the purpose of this thread is to gather the community to explore a category of flavor and its many uses. And it's also to have FUN!
Post recipes containing this week's Flavor of the Week, as the star or in a supporting role, with or without development notes. Talk about other people's recipes that use it. Compare and contrast different manufacturers' versions of the FOTW. Ask for help using that flavor in general or to achieve something specific, offer advice, brainstorm ideas, consider substitutions, suggest pairings... really anything at all as long as it's on topic.
#This week, this is also where you can comment to win the Beverage-Type Flavors Pack ($70 value!) from Flavorah and the new Flavorah recipe book!
This pack includes several of FLV's newest flavors, such as Juniper Gin, Back Bar Bitters, Brut Bubble Wine, Citrus Soda, Cola, and Tequila Agave, as well as Bourbon, Coffee, Eggnog, Elderflower, Horchata, Irish Cream, Mocha, Morning Mimosa, Raisin Rum, and the incomparable Root Beer.
And, check this out, FOTW now features a neat new poll where you can vote for your flavorites:

#This week's flavor is... FOTQ (New Hotness)!
Say what?
#FOTQ (New Hotness)!
It was requested months ago that we set aside a week not for a single flavor profile, but for all the new flavors released during the first quarter of 2020. Unfortunately there haven't been any that I'm aware of (this is the part where you correct me), so I have to back up a bit to Nov/Dec 2019 and then there are a bunch of them. If you have (or have questions about) any flavors released in the past 5 months or so, this is the place to talk about them, ask about them, share recipes using them, etc.
These are the ones I have on my radar:
LIST OF NEW FLAVORS
Flavour Art: Indian Mango, Blueberry Juicy Ripe, Rhapsody. Also Blueberry Fruity Candy & Mango Fruity Juicy.
Chemnovatic: Lemon Cream Wafer. Maybe some other new flavors, not sure.
VSO: Definitely has some new flavors, but I'm not sure which are the newest.
Capella: Apple Pie v3, Chocolate Fudge Brownie v3, Lemon Meringue Pie v3, Pina Colada v3, Peanut Butter v3.
Wonder Flavours: At least 12 new flavors - Bavarian Cream, Blueberry Gummy Candy, Cookie Butter, Cream Custard, Lemon Custard, Malaysian Guava, Roasted Hazelnut, Strawberry Cheesecake, Strawberry Juicy, Honey, Vanilla Custard, and Watermelon (Yellow). I'm also aware that they're coming out with Amaretto and Amaretto Sour, but I think those haven't been released yet and will be part of the next FOTQ.
Molinberry: At least 22 new flavors - Blueberry Jam, Lemon Tart, Lychee and Dragon Fruit, Premium Green Tea, Yellow Cake, Honeydew, Apricot, Original Lemonade, Queen Delicate Pineapple, Classic Belgium Waffle, Zesty Lemongrass, Jelly Candy, Thick Vanilla Cream, Classic Cornflakes, Soft Baked Cookie Base, Classic Sponge Cake, Grapefruit, Cocktail Kiwi, Creamy Greek Yoghurt, Rocket Popsicle, Frozen Black Forest Fruits, Candy Tutti Frutti, The Most Sweet Cream.
3 flavors of the MB Raspberry Revolution line: Spicy White, Honey Berry, Soda Berry.
2 New MB One shots: Galaxy Cheesecake, Mellow Chilli Mango.
What did I miss?
How did that get to be the FOTW?
It was requested!
>If you're not interested in the upcoming FOTWs, please take this opportunity and comment to request one that interests you (or send me a PM to do that).

Just unwrapped wf strawberry cheesecake yesterday, not tried it yet. Hoping to see some usage for it posted here. By the looks of this list, next weeks show will be a doozy! Thanks guys.
Freshiepies aka Fresh03 uses that flavor a lot - this one looks like a good place to start: Strawberry Cheesecake Cake
- 1.6% WF Strawberry Cheesecake
- 1.8% WF Fluffy White Cake
- 1.5% CAP Vanilla Whipped Cream
- 0.8% VT Sweet Cream
- 2% FA Red Touch (Strawberry)
- 0.25% FA Blackcurrant
I was disappointed in WF Strawberry Cheesecake as a single flavor.
Who carries those new MB flavors? I just checked BCF, and saw none of them.
I just picked up these 7 from BCF a week ago: MB Original Lemonade, Queen Delicate Pineapple, Grapefruit, Cocktail Kiwi Fruit, Classic Sponge Cake, Classic Corn Flakes, and Classic Belgian Waffle. They had a couple others that I passed on and several more that were sold out. But if BCF doesn't have what you're looking for, DIY Vapor Supply probably does.
>Classic Belgian Waffle
Hope this is good. Although I find the description mildly disturbing...and as for the price, it's more expensive than FLV :)

Classic Belgian Waffle with extra tender.
Dosage: 6 %
I want to say it can't be any worse than FLV Waffle, but apparently INW has come out with one that is worse than FLV Waffle, somehow. I say apparently because thanks to /u/EdibleMalfunction I'm afraid to even try it.
There might never be another waffle like the original INW Waffle (RIP) but we can at least hope this MB version is a step in the right direction and the WTFness of that description was just something lost in Polish to English translation.
Isn’t TF Vanilla Custard II also new this quarter or is it older then that? Not much talk about it, but it’s soooo good!
I don't think this is new, pretty sure u/ID10-T had this on the Flavors of the Year 2019 Noted which is why I got it. It is wonderful though.
I think FA Blueberry Candy and FA Mango Juicy Ripe are both new. Released at the same time as the other blueberry and mango.
Love Fa Mango Indian special. It’s just so bright and vibrant. Just got a ton of new Wf in that I have steeping sft’s.
Do you have wf cookie butter?
MB belguim waffle and soft cookie base both sound interesting. I have FLV Root Beer from the flavor pack on my shopping list so I can try Fitz's root beer from atf.
That Fitz's was so good. I'm sure it would still be great without the original Holy V but have been pestering /u/mrburgundy314 to hunt for the absolute best sub for that.
u/ID10-T when did WF Strawberry(Baked) come out? That is awesome and it was new to me.
Did anyone try FA Blueberry Juicy Ripe yet? How does it taste compared to FA Bilberry or the TPA Blueberrys (wild & extra)?
I'm going to try it this week and will be thinking about how it stacks up compared to those and also to some of my other favorites, like JF Blueberry, VT Bilberry Ripe, FW Blueberry, and HS Blueberry.
Its a pretty legit flavor, leaning a bit towards the more realistic side and fairly potent (compared to TFA Blueberry extra). In some mixes it was too overtaking around 1.25% and solo testing it got a little weird around 1.75%. I like combining it at 0.75%-1% with FLV Berry Blend at 0.5-0.75% in a custard mix. No idea about it fading, oldest mix is around 2 weeks and flavor is still holding.
FA mango indian special is prolly my favorite new flavor at least that I have worked with extensively. Oh oh does VT butter base count? That shit is crazy good. I am actually legit excited about this episode now but maybe it should be split between 2 weeks as there seems to be a ton of flavors.
NEW FLAVORS: Inw - lemon kicks MB - wild strawberry, white chocolate, red dragon grape, malibu pinacolada, nectar peach, rainbow sherbet, smores marshmallpw brownie, ugly deliscious. MB one shot WW Waffle (world war waffle maybe?) I pulled these from BCF new arrivals
There’s a gang of flavors in That flv pack alone I want to have or try. So big shout out to u/flavorah for doing this week after week. The growth and participation on this thread is legit overwhelming and positive. I love it.
As for the newer flavors, I don’t have a single one. I guess I’m doing a better job of choosing flavors wisely or just scaling back. Flavor acquisition syndrome is a strong beast. That said, there’s still at least 5-10 I’m looking forward to hearing about.
I'm anxious to try the lemon custard and the lemon tart. I hope they don't fade.
WF Lemon custard is delicious, and do you mean the MB lemon meringue tart? It's good, but I have trouble deciding if I like it better than VT lemon meringue tart or not. The MB one has more of a crust to it to me at least
Have you combined all three together?

I was a winner over a month ago and i'd wish to thank Noted and Flavorah for the package & u/ID10-T ofc. Especially i'd wish to thank the fantastic Bryson who had found a great way for shipping the package to Europe with close to none import duties paid at the end. Thank you guys, you rule. (needless to say that almost all of these new Flavorah are fantastic).
I'm interested in What you guys think about WF Cookie Butter. I just picked up a bottle of it the other day, I kept hearing people rave about this. I mixed up a tester @2.5%l this seemed weak to me. From what I got it tasted quite a bit like INW Bisciut in WF Cream custard, I was tasting VG. So I mixed it at 3% and it still seemed fairly weak the Biscuit element was a bit deeper and I got some nice butter notes here as well as the cream custard I was tasting. This was fresh off a shake, I'm going to revisit this in a few days and see if anything changes.
looking forward to that FA Mango Indian Special, see if it beats my own trinity sub for Abuela: (CAP) Sweet Mango 0.5% + (VTA) Shisha Mango 0.75% + (WF) Island Mango 0.5%
Shoutout to all the noted crew for all the work they do, saving us from the duds whilst making us have a great time!
Here's hoping WF gets that ameretto sour right... that would be awesome.
Here for the giveaway, hoping that a UK entry is allowed...

On another note, I've been trying out TFA Banana and seems to make a really good Banana Shake when mixed with TFA Dairy/Milk and a slight touch of the TFA Bavarian Cream, I think I used a little too much of the Bavarian Cream in my first attempt, seems to mute the Banana flavour a little bit. Although, it is still there, just not quite as punchy as I'd have liked.

I've also been playing with Boysenberry and Cherry, which have both worked out really well at the moment! Great to have some additional flavours which isn't my staple Orange based, Raspberry based, Mango based or Peach based mixes.
I really like real Indian Mango and can’t wait to get my fingers on FA Indian Mango. If the flavor taste only halfway like the fruit it will be amazing!
I’ve put some notes up for the Gin episode- they’re on last weeks FOTW for anyone who might find them useful. If you search by newest comment first they should be pretty easy to find.
I am sooo excited for this next episode. Ive been looking for reviews for the new MB and WF stuff. Can’t wait to hear about them!
I need to start getting more flavors that are newer, but I like my DAAP and v2s kinda take away from the original, but then again the v2's are sometimes better. I feel like there should be a noted about that.
So I also think we need to start being able to purchase that bucket hat.
Chemnovatic Lemon Cream Wafer is my jam. I've been working on a recipe with it incorporating Inawera Coconut Cookies. I've requested Bullcity to get some of the Chemnovatic line so hopefully they'll get them. Their Lemon and Vanilla Pudding are also really good.
I’ve been very pleased with WF products that I’ve tried. Bavarian cream I’d be interested in trying. Also would hope their Amaretto is good would like trying to create a good Amaretto and coke vape. Lastly yellow watermelon I tried it once when I was in Japan and that was the best dam watermelon I’d ever had.
I have the 12 new flavors from WF and must say that they are pretty good, already sft 11 of them and my best 3 are Cookie butter, strawberry cheesecake and lemon custard. Just got the VSO pumpkin...need to test that one very soon....Fresh seems to like it a lot so I have big expectation for that one!
Some new flavors I have tried (I believe they are new) are:
FA Mango Indian Special: This doesn't taste that much different to me than FA Mango. People claim it's less "funky" but they are both excellent mangoes to me and my pallete isn't refined enough to notice much difference. I'll have to side by side them...
VSO Pear: Very light and natural pear flavor. Has notes of sweet pear flowers to me. Great to add body to natural apples, grapes, and other fruits.
With all this chaos going on I haven't had the chance to try out new flavors and just stocked up on large bottles of old reliables just in case.
...and Gin seems to leave a bad hangover...only trumped by tequila! :)
I just mixed those two flavors up to enjoy today...then I'll try the regular FA Mango in its place and see... I'll post back later with my closer observations...
OK..I tried this recipe both ways..and ya know what? I prefer the original FA Mango! It is richer, juicier, and has more depth. I know..I must be a heathen... I mean they are both great, but I do prefer the original! At least off the shake. I can see that the MIS might be the "Mango" for those people that don't like real mangoes. It's more candy-like and not as natural. If the original FA Mango is "too funky and ripe" maybe just split it with the Mango Indian Special. That's always an option. Both definetly intensify over a 5 hour steep!
|Ingredient|%| |:-|:-| |Mango Indian Special (FA)|2.75| |Pear (VSO)|3.00| |Super Sweet (CAP)|0.50|

(Part 1) Noted Ep. 148: Flavour of the Quarter! (ft. Fresh03)
Despite the title, most of the flavours discussed this episode came out the end of last quarter as there wasn't much released this quarter.
INW Lemons Kick: Tastes like 7up, so like CAP Lemon Lime. But actually has some effervescence. More so than VT Fizzy Sherbet, which is slightly effervescent. This has a noticeable bubbly sensation on the tongue. Probably going to be very useful. Very pleasant. Not so much like FLV Citrus Soda, which is more like Mountain Dew. 3.51
TFA Creme de Menthe II: Tastes exactly like the first one. 5.14
JF Sweet Strawberry Cream: Not bad at all. But not a good option for pepper tasters. Definitely has some of their Sweet Strawberry in it. Couldn't identify which of their creams may have been in it. Needs 4-5 days steep. 7.13
VSO Banana: Nice soft banana. Really, really nice. 11.07
VSO Cherry: A legitimate cherry. Goes medicinal at 3% and above. Really good from 1%. 11.16
VSO Peach: Really nice, softer peach. No throat hit. 11.39
VSO Blackcurrant: Natural blackcurrant. Not like the almost fermented type flavour of FA Blackcurrant. More of a richer, slightly wild, almost blackberry-ish flavour. Really nice. 11.51
VSO Pear: Pretty flavourful pear, which is a bit odd. But still can be used in the way pear is often used, to add sweetness and moisture. Will brighten up an apple recipe and make everything sweeter. 12.24
VSO Blood Orange: Really nice, sweet, natural orange. 13.04
VSO Raspberry: Really, really nice. Doesn't get medicinal. 13.11
VSO Espresso: Does really great coffees in general. Finally released the Espresso as a solo flavour. Really, really good. Especially if you're looking for a good coffee you can use at higher wattages. 13.17
VSO Watermelon: Really nice, natural, sweet, juicy watermelon. 13.40
Chemnovatic Lemon Cream Wafer: Really good. One of their wholesale flavours that they are now selling to the public. A very recognisable lemon. Is the lemon that's in Dinner Ladies Lemon Tart eliquid. 14.25
CAP has released a V3 line. Let much tastes like their V1 or V2 counterparts. Might have taken something out of them, like the V2s? If so they did a good job as so similar to V1and V2.
CAP Brownie V3: Tastes like the V1, which they don't sell anymore. Hard to tell the difference. 16.46
CAP Lemon Meringue Pie V3: Didn't taste any different from the V2. Less sweet than the V1 17.10
CAP Vanilla Whipped Cream V2: Pretty solid. Had a little bit less butter.
(FA released Blueberry Fruity Candy and Mango Fruity Juicy, but nobody had tried them.)
FA Blueberry Juicy Ripe: Very good. Very natural, juicy blueberry. Very flavourful for a blueberry. Bold. A lot of the time have to push blueberries up really high and layer them. But this is a good, solid, single blueberry. Doesn't need any FA Bilberry that is often added to other blueberries to give natural ripeness and realism. Has some nice, brighter tartness on the front end. But also good, ripe depth. Probably not too bright to be used for a cooked blueberry. FA Liquid Amber would probably cook it. But as a SF really tastes more like a fresh one. Not especially juicy, considering the name. But not overly dry either. Very sweet, sweeter than a real blueberry. Probably not too sweet in most mixes though. Except maybe tobacco. Tested at 2%. Full flavoured at 2%. 19.12
FA Mango Indian Special: Not a lot of funk. Has a little peel, but not much. Nice, almost honey like sweetness. Thick. To some it's more of a natural mango. But is missing the pine-y note and the funky tropical ripeness. That's not necessarily a negative though. A little similar to DEL Mango, in that it's like a mango nectar and doesn't have the funkiness. Brighter and more flavourful than DEL. Also thicker, which is missing from a lot of mangoes. 22.06
FA Rhapsody: Going to discuss on the nonsense names episode. 24.23
WF released 12 at the end of last year. Going to be coming out with more soon. FLV also have some new releases coming out in the next few months. Will discuss them on the next FOTQ episode in August.
All of the flavours from the last release have a full mouthfeel and some depth. None are light or weak or thin.
WF Bavarian Cream SC: Going to discuss WF Bavarian Cream note fully in the Bavarian Cream episode in July. But Fresh says it's really, really good. Emily was pleasantly surprised by it. It's dark, rich, sweet, gooey. Fills your mouth. It's all the good things about TFA Bavarian Cream, plus all the good things about all the other Bavarian Creams- but better! 26.29
WF Blueberry Gummy Candy SC: Despite being an SC it's a weaker flavour. Not as chewy or nearly as bold or bright as WF Strawberry Gummy Candy. SGC is so useful as it doesn't taste like a strawberry candy, more like a strawberry fruit snack. The BGC has that same fruit snack quality. FA Blueberry Juicy Ripe could work really well to make it bolder. Would be a tasty pairing. Need to use at 5%. (Also need to use SGC at around 5%) 27.07
WF Cookie Butter SC: Great bakery additive. Not the cookie butter you get in a jar. Should be called 'butter for cookie'. Or Fresh calls it 'better bakery butter'. Tastes like the butter squeezed out of an undercooked sugar cookie, with a little bit of sweet, doughy, sugar cookie. Mostly a really good, yummy butter though. The perfect butter for bakeries. Can use it in any bakery you want. The little bit of bakery that is in it can be covered in something like a custard. Pretty sweet. Use about 0.5%. 29.09
Recipe: Wonderful Custard by Fresh03
WF Cream Custard SC: No custard. Smooth, sweet cream that has a bright, but fairly light vanilla note. Enjoyable, but probably would use it over CAP or TFA Sweet Cream, FLV Cream or especially VT Sweet Cream - which is the one it most resembles. Has some richness, a very light eggy note. Mainly a mouth feel flavour as it's very full. Could be used to add mouthfeel and weight to a bakery. But the brighter vanilla would have to fit into the mix Tested at 2%. Needs about 4 days steep. 32.55
WF Honey SC: ID10-T didn't care for it as gets a little bit of cat pee, prefers FA Honey. But not the consensus opinion. Emily's favourite honey as not as floral as FA. FA gets floral quickly. WF is deeper, more base-y, thicker. Not all that sweet and sticky for a honey. But could be a positive. Has richness and has a really nice honey flavour. Tested at 1%, 2% 35.03
WF Lemon Custard SC: Really nice. Has the lemon from WF Lemon Squares. It's like FA Custard, but improved. The lemon note is better, tastes like a bakery lemon or lemon curd that's cooked into the custard. It's richer, more silky, fuller, deeper. Smooth. The lemon isn't too strong, fairly light. Similar to how it is in the Lemon Squares, which was delicious but needed another lemon. Not a very eggy or heavily buttery custard. More like a pudding. Has a touch of a nice vanilla note. 37.02
(Part 2)
WF Malaysian Guava SC: Has a nice touch of earthiness. Pretty funky. Tastes like a sweet and tart, funky, tropical lemonade. Is not like CAP Sweet Guava. More lemonade-y. Doesn't have the deep, syrupy, sweet nectar element CAP does. Pretty sweet. Earthy, funky base with tart, tropical citrus notes up front. Nice muskiness, not butt hole musk WF Ripe Gala Melon has. Lingers a bit. Very pleasant flavour. But not very authentic to a guava. If the bottle was unlabelled couldn't identify what it was. Reminiscent of FLV Passion Fruit and not all the different from WF Passion Fruit. 39.14
WF Roasted Hazelnut SC: Going to discuss properly on Hazelnut episode next week. But it's a really nice roasted hazelnut. Has a little bit of scorched, almost smokiness to it. A really, really solid hazelnut. Almost has a creamy mouthfeel. Tested at 2%. 41.45
General rule with WF SC flavours, 1% for an note/accent, and 2% for full flavour. Some need to be pushed a bit higher, like Blueberry Gummy Candy. But most of the time 2% is good for SFT.
WF Strawberry Cheesecake SC: Very concentrated for WF. Fresh's favourite of the week. Strawberry tastes weak and a bit kiwi-ish, has some sourness before it's steeped, cheesecake also gets richer after steeping. Strawberry is similar to VT Glazed Strawberry. Then you get a rich, complete cheesecake. Can taste every part of the cheesecake. The strawberry comes in afterwards. Could add a brighter, more top heavy strawberry, like WF Juicy Strawberry. It is very cheesy, which may turn some people off. Start at 0.8% for an accent in a mix and work up from there. Can use as a one shot at 2.5%. Needs between 1-1.5 weeks steep.
WF Juicy Strawberry SC: Really nice. Fairly artificial. It's similar to FA Strawberry Juicy, but sweeter and slightly more artificial. FA tried to walk the line between natural and artificial, whereas WF goes the more artificial route. Thick and sweet. It's top heavy and bright. Which can be really useful as strawberry can get pulled back into a mix. This is good if you want strawberry right at the front of a mix. Works really well with WF Strawberry Cheesecake. Has a lot of EM type sweetness, so probably not suitable for strawberry mutes. 47.48
WF Vanilla Custard SC: Tastes a bit like flan. Has a really good dark, caramel sweetness. Almost like a caramel sauce. Very sweet, very eggy, smooth vanilla custard underneath the caramel sweetness. Very similar to the custard and the darker french vanilla in WF Vanilla Ruyan Custard without the tobacco. Nowhere near as much butteriness as FA Custard Premium. So huge fans of FA may miss that. Very thick and rich, but not a butter type richness. The dark sweetness may not work with brighter fruits. But would probably work for all other custard applications. ID10-T likes it as much as CAP VC. It's not as obnoxiously oily, its darker. It's just as sweet as TFA VC II. Only takes 4 days to steep. 50.49
(WF Flan is gross!)
WF Watermelon Yellow SC: Going to discuss further on the watermelon episode in July. Has incredibly nice juicy mouthfeel. A hint of floral, but pretty easy to hide in a mix. A nice, mellow, not overly sweet watermelon. A lot of watermelons are super punchy, so a really good choice if you're looking for something more mellow to add a melon note. Not overly rind-y. If you want more rind can add FLV Melon Rind. 53.42
MB Apricot: Wonderful. Slightly dry, almost like a dried apricot. But still has some softness. Has the same concentrated sweetness like a dried apricot. 56.11
MB Blueberry Jam: A solid blueberry jam. Fairly jammy texture. Have to use around 5-6% 56.36
MB Candy Tutti Fruitti: Like a tutti fruitti gum. 56.54
MB Classic Belgian Waffle: Going to discuss further on syrup delivery system episode in August. Currently the best Belgian waffle flavour on the market. It's malty, has vanilla note. Tastes like a Belgian waffle. Better than the old INW Waffle according to Fresh! 57.09
MB Classic Cornflakes: Far too dry and had a weird spice. ID10-T got a floral honey flavour, really disliked it. Use CAP Cereal 27 if you want cornflakes. 58.38
MB Classic Sponge Cake: Wonderful and very useful. Sponge cake with crispy, browned edges. More of a ever so slightly over cooked but cake than a buttery sponge cake. Taste mostly the crunchy edges with a full and grainy mouthfeel. Fresh uses it for the browned edge note, which is something that's missing from most other sponge cake flavours. Adds it to MB Classic Belgian and doughnut recipes. Nic Vapes Old Fashioned Doughnut works amazingly with MB CSC for a plain cake doughnut. If you wanted just cake WF cake flavours would be better options. 59.50
MB Coctail Kiwi Fruit: Fresh loves it, ID10-T doesn't. Tastes like kiwi juice, which doesn't taste exactly like a fresh kiwi. It stacks really well with other kiwis. Makes FW Kiwi taste more natural and FA Kiwi taste more ripe. Has some funkiness. ID10-T got a yoghurt sourness, Fresh got more of a kiwi tartness. Very, very sweet. Has a little tartness. 1.01.34
(Part 3)
MB Creamy Greek Yoghurt: One of Fresh's favourite yogurts. Absolutely outstanding. It's the yoghurt that's in MB Pineapple Lassi. It's creamy, smooth. It's not a Greek yoghurt, but it's a good yoghurt flavour. Should be called Creamy Yoghurt. Better than FLV Greek Yoghurt, sweeter, hint of vanilla. Nice mouthfeel. 1.03.02
MB Frozen Black Forest Fruits: Maybe should have been one of their M line (one shot) flavours. It's a pretty complete flavour. Not sure where you'd use it in a mix? Dark berries with WS23 cooling. Cooling fairly up front, doesn't continue all the way through the vape like Polar Blast. Very nice, sweet dark berry. No particular berry stands out above the others. But could be a good background to whatever main berry note you wanted to add. Could add VSO Blackberry, which would really compliment everything. But seems like it would have limited uses outside of that kind of application. 1.04.16
MB Galaxy Cheesecake (one shot): Hazelnut cheesecake with an underlying berry sweetness. A really nice one shot if that sounds good to you. 1.06.07
MB Pink Grapefruit: According to Fresh it's outstanding. A complete red grapefruit flavour. Fresh added some FA Star Anise really low, which gave it a fleshy note. ID10-T prefers FW Ruby Red Grapefruit, FA, INW and VT Grapefruit. Thought it was extremely sweet. Would only use it as a grapefruit sweetener. Fresh didn't think it was overly sweet. 1.07.08
Fresh got the idea to put grapefruit and anise together from 'The Flavour Bible'.
MB Raspberry Revolution Honey Berry: Semi floral honey up front with a soft, candied raspberry in the background. Pleasant. Raspberry artificial, but mellow. Would have liked more berry. Tested at 6% 1.09.33
MB Honeydew: Pretty mellow. Not violent like TFA Honeydew. Doesn't overwhelm a mix. Tastes like honeydew. 1.10.20
MB Jelly Candy: Typical jelly candy flavour. Made to be an additive. Has a bit of a citrus note. Which can work well to brighten up other fruits. Probably don't need it if already have CAP Jelly Candy. CAP also has a little citrus. 1.11.13
MB Lemon Tart: Fresh got more of a lemon cake. Very good lemon cake. More of a fluffier cake rather than a lemon pound cake. Would work well with MB Classic Sponge Cake to give it some browned edges. 1.11.55
MB make good lemon flavours.
MB Lychee and Dragonfruit: Hadn't tried it. 1.12.37
MB Mellow Chilli Mango (one shot): Surprisingly tasty. Fairly authentic to the Mexican chilli candies. Has a little bit of heat. Not like OOO Chilli, which is like mace. 1.13.02
MB Spicy White (one shot): Harsh, spicy, chilli flavour up front. Decent white chocolate. Same mellow, candied raspberry as in MB Raspberry Revolution Honey Berry. Has a good mouthfeel. But has harsh throat hit from the spice. Emily thought it was a gross combination. 1.13.52
MB Original Lemonade: Not bad. At 3% Fresh found it to have part artificial, County Time style lemonade and part authentic lemon. Kind of like a cross between FLV and FW Lemonade. FW, unusually, being the more natural tasting. At 4% ID10-T thought it was more similar to LA Lemonade, like Lemon Heads candy. Tested at 4%. Fresh recommends 3% as being a more optimal place for it. Can go candy-ish. 1.14.41
MB Rubin Lemonade is amazing. Fresh recommends it.
MB Premium Green Tea: Hadn't tried it. 1.15.57
MB Queen Delicate Pineapple: The pineapple from MB Pineapple Lassi. Sweet, candied, artificial pineapple (MB Funky Pineapple is more natural). ID10-T got white gummy bear. Similar to CAP 27 Bears or various dragonfruit flavours. Also picked up a slight liquorice note in the background. 1.16.08
MB Rocket Popsicle: Decent, light cherry flavour. Almost like white cherry Power-aid. Hint of blue raspberry. Not a Bomb Pop. 1.17.11
MB Bing Cherry is a really good cherry.
MB Raspberry Revolution Soda Berry: Sweet, candy peach up front, nice, thick, syrupy sweetness. Followed by the same, soft, artificial raspberry that's in MB Raspberry Revolution Honey Berry and MB Spicy White. Has a bit of an astringent bite to it, in the same way some natural peach flavours can be. But it's a bit of of place as the peach is so artificial and candied, as is the raspberry. Or maybe they're trying to go for an effervescent quality? 1.18.00
MB Soft Baked Cookie Base: The cookie note from MB Cookie Bite. Really nice, rich, brown cookie. Almost like a molasses cookie, but not molasses. Just a dark sweetness. Lends itself really well to other cookies. Some may enjoy it on its own, but probably predominantly an additive to other cookies. Very good though. 1.19.30
(Fresh used a little Soft Baked Cookie Base, a little WF Cookie Butter and some WF Chocolate Chunks and got very close to a chocolate chip cookie.)
MB The Most Sweet Cream: A nice, rich sweet cream. There's a lot of sweet creams on the market, many of which do a better job than this, VT being one of them. But still a good cream. Would be a good sub for TFA Sweet Cream. It's richer and more forgiving than TFA - which gets cheesy quickly. 1.20.44
MB Thick Vanilla Cream: Like ice cream after about 10 days steep. In between generic, store brand ice cream and gourmet ice cream. Doesn't really compare to LB VIC or HS French VIC. Fresh prefers it to CAP VIC or TFA VBIC. 1.12.45
MB Yellow Cake: Might be as close of a sub to FW Yellow Cake as there is. Really nice, spongey-ness. Vanilla cake. Very close to OOO Yellow Cake. Could buy one or the other. Fresh thinks it's better than JF Yellow Cake. Would work well with MB Classic Sponge Cake to give it some browned edges. 1.22.30
MB Zesty Lemongrass: Really nice lemongrass. More authentic than FLV Lemongrass. Hint of spiciness, but has natural green-ness. Would work really well with green teas. 1.23.55
Fresh's Recommendations:
WF line- if it sounds good to you get it, you'll probably like it. They're all good.
Stand-outs: WF Vanilla Custard WF Cookie Butter WF Strawberry Cheesecake WF Juicy Strawberry
MB Classic Sponge Cake MB Classic Belgian Waffle MB Creamy Greek Yoghurt MB Kiwi Coctail (if you like kiwi) MB Soft Baked Cookie Base
Dunno what to type here other than I want to win free stuff and forgot to post on reddit the past 2-3 weeks. :)
"Looked over that list of new flavors and X looks really interesting to me" would have been a good place to start but this bit of honesty is fine, I guess.
Well if I win, you can say your piece then too! :) You have a way with words, which is why I watch your show. It's entertaining. I share your fan fics of politicians with a friend of mine who has never vaped. I almost bought all of the FLV flavor bundles when I started but I do have a little red bin full of them now. So, if I do win, I will have to rewatch EVEN MORE Noted to see what has been dumped on, what is good, and where to store the rest. :)
I just purchased some newer flavors to me this week, but totally spaced out grabbing anything coffee related. Doh.
My new flavors are:
FLV Cotton Candy, FW Hazelnut, LA Cream Cheese Icing, CAP Jelly Candy, LB Blue Raspberry, MB American Bubblegum, CAP Sweet Tangerine, FA Blood Orange, and a Black Cherry.
This beverage pack is a good one to give away. Good idea Dave! These seem to be more of the types of flavors newer mixers my put off from buying at first, so there a good chance people don’t have these... I don’t have a lot of them and I hope I win! Thanks for the opportunity!
hoping this is the thread i keep hearing to comment on while watching Noted i have got a few of the new ones like the 3 pak deal from FA for rhapsody, indian mango and the blueberry rhapsody i could see working where you need a black tea note i need to get tfa van custard 2 badly
