Does FA white peach have alcohol in it?
submitted over 5 years ago by iowajosh

My shake and vape attempts are not going well. Everything I read says it is a great flavor.

Not going well how?

As a single flavor it is unimpressive but it can work nicely as an accent. I tend to use it at 1% and under in combination with FA Peach at a 1:1 ratio in order to give it more depth.

Yes, but it's not the alcohol that's responsible for the harsh notes that some people experience from peach flavors. Sorry to inform you, it sounds like you have u/juthinc syndrome and won't be able to enjoy any peach flavor very much.

At which percentage did you mix it u/iowajosh?

White peach accents the fa. Makes the peach more authentic and less like gummy peach slices. I did a 3:1 white peach/fa peach and added some flv apricot at .25 to round it out👌

That’s just the info I was looking for myself. I picked up FA White Peach recently and was just thinking of combining apricot and peach to round out the flavor. Thanks for confirming my hunch. Any recipes you can recommend that do this well to get some more info/ experience ? Would be greatly appreciated!

Hmm. Well i mixed mine with 2 flv tobaccos , tatanka and cured tobacco. Put some cap danish on it to match the bakery with the tatanka tobacco. Than thickened it with some cap sugar cookie. 2.0 cap sugar cookie 3.0 flv tatanka .75 cap danish .75 fa peach 2.0 fa white peach .25 flv apricot .75 flv cured tobacco If tobacco isnt your thing, remove the tobacco and add a custard maybe🤷‍♂️

I heard nectarine goes very good with peach. Good choice

I let white peach sit for at least 3 to 7 days. Makes it less harsh. As far as I know it does have alcohol. You could try letting it vent for about 15 to 30min and see if it helps.

It might just not be for you, that flavor is kinda harsh and tastes more like peach skin to me.

Most peach and pit fruit flavors are harsh to most people. Nectarine, apricot, peach are all guilty of this.

White peach is possibly the king of peach flavors and I use it often. That being said, it is harsh to me relatively.

I can cut the effect by using as little PG as absolutely possible and by making it lower nicotine than I would normally use. It will still be present.

May I ask what the mix/recipe you used was?

Using 1% white peach plus a milder, less true peach like CAP juicy peach can get decent results with less kick.

Also, using Mango or other tropical fruits in small amounts in conjunction can result in a very similar end taste with less burn. FLV Mango at .25-.5 for example is great for this trick without heavily tweaking the profile. Papaya and Guava both have potential too.

Citrus flavors often have the same issue as pit fruits, but can also be used as mango or tropical fruits in small amounts to amplify peach flavor while reducing harshness. Lemon and orange can offer some aspects of pit fruits in real small amounts. Anything to reduce the concentration of pit fruits needed to get the end result makes a big difference in harshness.

Creams/dairy/bakery flavors can actually help too by reducing necessary concentration of pit fruits.

Even 'juicy' flavors like INW cactus, TFA Dragonfruit, CAP cucumber, melons, and pears can be used in low concentration to help round out the juicy/moist effect can balance pit fruits and let you get away with less.

Don't give up on peaches/pit fruits. The burn is tricky to work around, but it can be done even if its hitting you harder than most. It took some experimentation from me, but damn do I love FA white peach these days. INW apricot too is a frequent tool despite being even harsher imo.

Try a roundabout approach.

INW peach is fairly harsh but good too like FA white peach. I find using them together can get me a very similar result with less burn.

Thanks for those deep thoughts. You have really put some thought in it, wow. I did just get INW peach and thought it was gentler but only tried it at 1% fresh mixed. Thanks.

It's not a good flavor. It's a peach flavor. Those two are polar opposites.

13 downvotes is, though...who'd have guessed so many would have such strong opinions about a flavor that I've never considered terribly noteworthy.
