I've been doing abit of a research and looking to get my feet wet into DIY juices.
Before I take the plunge and grab all the tools needed I was going to get some pre-mix vg/pg nic juice and add flavoring.
I noticed that LiquidBarn has 500 ML of the pre-mixed.
Now I was curious does the 3mg PurNic from riversupplyco would basically be 50/50 3mg or am I misunderstanding?
You can get it 50/50 from RS. That's one of their 3 options. Before you take the plunge you should read up more on Premixed Bases. And the rest of the FAQ, if you're interested in doing research.
Hey guys thanks for all the help its greatly appreciated. After doing some more reading and your guys recommendations I've decided to just go with pg / vg / vg nic base and mix my own.
Any brands that come highly recommended?
Brands of what, nic? Chemnovatic or Carolina Extracts. Flavor? VT, FLV, INW, FA, HS, CAP, TFA..
VG? USP VG is USP VG, brands don't really matter. Note: edited for formatting for the idiot that doesn't know how to read and claimed my "brands don't matter" was about something other than VG.
Brands do in fact matter considering they have the same flavor name and all have a different take on that flavor.
Ease up on the comment a bit. He said he was new. Snarky bombardment of questions when he clearly said he is new doesn't help...
Problem is, he wasn't clear in the question. And one top of that, every flavor company has bad flavors, annd even a company like FW that mostly makes stuff that shouldn't be used for vapjng will put out something like FW Blueberry. And then there's LA Lemonade. While FLV has Fungus Cereal and VT has Gold Rum. People need tl research each individual flavor, not just blindly order from just one company.
If you buy 3 mg pre mixed you will never have a 3 mg juice. Better to just buy the nicotine base or at least buy twice the strength you want, so you can add some PG/VG in addition to the flavoring and get the strength you are looking for, the calculations for that would still be really easy.
But there are plenty of mixing calculators available as well which makes things pretty simple when working with high strength nic base, which is a lot more economical to use and still almost as easy.
Every batch I've ever gotten from Liquid Barn has either been oxidized on arrival or very shortly thereafter. I'd recommend someone else. Also I'd highly recommend reading up on the Premixed Bases linked by u/Apexified and a quick google of v/v% mixtures.
Don't buy nic from liquid barn, I didn't have any luck with them. I suggest NicRiver nka riversupply. A note about premixed vg/pg, remember the PG amount in the mix will not be your final pg %. Most flavorings are pg so your total flavors % would add to the premixed PG %
If we're going to go off anecdotal evidence from one person, definitely do get your nic from liquid barn. I've had nothing but good experiences and they usually give me free shipping. I've never had a problem with liquid barn.
I was not the 1st to say something about having bad experience with liquid barn so if I'm up for being attacked so should the other(s)
