Im still very new to crafting my own original recipes. But as to not waste supplies I'm looking for some guidance, to me, this recipe is very close right now. It's simple but to the point, the only thing is the raspberry is lacking and I'm unsure if maybe the lemonade base flavorings should come down a bit or if I should boost the raspberry. Here's what I am working with:
3% LA Lemonade 2% CAP - Lemon Sicily 1.5% FA - Raspberry 0.5% CAP - Super sweet
I think the best thing you can do for your raspberry lemonade is add a sweet strawberry. Cap sweet strawberry, flavor jungle sweet strawberry, or even TFA strawberry ripe. It will brighten up the dark fruit side of that mix a lot.
s/best/worst
Use a good flavor like FA Blackcurrant or FLV Boysenberry to berry up your raspberry if you think it needs it. Don't ruin raspberry by adding ~~strawberry~~ass flavor.

sounds like you need at least a little bit more raspberry essence/body in order for it to come out against the lemonade. you have a good base to lay the raspberry on, so i think the cap rasp in combination with another rasp like inawera raspberry, and a touch of strawberry to round it out could help.
I agree. INW shisha raspberry would be good for a lemonade mix. Start at .5% though cause it’s a really strong flavor.
Bump the LA Lemonade to 5% Replace lemon Sicily with .5% INW Lemon Mix Add .5-1.5% INW Raspberry Shisha
You may want to add .25-.5% of FA Blackcurrant or FLV Boysenberry to make the raspberry flavors a little more red.
And of course add cooling. Hot lemonade is more like NeoCitran.
Why do you suggest lemon mix over lemon sicily ?
INW lemon Mix is a great lemon zest flavor that lasts, and makes a great lemonade component. I've mixed many lemonades, lemon mix is my goto lemon zest for them.
Mmmmm raspberry! INW Raspberry is essential. Also, FA Forest Fruit at low % makes a holy trinity with INW and FA Raspberry. Can consult my recipes later if you are interested in the proportions :)
I definitely want to here more about this raspberry trinity.
I've been using INW Raspberry at 2%, FA Raspberry at 1.5% and FA Forest Fruit Mix at 0.5%. If you like more sweetness to it, try ethyl maltol or a tiny bit of strawberry, but those three imo makes a solid raspberry base :)
A possible (but untested) sub for FA Forest Fruit could be CAP Harvest Berry
personally ditched la lemonade attempts alway had an off putting flavor for me
3 % fa lemon sicily and 3 % cap raspberry was my jam one summer ... not sure how those match up but cap raspberry is rather strong and sweet 3% is on the high end and can turn into perfume easy.

I would suggest testing it without the la lemonade and see where it is sitting my experience was adding more just made the mix more and more muddy
You might consider adding another raspberry, like INW Malina (which is awesome) or TFA Raspberry to boost the profile and round it out a bit. I like FA Raspberry, but I've always felt it was a little dry, for lack of a better term.
Malina Raspberry is a terrible choice for a lemonade. It's more floral than berry.
I appreciate your thoughts on the matter. What would you recommend instead?
Okay then, we have a strawberry hater on board. Do you have a bunch of dark fruits? Personally I have had good successes bumping up raspberry fruits with small amounts of strawberry. We all have our own pallets, there is zero absolutes. Any of the WF jams would bump up that dark fruit in a lemonade. FLV jammy berry will give you great results as well. Honestly there are so many profiles that will go great with LA lemonade, it's almost an impossible question to answer. We all have are own answer.
