As always, the purpose of this thread is to gather the community to explore a category of flavor and its many uses. And it's also to have FUN!
Post recipes containing this week's Flavor of the Week, as the star or in a supporting role, with or without development notes. Talk about other people's recipes that use it. Compare and contrast different manufacturers' versions of the FOTW. Ask for help using that flavor in general or to achieve something specific, offer advice, brainstorm ideas, consider substitutions, suggest pairings... really anything at all as long as it's on topic.

I should try that jelly candy gin vape you told me not to do. Yes. I think I might indeed.
Why do you have to be so weird
The way I see it you have two choices: (1) opt in or (2) suffer the critique when it’s only 60% ‘there’. It’s not looking good for you either way, pal.
I'm excited for this one. I've been wanting to make a good fruity gummy vape.
Do you have any gummy candy-type flavors yet?
We have Cap jelly candy Fw gummy bear Cap licorice Tfa red licorice Rf sour gummy Cap 27 bears
You can make a ton of stuff with CAP Jelly Candy and CAP 27 Bears.
Those all look really good to me and I wish I had time to try them all.
Gummy candy is one of my favourite profiles!
Heres a recipe I have on ATF is anyone is interested :)

https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/181005#blueberry_gummy_candy_v2_by_hexical
And heres one ive been working on in live mixing with a few people!
https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/share/5b7fcede-234e-487e-a1cb-5f71d1188baa
I think you need VT Boysenberry and WF Sour Blue Raspberry Candy in your life.
Oh man I actually already have both of those - ive used sour blue raspberry candy but not boysenberry
Ok, I'm going to suggest something and if I'm way wrong about it being an improvement over what you've got going there so far, I want to you humiliate me mercilessly because I deserve it.
- 6.5% WF Sour Blue Raspberry Candy
- 0.75% VT Boysenberry
- 1.5% CAP Jelly Candy
- 1.5% TFA Marshmallow
- 1.5% TFA Juicy Peach
- 0.5% TFA Vanilla Swirl
- 0.5% CAP Lemon Lime
I'm not suggesting that this would be perfect by any means, just that it should be better than what you've got so far and would be a good place to start a new version and adjust from there.
I only have 3 gummy flavors, 27 bear, 27 fish and wonder flavors sour gummy candy... I'm not a fan of 27 bear, taste chemical to me...27 fish is pretty good and I can't stand sour gummy Candy but my girlfriend loves it! I mix 6% of that stuff with .25% cap super sweet...she vape 120ml of that a month...haha
This might change your mind about the Sour Gummy Candy, or at least impress your girlfriend: https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/148536#boyz_n_the_hood_sour_patch_kids_by_silky
I haven't tried it since Silky made some very minor adjustments but the earlier version was already really good. Like a handful of sour patch kids with most of the sour licked off - I don't think it's possible to get anywhere close to that full mouth puckering sour in a vape but this at leasts gives a nod to it and the candy otherwise is on point.
That mix was really good i must say...I sub inw lemon mix for fa lemon sicily and of the shake it was nice but after 2 days lemon sicily was gone and without the hint of citrus the recipe is very flat and boring. I will order inw lemon mix next time....but yeah that mix change my mind about sour gummy candy and I will mix with it more often in the coming weeks.
I have FLV Peach Gummy and WF Peach Gummy Candy SC. I've been meaning to make a peach and ginger gummy candy, probably with FLV Ginger and VT Ginger Root. I guess I'll get started mixing and hopefully have something by the end of the week.
I think VT Ginger Root might be a touch too much like realistic fresh squeezed raw ginger juice for that, but maybe not. If the sweet syrupy FLV Ginger's spiciness gets a bit buried in peach that VT would be a good thing to have on hand to punch it right back up. Good luck with this!
People will say, "Why didn't you use FLV Ginger Peach?" If you haven't already tried it and found out for yourself, I can help with that: Because it mostly tastes like cream soda.
Yeah you were right about VT Ginger Root. It won't bind to the gummy, just tastes like raw ginger. I was hoping it would connect with FLV Ginger better, but this is the second time I've tried that combination, and it didn't work either time.

|Co.|Flavour Name|%| |:-|:-|:-| |FLV|Ginger|1.5| |INW|Peach|1| |FLV|Peach Gummy|2| |FW|Peach Gummy Candy SC|3|
This is version 3. I'm out of ideas at this point. I tried less FLV Ginger, adding TFA Marshmallow, replacing INW Peach with TFA Peach (Juicy), and different percentages of the gummy candies. Neither of them is very peachy, but they both have a nice gummy mouth feel.
I'm thinking that I'm missing the right ginger for this recipe. I need a candied ginger. FLV Ginger is too floral at 1.5%, but it wasn't doing what I wanted at lower percentages. From u/Loonicorn420's notes, it sounds like HS Ginger is the way to go, but my regular supplier doesn't carry it.
At this point I would rather replace the ginger with TFA Marshmallow and just have it be peach rings. The ginger isn't working the way I expected it to.
So I went and got ahead of myself! It got so bad I had peaches muting themselves out. I had a big long recipe that tastes pretty good, not what I hoped for. My God I stooped all the way down to sweet woodruff and nature flavors ginger. All that said, mix #5, I wanted to focus more on the main profile, sweet ginger with simple peach gummy. Here is where I'm at. It's more subtle then I would like but it's good! Keep it simple stupid!!
•FLV peach gummy @3%
•Cap sweet candy @2%
•FW Ginger Ale @1%
•Cap super sweet @1%
•INW peach @1%
Not much there but I get the heat from the ginger on my tongue, and the roof of my mouth is coated with sweet peach gummy.
I’m new to DIY but isn’t it sort of true that at certain increments most fruit flavors can take on that quintessential “gummy” flavor?
No
Take INW Raspberry Malina above .5% and you're gonna be vaping cologne, not candy. And I've never heard of gummi bears gang raping a throat like a lot of Juicy Razorblades.
Generalizations make things simple...but eventually you'll encounter significant exceptions.
My first public recipe, please be gentle :)

Also a big shout out to the Noted crew, (Dave, you're my spirit animal) Wayne, everyone here on the reddit and especially everyone over at the DIY_eJuice discord. Thank you so much for all the help and inspiration!
I'd give that a try! The only thing about it that makes me a little nervous is the 0.25% Cactus as that's sometimes too much but sometimes just right. But even if it did taste like too much off a shake it would most likely calm down after a few days.
So I've got all of it except for the cactus- thinking about using a sub of even parts TFA Dragonfruit and FA Pear, prob around 0.5% of each to try and mimic the enhancement properties you were pulling from the cactus. Any thoughts on mixing with the subs (maybe just pear perhaps?), or just go with your recipe minus cactus.
Pear might work but you would have to play with it to where you got the juiciness but no pear flavor, but it could work. Dragonfruit is a great idea, goes well with strawberry and helps to blend everything together. If i were in your situation i would personally try TFA Dragonfruit at 0.5% and see what happens, if it is missing the juicy quality try some pear on top (maybe .25%?) I would just be careful not to go over with the pear as it would throw this recipe off. Hope this helps, honestly without the cactus you will get the same type of flavor, the cactus just kind of boosts it for me.
This is going to inspire me to make a gummy recipe. I love gummy things so I'm looking forward to giving it a go.
Haribo Grapefruit gummies, please. I need that in vape form. Or their Ginger Lemon gummies. Or their Smurfs. Or Trolli Tropic O's. Or any Kasugai gummy but especially mango, muscat white grape, kiwi, lychee, or strawberry.
Grapefruit gummies? Maybe some VT Honey Pomelo + Cap Jelly Candy?
I use 27 fish & bear and Red Licorice, Fish is the best one for me. Wayne's Swedish Fishes is very good. Also Red Lic and the fish can make this tasty treat called Lic Her... ish that taste just like red vines, twizzlers and its dam good. I came up with this called Forest Fish The 27 bears I get nothing from it won't buy again trying to use up what I have left with 27 Bears 6.5% Cactus .3% ss .3%...
Noted Ep. 139: GUMMY CANDY (ft. Forment Life)
From worst to first. Ranked by everyone, so may be a bit out of order.
FW Gummy Bear (Gummi Bear): Everyone agreed this was the worst. 30% sugar syrup. Tastes terrible. Does taste like gummy bears but with strong vinyl, plastic off note, like in many cherry flavours. Also has a wheat off note. (7.47)
DV Gummy Candy: Not bad, just meh. Not sweet enough, a little astringent. Generic fruitiness. (10.04)
TFA Gummy Candy: Chemical, plastic off note. Can be used to make fruits gummy. But better options. Bitter after taste that lingers and can't be covered - gets worse with higher wattages. May work in a pod or small MTL device? Use around 0.5%. Perfumey over 1%. (11.24)
OOO Strawberry sour Belts: Controversial placement. Popular flavour. Tastes vinegary at 4% to ID10-T due to the malic acid content. Not a candy type of sour. Nice, sweet gummy candy strawberry. (15.13)
Bickford Gummy Bear: Mostly generic fruit with slight pineapple. Overly sweet. Nothing that distinguishes it as candy, no candy mouthfeel. Just sweetness. Plastic off note at higher %. Tested at 3.5% and 4.5%. (17.51)
WF Cola Gummy: Lacks a bit of thick chewiness for a gummy. Missing gummy flavour, could use in a cola recipe. Decent cola flavour, sweet. Although a little softer, could be bolder. But could use layered with another cola to add more depth- FA or LB Cola Freeze would work well. (19.12)
CAP Jelly Candy: Useful additive but can be a bit hard to get % right and doesn't work in every situation. Makes fruits in jelly candy. Texture not quite gummy, more pectin based jelly, fluffy, lighter texture. As a SF like unflavoured Jello with slight citrus/ pineapple edge which can help to make other fruits pop. Start at 0.5-0.75%. At 1.5% starts to get soapy. 4% unvapeable. (21.11)
WF Sour Gummy: Not really sour- tart green apple skin note. Sticky, sweet body. But not especially thick and chewy, but has gummy flavour. No throat hit. Could be a good start to an apple rings recipe. Tested at 2% and 3%. At 4% apple note starts to go chemically. Can use up to just below 4%. (25.02)
PUR Gummy Candy: Would rank below the previous few flavours. Not a gummy candy, more Smarties. When it's pushed high enough to sell it the off notes become too aggressive to overlook. (26.56)
LB Sour Gummy: Would rank this below WF Sour Gummy. LB suggest using at 17%. Don't! Terrible plastic off notes. At 8% thin, astringent, sweet, candy flavour- not great. Not sour- a little tartness. At 5% no plastic off note, a little waxy, not very thick, sticky, sweet but thin. No gummy texture. May work as an additive to make fruit taste gummy as has authentic gelatin, gummy top note. But needs something else to fill it out. There's better options. Tested at 8%. (28.14)
WF Frog Gummy: Should be ranked a lot higher? Thick, gummy texture. Half peach gummy and half vanilla marshmallow - like the gummy candies with marshmallow on the bottom. Like their Peach Gummy. Darker sweetness than in peach gummy rings. Slight peach harshness but smooth. Tested at 3%. Use around 2-3.5% (30.40)
WF Gummy Worm Candy: Soft, sweet, but more waxy than gummy. A little thin. Has some depth. Petty accurate to cheap, waxy gummy worms. Mostly red gummy worm flavour. Might be a good additive to make fruits gummy. Better than LB Sour Gummy Candy for that as WF is thicker. Use around 2-3%. Strong plastic off note at 5%. Tested at 2%, 4% and 5%. (33.06)
WF Blueberry Gummy Candy: Should be ranked higher? Great blueberry note. Very tasty, full chewy texture, sticky. As much organic blueberry fruit snack as it is gummy candy as the blueberry is pretty natural. Versatile- can be used for other things besides candies- blueberry pie to add stickiness to filling. Needs another flavour to make it authentic gummy candy- WF Gummy Worm Candy? Recipe: Brookside Blues by ID10-T- used FW Blueberry but WF Blueberry Gummy Candy would be a better option. Tested at 5% with no off notes by ID10-T. (Although Forment got plastic off note even at lower %s.) (35.16)
CAP 27 Bears: Good flavour. Petty authentic white, pineapple gummy bear. But unbalanced, heavy on artificial pineapple and low on actual gummy. For more authenticity can add INW Dragon Fruit or TFA, as they taste like white gummy bear, and some sweetener. Thick, sticky. Prominence of pineapple flavour limits versatility for use as an additive to make other fruits gummy. (39.42)
DEL Gummy Bear: Should be ranked lower. Delightfully mediocre. Similar to CAP 27 Bears, but not quite as good. White, pineapple gummy bear. Good gummy texture. Decent flavour. Start around 5%. (42.25)
WF Gushy Fruit: The gloop in the centre of a Gushers candy. Great gloop though! Sticky, sweet, syrupy. Mostly the red Gusher flavour - cherry and strawberry? Similar to FW Cherry Berry, but better. (43.46)
OOO Melon Gummy: Should be ranked lower. Pretty mediocre. Softer watermelon, not punchy Jolly Ranchers watermelon. Lacks sweetness for candy. No discernable off notes. (46.29)
WF Peach Gummy: Emily's top 5. Good peach note, although slightly too natural for peach rings, has slight mustiness. Slight bitter note compared with...other two peach gummy.... A little thin. (47.35)
WF Strawberry Gummy Candy: Emily and ID10-T ranked as no. 1. Great texture. Good strawberry flavour but slightly too natural. Welch's strawberry fruit snack rather than gummy candy. Good depth and saturation. Thick, sweet chewy body. Full, smooth. Lacks waxiness of a gummy bear, but makes it more pleasant. Versatile, can be used outside of candy recipes. (49.15)
WF Sour Watermelon Candy: Tied in 2nd with FLV Peach Gummy for ID10-T Authentic to sour watermelon gummy slices, but with most, if not all, the sour licked off. But has the texture of the granulated, gritty sour coating. Incredible texture. Really thick, fluffy, gummy. Sweet candy finish. Good, artificial watermelon top note, but could be more punchy. Enhance with another watermelon in a recipe- maybe CAP Watermelon Candy or MB Big Watermelon? To get more sourness you could use 2-3 sour flavours at low % along with another watermelon to bury their flavour and just get the sourness/ tartness. Could use a little FLV Sour Apple, VT Sour Lemon and/or INW Lemon Mix at 0.25% or less. Good as an SF though. Use up to around 5%. Gets soapy at 6%. (52.45)
OOO Gummy Bears:
Ranked much lower.
Neutral flavour, not any fruit flavour in particular so versatile. But doesn't sell gummy that well. Had some gummy texture though. Could use as an enhancer to another gummy flavour.
(57.24)
PUR Jelly Candy: Ranked much lower. Scales fairly well. As % increased doesn't have any off notes, just gets chewier. Neutral flavour, not any flavour in particular so versatile. Just texture with some sweetness. (57.24)
WF Sour Blue Raspberry Candy: Like blue raspberry sour straws with sour licked off. Bold, sticky sweet. One of best blue raspberries. Gummy element doesn't come through until around 4.5%. It's slightly too soft, like their Sour Watermelon Candy, but can use VT Boysenberry to make it punchier without taking away from candy profile. 6% really good. 7.5% starts to get soapy (58.40)
OSDIY Blue Raspberry Slush- use at 8%+ as SF or use at 6% with 1% INW Raspberry for nice blue raspberry in a mix. It's syrupy and had slight gritty, slushy texture.
FLV Peach Gummy: Everyone's number 1 or as no. 2. Peach rings- very authentic. Perfect artificial peach top note. Nice gummy candy body. Only thing it's missing is the gritty/ granulated texture on the outside of a peach ring. Also needs some sweetener for authenticity. Good as a SF. Could add a little of any other peach flavour to make it a bit more punchy, but doesn't need it. Some INW Peach, FLV White Peach, any of the Juicy Peach flavours- whichever you like. If you wanted it thicker or chewier could add a little marshmallow or Vanilla Swirl etc. Whatever you think it needs it doesn't need much of it as it's already do authentic. Mild throat hit. FLV Papaya Punch is oddly very similar to FLV Peach Gummy, but with a little tropical funkiness. Could bend it into a mango gummy flavour? Mango and peach very similar. Maybe using FLV Papaya Punch would work better for this as it already has tropical funkiness? Recipe - The Ringer by Mr Burgundy. Very authentic peach gummy recipe. (1.02.55)
I only have CAP 27 Fish, FLV PeacH Gummy and WF Sour Ball Candy that would be more or less qualifying as gummy flavors. Sadly I did not even use one of them by now.
I still have left most of the 10ml single flavor testers that I mixed up for the Banana and Cherry FOTW's.
So the test for those gummy flavors will have to wait a bit for me.
But I guess I might like them if I find a good recipe. Looking forward to what will be posted here.
What are the best recommedations for gummy flavors that will work in a rather fruity gummy recipe? I think the WF Sour Gummy Candy does sound quite good, but I haven't been able to find that one on Chefs.
Hey, they have it for sale on Rainbow Vapes who are also in the UK (plus it’s a teeny bit cheaper than Chefs!). They have ridiculously quick shipping. They sent my last order out on Monday and I got it yesterday (Tuesday).
If Chefs don’t have something I always check rainbow vapes- plus they do FW in 10ml bottles instead of just 30mls which is useful for some of their flavours I don’t use that often.
https://www.rainbowvapes.co.uk/products/sour-gummy-candy-wonder-flavours-super-concentrates-10ml?_pos=1&_sid=30e664bae&_ss=r
Oh, thanks for bringing rainbow Vapes back into my mind. I think I only ordered one from them and then somehow forgot they exist. Will check out their offerings when I am about to order more flavors.
Finally got around to testing FW Gummi bear last night, I had high Hope's for this. It is Either up to high @5% or needs to steep or just bad. I got a super artificial cherry like ludens cough drops with the same off not I got from there Hawaiian punch and not a whole lot of gummi.
I think both, too high and really not great anyway.
How about RF Super Concentrate sour gummy, have you tried that or will you for the show? I bought a ton of there flavors from bullcity for next to nothing. The ones I have tried so far are really not so great and have had no texture what so ever. So I just kind of gave up on testing them.
Looking forward to this week, as i only have one gummy type flavor, which is 27 bears. I haven't gotten around to playing with it yet, but im always glad to be able to learn more about a certain profile or concentrate. I know lately ive been digging my sons gummy fruit snacks, it would be kind of cool to have that in vape form.
I've been waiting for this FOTW since it was first requested.
OOO Strawberry gummy candy and CAP 27 Bears are the main ones I use.
Been meaning to pick up WF Blueberry gummy candy and a few others.
One of my favorite gummy mixes is:
27 Bears CAP @ 0.5 Rhubarb YC INW @ 0.5 Strawberry Jam OOO @ 3 Super Sweet CAP @ 0.5
Ever since I read the flavor review on WF Blueberry Gummy Candy I was sold
https://www.reddit.com/comments/elpyvc?sort=new
I have a few gummy flavors but I found that most have an chemical off-taste. One that I really like though is FA Pazzo King, it is a blackcurrant gummy flavor that I think is delicious and well-rounded even as a single flavor. FA candy/jammy wizard is also a good to add a bit of gumminess to a lot of recipes. I heard people use a bit of INW cactus at low percentages to get a juicy gumminess.
I tried this about a month back it's pretty good and kind of makes you pucker a little it does lean into the SOUR some.
- 0.2 (FLV) Black Currant
- 0.4 (FLV) Bourbon
- 0.2 (FLV) Cotton Candy
- 0.8 (FLV) Marshmallow Vanilla
- 0.4 (FLV) Peach
- 1 (FLV) Peach Gummy

Not a whole lot of experience with gummies myself, but if somebody makes a good gummy penguin recipe, I’ll love you forever.
Gummy Penguin Bulk Candy 5-Pound Bag Halal https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BIIT7DE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_p1ftEbNY27AN6
What do those taste like?
I feel the same way about Mango!Mango! gummies
https://www.amazon.com/Trader-Joes-Gummies-Flavored-passionfruit/dp/B007TPHE7Q
but I think I finally found a flavor that could be a breakthrough on that front.
You’ve never had them?! They’re the best gummy candy to ever be invented.
They’re also known as peachy penguins. They have a really nice candied peach flavor. I know that they’re also made with a little bit of apple juice which comes through very faintly. Other than that, I’d compare the gummy most closely to those gummy sharks (if you’ve had those lol).
Those mango candies sound good too!
If I was a smart man I would check these posts before I put in orders for flavors. I forgot I wanted to try sour/gummy flavors and didnt order any then now this pops up and reminds me.
Damn sure I'll be watching this post for recipes to save though.
So I happened to win this Flavorah giveaway during the Banana week, and my package came in just in time to talk about FLV Peach Gummy.
It’s gummy week, so I figured I would contribute. First things first, I’m a big fan of FA Indian Special Mango, it’s a candied mango that is absolutely delicious. When smelling the Peach Gummy and giving it a good old knuckle test, I had a hunch that they’d go well together.
Hex and a couple other guys in the sub discord were live mixing some gummy sharks last night, the blue raspberry ones with the white bottoms. I had wanted to try do something similar with Peach & Mango. It didn’t really turn out this way, but the Cream Fresh does some interesting things to the mouthfeel of this mix.
It’s pretty damn good, I won’t lie. One of those recipes that sounded good in my head and actually translated pretty well. This is far from complete, and at some point I’ll have to get around to making a thread for this profile, since I’ve now gone down the rabbit hole. However, I really enjoy it and figured it’d be a good way to show some love to FOTW.
The only thing I can really compare this too is Mango Peach Rings, but if anyone mixes this up be sure to let me know what you think :)
V1:
Peach Gummy (FLV) @ 2.25%
Indian Special Mango (FA) @ 2%
Apricot (FA) @ 1.25%
Powdered Sugar (OOO) @ 1.25% (May take this out, not sure what it’s really doing to the mix, or if it’s worth swapping for VT Fizzy Sherb)
White Peach (Fa) @ 1%
Cream Fresh (FA) @ .5%
Super Sweet (CAP) @ .25%
https://e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/3470675/Pango%20Gummy
EDIT: So, after some feedback from Fo, Dave, Max & Nachef, I decided to tweek some things. I'm going to list the final v2 version, however I want to note that v1 is absolutely delicious and should be vaped.
Mango Indian Special (FA) @ 2.5%
Peach Gummy (FLV) @ 2.5%
Fizzy Shebert (VT) @ 2%
Sweet Mango (CAP) @ 1.5%
Apricot (FA) @ 1.5%
Vanilla Swirl (TFA) @ .75%
I add .25% SS in this one as well, and I'd highly recommend adding some sweetener. This stuff is great!
Nice! This has some similarities to something I've been wanting forever and didn't think I could really do until I tried that FA Indian Mango, a specific type of mango gummy candy they have at Trader Joes called Mango!Mango! - I can't get enough of those damn things. I haven't had a chance to mix it yet but I just put it in ATF this morning to mix asap.
- 3% FA Indian Special Mango
- 1% FLV Mango
- 2% WF Frozen Yogurt
- 0.25% FLV Greek Yogurt
- 1% FLV Papaya Punch
- 3% PUR Passion Fruit
Yeah that FA Indian Mango really opened my eyes on some Mango Gummy Candy possibilities. This was a great start and I’m very pleased with how this is. Only thing I’d attempt different is Fizzy Sherb instead of Powdered Sugar, or Vanilla Swirl instead of Cream Fresh, both subbed out about the same percents.
Looks like I’m going to need a few of those to try that, once puppy get all his shots looks like I’ll need to make a flavor order. Need to get some of that Papaya Punch anyways, stuff sounds delicious. If you ever get around to mixing it up give me a shout and let me know how it turns out. If I’m ever out your way again I’ll bring a bottle of this Pango Gummy for you to try.
How does PUR Passion Fruit compare to WF? I’ve heard it is good, is it worth using over the WF?
WF Passionfruit - The amazing fading passionfruit. Nice citrusy tartness on top, thick, sweet syrupy body that’s appropriately tropically funky. As far as off-notes go, it tastes a little orange-y, and that’s about it. Not floral, earthy, perfumy, or anything like that, just some out of place OJ. Unfortunately, it fades or changes a bit after a steep; it mellows into a flatter, less vibrant flavor and that juicy citrusy becomes less tart and a little more lemonheads candy while the body gets a little more orangey. Still, tastes like a really good passionfruit for mixing with orange, which is a pretty popular thing to do with passionfruit. Mild TH on par with FLV but it’s more vibrantly flavorful pre-steep than FLV so it seems less out of hand. It’s like getting more bang for your buck, getting more flavor for your throat hit.
PUR Passion Fruit - Sweet passionfruit syrup. Almost entirely lacking the acidic tartness of a fresh passionfruit, but deep and intensely sweet like the passionfruit syrup you might use to make a cocktail or Italian soda. Nothing I’d call an off-note, just that missing tartness. Heavy syrupy feel to it. Plenty funky enough to capture passionfruit. Smooth, no throat issues here. I don’t know why you’d ever use CAP Passion Fruit while this is a thing. I’d use it for cocktail vapes, ice cream/sherbet, sodas, fruit punch that doesn’t involve fresh fruit or uses other fresh fruits, you name it.
I've been eying CAP Jelly Candy, CAP silverline 27 Bears, & TFA Gummy Candy for a while now. But I think I only need one because I heard they are pretty much the same. Or do I really need all three?
You heard wrong. CAP Jelly Candy & CAP 27 Bears are very different. The one you don't need is TFA Gummy Candy. It's a garbage flavor or, if I'm being generous, at the very least a difficult flavor to work with.
I sure could use that FLV fruit flavors pack. I just don't have enough fruits in my flavor stash. And as far as gummy candy's go I only have one. WF Strawberry Gummy SC. So far I just tried adding it to one recipe and couldn't taste it in there. Sounds like it's time for an SFT so I can get a better understanding of it.
Nice! Got 27 bears on the way and interested to know which of these flavors are decent to go with. Last show was nice by the way, a little long but good stuff.
Do you have any dragon fruit or pineapple flavors?
Not yet. Blueberry, pear, peach, orange and a few apples though. What's a good pineapple?
Depends on what you’re looking for in a pineapple but if you want pineapple juice, INW Pineapple. For a candy pineapple, WF Pineapple Candy. If you want something middle of the road, CAP Golden Pineapple. Other pineapples are good too, VT Sugarloaf, FLV. I’d just say avoid FA Pineapple. TFA is ok, but a little difficult to work with. Some people really like that MB Funky Pineapple, as well.
I've been really successful creating gummy flavors. The white "pineapple" flavored gummy has been elusive for me.
Really looking forward to this week- I’ve always avoided most candy flavours after trying a few candy commercial juices ages ago. Put me off as it really wasn’t my thing. Just sweetness in a bottle- more so than usual with commercial liquids! Plus I’m not a candy lover IRL anyway.
I just got WF Strawberry Gummy Candy for the Developed strawberry milk recipe and it’s a surprisingly good flavour so now I’m looking forward to trying more.
Anyone got any suggestions for good candy flavours or especially recipes?
I only have 27 Fish and 27 Bears as far as gummy types go.. I get a slight plastic taste from 27 fish, but only at high percentages (7% to be precise). I did not test 27 Bears that high so I can't say for sure whether the plastic note is in there too. At about 5-6 % is where I tend to use these flavours, and I get no off notes.

Here is a very simple, straight forward pineapple gummy I find quite tasty:
(CAP) 27 Bears 5.5%
(FA) Marshmallow 1%
(INW) Pineapple 5%
Cheers!
I've been loving CAP 27 Bears at around 5-7% with a little sweetener, though it lacks something it really has that gummy bear texture down.
- 5% CAP Rainbow Candy SL 5%
- 3% FW Grape Soda 3%
- 1.5% CAP Jelly Candy 1.5%
Bounces between a grape freezy, psuedo-soda, jolly rancher and gummy depending what I put it in. I really need to try some other grapes though, that FW GS is really sweet and hard on the coils.
2% INW Grape should be the purple flavor you want.
Indeed, INW is the one I'm kicking myself for not grabbing when I was rounding up some grapes. I do have SC Grape and FLV Grape, probably should give those a go in here before I order another.
Say if you won or purchased that fruit pack; what fun could you mix with it? Or are they more ‘additives’ to other flavours.
I really need to get a “gummy starter kit” - anything in particular anyone would recommend?
If ALL I had was the fruit pack I could still have a bunch of gummy fun playing with FLV Peach Gummy.
Peach & Apricot Gummy, Peach & Banana Gummy, Peach Gummy + Pink Fruit, Spearmint Peach Gummy, Peach and Tangerine Gummy.
And for break from gummy, I might mess around with combinations of Acai and Sweet Fig and Grape and Pink Fruit or Grape and Menthol or both.
For a gummy starter pack for non-peach gummies I'd grab CAP Jelly Candy, CAP 27 Bears, and WF Sour Gummy to start with, as more versatile ingredients, then maybe later consider all of the various WF gummy things as well as WF Sour Watermelon and WF Sour Blue Raspberry Candy for more specific gummy profiles.
Sour blue raspberry you said.
That sounds high on the list of things I need to get.
So the 3 you mention; what else would work well with some blue raspberry? I didn’t know if before today, but gummy flavours needs to be in my life; time to make an order later on.
Oh and grape, yes. Grape gummy with blue raspberry, yes yes...
Since we're on the topic of gummy, I do have a question about a flavor additive I saw on BCF, I saw something called a gummy wizard. What is that for? Does it enhance gummy flavors? Does it make them gummy? What does it do? Anyone have this and can explain what it is exactly?
Do you mean FA Candy/Jammy Wizard?
This thread definitely has me suddenly craving a good gummy vape. Like a Welsh's fruit snack... I recently tried to make a gummy-ish recipe with WF Strawberry Gummy, WF Pineapple Candy (which I thought was pineapple gummy when ordering, not sure why, but it's not), & TFA Coconut Candy. It was.... weird. In a not very tasty kinda way. :(
So many of these recipes look amazing, but of course it seems like I'm missing 1 flavor on all of them. The MTL Blueberry Gummy by u/hexical looks super interesting - maybe Strawberry Gummy with FW Blueberry would equal mixed berry gummy? 🤔 Time to start playing with Cap 27 Bears, jelly candy, &/or 27 fish, I guess! Fingers crossed for a wild/mixed berry or mango gummy!!
Edit: Apparently I forgot how to tag
This weeks FOTW is Gummy Candies. The only one I have is CAP Jelly Candy. For the life of me I don't know why I have it. I don't remember ever making a recipe that includes it. Maybe this week the crew will suggest one that I can whip up.
One my favorite gummy recipes Blue Sharks
CokeCan’s soda bears is pretty tasty stuff as well.
/u/Hexical_ did you know there was already a blue shark recipe?
Really simple recipe I made. tastes good tho

I have around 5 gummy-type flavors - But to me gummy is all about texture, and not so much the flavor. However finding the right flavor combo gives a kind of associative experience that convinces me I'm experiencing a gummy.
So with that in mind I'll say that CAP 27 Bears and VT Sugarloaf Pineapple makes for the perfect Pineapple Gummy Candy - Like those white Haribo Gummy Bears. Have yet to find the perfect ratios - But as of this moment 2% Sugarloaf and 4% 27 Bears does the trick.
MrBurgundy's "The Ringer" https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/68857.This recipe also gives me those gummy vibes, and is the best peach rings recipe I've tried thus far - Others seem to have some harshness, and just don't capture the profile quite as well as this one does.
I have 27 bears by cap I’ve solo tested and used in few recipes but idk what it is about it I don’t get a gummy out of it. Cap Jelly candy I like this one a lot definitely found some great recipes and made some with it. Definitely adds sweetness to a mix. One of the best Jelly candy recipes imo is

Nickevz knocked out of the park on this one.
I don’t know if you can include WF chewy candy in gummy candy but this is very good stuff.
I love gummy candies especially gummy worms 😋, but vaping this flavor?... To me gummy worms are a combination of texture and, more importantly, the tart/sour flavor. Something that I never quite get from vaping. That is not to say this kind of flavoring is not important as there are many different kinds of gummy candies out there (Dots for instance). I’m interested in what the Noted crew has to say on this one 😀
I am hoping you can test the VTA RED SOFT & RED CHEW candies
Really hate to disappoint, but I didn't even know those existed
I don't have any gummy flavors, what's a good base to get started with?
Bluish Gummies
27 Bears (CAP) @ 5
Blueberry Candy (TPA) @ 4
Cotton Candy (FLV) @ 0.8
Green Apple Hard Candy (CAP) @ 2
Marshmallow (TPA) @ 1.5
Moscato (FLV) @ 0.5
Edit: Built this off the ingredients list of a blue gummy sharks product on Amazon. Was curious how it would be as a dry wine.
I never vaped gummy juice and probably never will. But I'm curious nonetheless.
Also, again, shameless "enter-the-draw" post, because those fruits sure look nice (and rhubarb! Really? Weird but interesting. Not a fruit, btw ;).
I agree about Rhubarb but...
> the European Union issued a directive in December 2001 classifying tomatoes as fruit — along with rhubarb, carrots, sweet potatoes, cucumbers, pumpkins and melons.
And that's not the only legal precedent defining them as fruit ;)

I appreciate what you all are doing, but please stop torturing yourself. With that said, does gummy candy really have a "flavor"? I always thought it was more of a texture.
I have to torture myself, paying Mistress Domina Masterson to do it was getting expensive.
Yes it absolutely has a flavor. Eat two gummies of different flavors and think about that they have in common underneath whatever fruit. That is the "gummy" flavor.
Follow up, if gummy candies are made with gelatin, is gummy flavoring halal? And for those with a discerning palate, can you taste the difference between bovine gelatin and pork gelatin? Third, why the heck do we have three versions of palate, pallet, palette in the english lexicon?
My collection of about 260 flavors includes zero candy flavors of any kind. I never considered buying any, figuring they'd be to sweet for my taste. Am I missing out on anything significant that's not excessively sweet?
I don't think so. Even the ones that don't taste particularly sweet on their own (CAP Jelly Candy for example) don't seem to me like they would taste right outside of profile that's very sweet.
Watch as soon as I say this someone will create the best not-too-sweet recipe using some gummy candy flavor and I'll have egg all over my face. Maybe it will be this Gin Jelly Candy that /u/isuamadog wants to do
Technically wouldn't salmiakki fit in with gummi texture, sorta? I mean it's closer to a stale dried gummi (along with aluminum salt and a flavor about as horrid as peach or strawberry - anise) It's odd that someone created a candy intended for only two purposes as far as anyone can tell... To prank unsuspecting soon-to-be-former friends or as something to be endured as a way to prove one's toughness.
You know what, I really don’t like sweet vapes. But I like candy irl. So, the sweet fits. It’s definitely not an every day thing for me, but they’re fun in their own right. There’s ones that mix better with fruits like sour watermelon candy and sour ball candy. Take a bright sweeter fruit and mix with that and see what happens. If you feel like it.
