> Important COVID-19 update from River Supply Co.
> As of March 31st 2020 our county, Ventura County has implemented a revised and extended version of their Stay Well At Home order. Unfortunately this order will impact us starting April 2nd 2020 and will momentarily prohibit the operation of River Supply Company. Any new orders placed on April 2nd 2020 and after will not be fulfilled till at least April 19th 2020 or till otherwise noted by Ventura County. There will be no exception to this rule as this applies to all customers on all levels. Although we will not be in the office to answer phones, our Customer Service and Sales team is still working from home and can be contacted via email.
It's also worth noting that Liquid Barn also operates out of Ventura County and the same order applies there. I'm not sure if they're going to continue operating anyway or if they have a way around it, I just wanted to point out that they're in the same county and a county order is what closed River.
Picked up a gallon each of PG/VG as well as 200mls of nic about a week ago which just arrived today from LB. Feeling pretty fortunate that I ordered when I did.
I was able to place an order on LB today. I also saw a post from Humble Juice, who is also based out of Ventura County, and they seem to be operating as well.
Good to know. I've got two theories about this: either River (being a big supplier) has to close because they're an employer with a location and all the awesome small business accoutrements and had to shut down for that reason, where as LB and Humble are smaller businesses that either are or are being made home-based and are therefore exempt OR the others in the county are just ignoring the order, in which case they may get shut down later. Who knows.
I'm on the other side of the country in a state that has extremely strict business closures in place and I know absolutely nothing about California, so I could be talking out my ass here but that's my little bit of speculation based on what would happen if these companies were located where I am.
I just emailed them this morning - they are doing their best to fulfill any orders that came in prior to today by close of business tomorrow (Friday).
Great news, thank you!
Yep. They even offered me an immediate refund if I wanted to cancel now, or a refund later if I don't want to wait until the reopen. It's beyond their control and I think they're handling it quite well.
EDIT: Quick update, I just got the email saying my order has shipped (minus one flavor, which I'm not too worried about under the circumstances - I'll get plenty of mileage out of what's left). I ordered late in the day on 3/31 (Tuesday), so if you ordered before that I'm sure you'll be fine. They may even get into tomorrow's orders before they close.
r/DIYclassifieds exists if people want to use it for any of this related stuff. it was started after the previous one was shut down by Reddit. as long as you don't advertise nicotine it's all good.
definitely looking for any mods that want to help out as well.
Man, that sub is dead. They got a discord now
Do you have a link to the discord?

Oh no, was going to place a order. Does anyone know a reliable place I can find hangsen French vanilla ice cream?? Bull city is out.
So I placed my order in the 1st. Does that mean it won't ship out until the stay home order is over? I can't wait that long. Any other good places to order from? Any other place I've checked only has 10ml concentrate sizes, no 15ml.
I have an order that was placed late yesterday, so I'll update you if mine either ships or is cancelled. I don't have the answer unfortunately, you'd have to shoot them an email (sorry, can't link it but their contact info is in the site footer)
EDIT: My 4/1 order shipped! Thanks, River Supply!
It says that orders placed on the 2nd will not be fulfilled until the 19th, so I would think that would mean you got your order in just in time.
If it weren't for already having stocked up for the vapocalypse months ago, this temporary supply disruption might have been a problem.
LNW is still filling orders at this time, but who knows for how much longer. If you need anything soon, I highly recommend you place your order immediately.
